Nice images-would you mind if I played with them for a few, make some minor adjustments?

I'm thinking the second one with a few adjustments would be a wall-hanger if it were my own work.

Along the same lines, we've had thunder and at least a little rain just about every day for 10 days now - strangest summer weather ever seen here.

Very cool! I love thunderstorms... the smell of wet earth and the ozone in the air, the wonderful feel of rain sluicing off hot skin and the wind cooling things down.

We haven't seen much of them this summer, but did get 2 1/2" of rain last weekend with a couple wild boomers... very grateful for the rain.

I like the third one. My place got rain yesterday also. About 1.5 inches. We sure did need it. By evening the mud in my bean plot should be solid enough that I can go into it and spray the mud off of their leaves. And then I can dig out some strawberries that were covered by the runoff from the potato patch. It was a very small storm though. Maybe the clouds that build up in the afternoons will rain on the rest of the state soon. The pastures are looking very dry.

Aardy-this is a five minute job with a few adjustments and some cropping, I would not print it as web quality printed tends to blow and it is not 'done' just sort of an example how a little filtring and such can dramatically enhance [[hopefully]] the image.

What if you changed the height/width aspect ratio and widened the photo a bit, to illustrate the dark landscape and provide darker contrast with the lightening?
