Wow, this is a huge story. I wonder why he really did it, or whether it was an "assisted suicide," by the Deep State. Maybe he knew too much about the elite pedophile rings in New York City?

Given the deep hatred and contempt both the Governor of New York, and the Mayor of New York City are showing towards Jews, I don't at all rule out a targeted hit by the Deep State. What did this guy know about the elite pedophile rings in New York City? It is a classic technique to off somebody in their car. It is easy to do, virtually undetectable and is easy to hide under "mental stress."

The fact he did this right after attending his retirement party, he spent 39 years on the NYPD, gives the Deep State a quick cover. Between Youtube banning all conservatives, and the multiple white leaders being killed in South Africa, and now what may be targeted murders here in CONUS, the deep state has taken the gloves off.

It may be this guy just got depressed and offed himself, but I doubt it: maybe he was going to write a book about what Weiner really had on his computer hard drive?

Nothing nefarious. He was weeks away from forced retirement (62 max age). Law enforcement was his life and he died an active duty officer, not retired.

Maybe he was investigating de Blasio's wife's money laundering/embezzlement scheme???

Every LEO I've ever met looked forward to retirement, to the days when they didn't have to deal with the scum of the Earth and see horrific things.

To off one's self after seeing that day roll around is irregular.

This is it in a nutshell. The guy did almost 40 years of service. He did not know how to handle tomorrow without the job. No wife or kids

Having served 37 years as a Firefighter, from probie all the way to a Battalion Chief, I can tell you that when leaving the job is right around the corner, it does screw with your head. There is little to no counciling for a soon to be retiree. One minute you are coming in and getting it done, the next minute you are out the door, and see you later. I used to tell guys who came on after me, that "I was you yesterday and you will be me tomorrow" it goes that fast. I'm lucky that I have a supportive wife and a supportive family. But for many in the police and fire family, the job is their life. When that life ends...well, it is a very hard adjustment for many. I look back on my career with love, fondness and gratitude for being a part of it, but there are days that I miss it. And going back and visiting? it's not the same. it's not YOUR place anymore and you don't want to be "that guy" who doesn't know when to realize he's not there any more.

I can tell you that the day I went to the personnel department four years ago and handed in my signed retirement papers with the date and my signature on them. I got choked up as I left the office. It seems that you'll always be doing the job until you realize that no, you won't. This is not that uncommon actually, that fire and police take their own lives not long after they pull the pin and leave. It is a culture that is truly part of us. Who knows, maybe the guy did see wiener's laptop or knew something. but I'm guessing? he was another casualty of "what the hell do I do with my life NOW". It's truly sad and heartbreaking.

guys, you MIGHT want to listen to the folks who have lived that life, where the job is THE life you live (not a PART of the life).

How do you know? Do you know him? There is a very distinct possibility he knew too much or stepped on some toes. It is not out of line to speculate on an assassination, as these are arranged easily by the mob/deep state.

Well said, CTFIREBATTCHIEF, and thanks for pointing all of this out.

Same problem also exists with career military officers and brass. Back in the 1990s, was part of a discussion regarding a life insurance company statistic/truism that showed a significant number of retired officer deaths were occurring by year four, post retirement.

Sobering.

"Pierce County sheriff’s deputy kills himself while out of town on police business
By Craig Sailor

csailor@thenewstribune.com

MAY 12, 2017 01:43 PM, UPDATED MAY 13, 2017 09:07 AM
A longtime Pierce County sheriff’s deputy took his life Friday while in Yakima working a case in Yakima, according to the department.

Deputy Kory Shaffer, 47, ended his life with a self-inflicted gunshot, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said in a statement.

“Department members are with Deputy Shaffer’s family at this incredibly difficult time, and we also have department members in Yakima to assist there as well,” Troyer said.

Shaffer had been with the department since 2000. He was named Officer of the Year in 2007 for his work investigating meth labs."

That statement may have some merit. Paraphrasing Ctfirebattalion chief, when you do that job for that amount of time and at that level of rank, you are treated like president of a major corporation or military general. I know the neighborhood where this happened,, it wasn’t far from where he worked. He probably was on his way back in from handing in his papers. I’ll bet it weighed very heavily on his mind. For people that love the job, it’s very difficult to leave the job.

NYPD detective found dead in apparent suicide day after deputy chief's suicide

NEW YORK CITY – A detective with the New York City Police Department's Brooklyn South homicide squad died Thursday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the New York Post.

