Happy Easter, Everyone! The Lord has risen, and WOW! do we need Him!!!

We are enjoying a lovely spring day, blue skies, a light breeze, and 76 degrees.

Our move is completed and we survived it! It was touch and go there for a while, but we pushed through to get it all done.
Then the next day we went back to the old house for 7 hours of scrubbing and cleaning. Yesterday I went shopping for the needed things for the week plus a bunch of errands. Then yesterday afternoon, I popped in to my sisters for a family Easter gathering. I couldn't stay long. I was so beat, I headed home to crash. Slept for 12 hours, then rose to a beautiful Easter day. Mass was special, then back to beginning the process of setting things up here. I'm back to work early tomorrow, so getting the essential things done was at the top of the agenda.

Dinner will be a tray of homemade lasagna and meatballs that my sister made. Can't wait!

How about you? Share a square or just "What's for dinner?"

Can't believe you got it all done !! Hope your new life there will be happy !!

:)

Not sure what dinner is; not going Instacarting til Wednesday. I love Instacart !! Let's see, maybe a ham and swiss sammich, or maybe some linguini with veggies. I don't know.

Spring is here -- enjoy it.

Overcast at 72 degrees with a light breeze here. My cherry tree is almost at peak blossom. It is so beautiful. My irises are about done for already.

Lunch is going to be crab cakes, baked potato and squash casserole. I bought a small ham but wasn't in the mood for it today.

I need to move too Seabird so I would be forced to clean out my clutter. Staying in one place for 20 plus years equals too much stuff.

Have a great week ya'll.

It's a beautiful, sunny, 80 degrees here, today.

Supper will be left-over meatloaf, mashed potatoes with butter and garlic, home canned purple hull peas, fresh dug green onions from the garden, and cornbread. No dessert, tonight. We'll have a glass of cab sav, later, tonight.

Turned out to be a sunny day, and warmer than predicted, getting up to about 45 degrees. Still snow up to our knees, but it's dropping a little every day.

Easter dinner was spring-themed, with glazed spiral ham, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, and strawberry pie for dessert.

I made Chili and cornbread yesterday during our fun storm so will have them for leftovers today.
The not so fun result of the storm probably is a septic system that has to be pumped tomorrow. Luckily we found someone to come out tomorrow morning. Talk about the luck of the Irish, Easter Sunday is not the best time for your toilet to start burping.
Congrats Seabird on the successful completion of your move. I hope you have much happiness in your new home.

It's 75 and cloudy here today. DD and both grandsons came to eat with us. One of our sons is working the other is sleeping because of his crazy 24 hour shifts so they weren't here today. We had ham, green bean casserole, homemade baked macaroni cheese, Hawaiian rolls and strawberry shortcake for desert.
Congratulations on your successful move Seabird! I pray everyone has a blessed week!

I took today off to go to Church and have a family dinner. Weather is awesome today.Lunch was a bit different but I didn't have to cook. Lunch was salad, spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. I brought dessert which was a flourless chocolate torte and a red velvet cream cheese cake. Dinner will be a traditional Easter one, smoked ham, potato casserole, corn and deviled eggs and a sweet bread. Happy Easter Everyone...Jesus is our Savior.

Another fine day here in my area with a beautiful sunrise this morning! I got my apothecary garden cleaned out this morning then proceeded to try and get the Green Egg going so I could cook some ribs. I finally got it going and figured out how to get the temp to stay in the right range but still managed to overcook half of the ribs. It was still edible so no loss :) Made mashed potatoes and creamed corn to go with the ribs. Hope you all had a fine Easter Sunday!

Honey baked ham in a casserole dish topped with crush pineapple. Baked ham was frozen left over from Christmas. Had a wonderful coleslaw and potatoes, green bean, onion side. DW topped it off with a chocolate water cake smothered in cherry pie filling. It was Epic on this day of celebration.

I made my first attempt at Frenched Rack of Lamb. It turned out pretty good. I like it a little too much on the rare side so I have to be careful with guests. I also made Granny's Coconut Cake for the first time. That turned out fabulous and just like I remembered. The rest of the meal . . . plain old, plain old. After reading all your delish meals, looks like I forgot to make deviled eggs!

Our turn to host the family dinner.

First we had to do a wee bit of house straightening and vacuuming.

Boy oh boy are we getting older and have less strength to move furniture to vacuum up the dust dinosaurs, tee heed.

We made honey maple syrup glazed ham, twice backed potatoes, asparagus with Hollandaze sauce. Cousin brought a delicious cherry pie, dear daughter brought a fantastic salad. Everyone tookhome enough ham fir two meals.

Gorgeous warm and clear day. We got an Amazon order today which was supposed to be here Monday. Very surprised and we thanked the young delivery driver fir working on Easter.

Our dog did well with the guests. May all here at Time Bomb be blessed in the coming months.
