Obama's tax plan calls for tax relief for 95 percent of workers and their families. Though non-partisan tax policy organizations agree that 40 percent of Americans don't pay income tax, many of those are lower-income earners who file payroll taxes through their employers.

Tell me how 95% of American Workers who DON'T pay taxes are going to get a tax break.

CAPITAL GAINS TAX – Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about own houses?
MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX - Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about getting their taxes cut have any of the following (money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends)
MCCAIN 15% (no change)

How will this affect you? How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.


NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet. - Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about own a house bigger than 2400 square feet?
New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) - Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about buy gasoline?

New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity) - Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about consume natural resources?
New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least.... - Do any of the 95% of the people Obama is talking about have any retirement accounts?
New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!

Wake up and smell the coffee folks, overall no one’s taxes will be lower if Obama gets voted into office.

Redistribution of wealth

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign the read “Vote
Obama, I need the money.” I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08" tie, again I
laughed–just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him
that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood
there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his
tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The
server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server
inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was
grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized
the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter
was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the
actual recipient needed the money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept
than in practical application.

OR IS IT………REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE’S WEALTH IS A GREATIDEA…………..or
just a fools political game !!

More handouts to your fellow American's? Why that's absolutely horrible! Okay, let's say 95-40 = 55 per cent of your fellow American's who do pay taxes. One you thing you are forgetting = they do pay taxes of their paychecks.

On Bill Moyer's program Friday night, these "people" that you keep getting the shudders about - they are the WORKING POOR. You know, the grocery stores clerks selling you your prep items, $9 per hour; the guy stocking your prep items $7-$9 per hour; the convenience store clerk - $7-$9 per hour.

Can you make on $9 per hour, plus get to work, plus afford healthcare? Probably not. Now take out taxes. What is that 20% + FICA + Medicare + State + Local (in a lot of places) = how much is left over for bus pass, food, electricity?

No - ya'll can shit and piss over these working poor, but I am not. I will give up $500 of my tax rerund for someone in this situation. Didn't YOUR messiah say "what you do to these least of these, you do to me?" He wasn't just talking about children, he was talking about living, breath people. I don't remember him saying anything about zygots being people.

As stated above - when you work, you have taxes taken of your check. That is 12 months of PAYING TAXES. You get a refund starting in February of the next year.

Uhhh, they don't. There will be a working class, and a leach class, who rely on the working class to pay for ever-expanding entitlements (free health care, subisidzed or free housing, free secondary education, yearly bonus checks above and beyond any income and other taxes they pay, etc.). The leach class is a state of mind, and has nothing to do with how much money you make, but rather how much you demand or want from the government.

Their intent is to make the leach class large enough to be self-replicating and to own the political establishment by being in greater numbers than the working class.

Of course, there is not enough money in the over $250,000 crowd to pay to accomplish this, so it will have to be ratcheted downwards "progressively" especially considering that Obama will have to ensure plenty of loopholes remian for the mega-wealthy like Soros and Oprah and Baba who have supported his sorry ass. Eventually, the economy will tank, but scads of new powerful elite will be built up in the meantime, all without producing a damn thing.

Kalliope apparently never aspires to be anything other than in the leach class. Either that or there is a whole lot of deep-seated guilt going on there.
