Are you sure about that?
So, I wonder. Do we have a broken arrow? Did somebody with something like a Manpad shoot one of our birds down? A little beginning of war here on CONUS?

Didn’t someone on the previous page comment those “crash” pics were stock pics off the internet?
I’m assuming there was no crash.

There was chatter earlier about someone seeing a B52 surrounded with 4 hercules carriers. I can not remember what channel I was in at the time though.

Where are the top say 5 in COC? Anyone know if anyone that makes the list was near LA this evening?

I just looked at the adsbexchange and there isnt a military flight in that area right now. I would think that if a B52 went down you would see military aircraft in the air with their transponders on. I also couldnt find any sort of no fly zone established in the area

He's using stock photos that are found online as the "evidence" meaning he did not take those photos and passing them Off as he did..... 10000% fake use your heads everyone.
I get that. That is why seeing a flight tracked after the one on the 29th (ads-b . nl uses GMT time) proves that the plane is fine.

Hope someone only fatfingered the transponder ...
Squawking Emergency can be for any reason that forces the crew to read the emergency procedures section of their inflight checklist. "Declare Inflight Emergency" is one of the first steps to be taken, whether for something serious that could lead to a crash or for something minor that requires ending a training mission and heading home early (Oh crap. One of our 8 generators failed and we don't have enough power for the microwave oven. No Orville Redenbacher's, we're going home.)

That's why I don't agree with tweets being used as sources on this board. 99.9999% of all tweets, especially when coming from a random person on the internet, are either speculation or outright fake.

There's plenty of disinformation going on on both sides. Don't take ANYTHING as truthful until it's confirmed amd reconfirmed by multiple reliable sources. And use your brain. If something sounds incredibly out there, it probably is.

I'm coming into this 20 mins ago. What did you learn?

People should be listening to old timey radio shows from archive.org to get their cheap thrills, like The Whistler, Drag Net, Johnny Dollar instead of believing utter bullshit rando twits make up, yet here we are.

I give up.
The only problem is these incidents could be real. So we've discovered one that's fake. That's good, really.

I have had very few fakes in my time here. For instance, that Kansas thing today. Had to wait several hours for verification. But if I hadn't posted it someone else would. It wasn't fake at all.

:)