The vehicle of Joe Calabrese, 58, was found at Plumb Beach just off the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Thursday, an NYPD spokesman told Fox News.

Calabrese was last seen at around 2 a.m. leaving Maimonides Medical Center, where he was visiting his wife who had undergone minor surgery, according to the Post. His vehicle was found by another officer about an hour later approximately five minutes from his home.

The detective never reported to work on Thursday and could not be reached, prompting officers to search for him.

“I am shocked and shattered beyond belief,” Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives' Endowment Association (DEA), told The New York Post. “Joseph Calabrese was a dedicated detective, union official, husband and father. He was the salt of the earth.”

Calabrese was the chairman of the Board of Trustees for the DEA, as well as a union trustee.

Excellent advice. I'll pass this on to a couple folks who are soon retiring from all-consuming careers; I hope they take that advice.

Well, THREE NYPD officers killing themselves in cluster like this means something else is going on. 3 NYPD officers killing themselves in a 9 day period is not normal. Assuming they were involved in the Weiner investigation, and the fact that evidence of a wide ranging pedophile ring was covered up, the Deep State is preventing any chance of the large pedophile ring in New York City and State, involving politicians, judges, business leaders, media stars from being known. We know Weiner had detailed "save my butt," files on his seized computer, which the NYPD meekly gave over to the corrupt FBI, and then all of that vanished. And now NYPD officers involved in that are dying by "assisted suicide." Yep, these are open murders by the deep state. The rot is everywhere now. All that is left is for Iris Dei to turn New York city into a large crater.

BREAKING: Third NYPD Officer Kills Himself After Police Chief Kills Himself

Posted By: Dean James June 14, 2019

BREAKING NEWS! A police officer shot himself to death on Staten Island Friday, the third cop to do so in the past nine days, the NYPD reports.

EMS was requested to the 121 Precinct in Staten Island at around 4:00PM, for reports of an officer with a gunshot wound. The officer was found shot in a parked vehicle behind the Precinct at 55 Wilcox Street near Sanders Street. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on the scene, Breaking 911 reports.
Sources tell Breaking911 that the officer was a “Domestic Violence” officer at the Precinct.

The Department is still in shock after the recent suicides of Deputy Chief Steven Silks in Queens on June 5th, followed by the suicide of Detective Joseph Calabrese on June 6 in Brooklyn.

the old saying that if it walks like, quacks like, and looks like - - yes, it IS a duck. appreciation to those that brought up the job withdrawal issue and sympathies to those who suddenly find themselves without purpose or meaning. To me, in these cases, it's a f*ck'en DUCK. In all likelihood these guys were potential hostile witnesses and the criminal element dealt with them. Would not doubt that these are the ones than made the news, and there are large number more who died of what appeared to be natural or accidental but were not.

Arkanside, assisted suicide, light aircraft crashes, nail-gun mishaps, and dozens of other ways to get killed - the criminals are nasty evil sh*ts - I've said before that I would cheer for the team who uses a scoped hunting rifle to fight back.

Does anyone here think that at least 1 of these 5 was wise enough to create a deadman's switch file with some lawyers someplace?

also, while they talk about suicide, would be interesting to see the bodys, holes in the back of the head like foster was, that was a quote suicide

or in the side that makes it a possible real suicide, get my drift:shr:

Maybe a hit job, NY won't have to pay out for his pension and a host of other bennies NYC can't afford. Most everyone who put in that kind of time looks forward to retirement. Maybe the commie mayor had his hand in it. RIP.

Maybe, working in NYC where they are allowed to be demeaned and have assaults carried out on them with impunity, with no words of support from the community or city hall... MAYBE, that affects morale and mental health?

Maybe, a person can only shoulder so much hate when they are really trying to do nothing more than help others?

Geez... A lot of folks need to loosen the tin foil...

Most everyone who put in that kind of time looks forward to retirement.

Most everyone who isn't in this career field...

His insurance will certainly pay. I don't see why his pension plan would not.

YES, virtually ALL Insurance policies pay on suicide, just so long as it has been in force more than a limitation period, TYPICALLY 24 months.

A NYPD officer has reportedly died by suicide in Queens, marking the ninth such death this year.

The off-duty officer was found Wednesday dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Their identity has not been given. The death also marks the seventh suicide death for NYPD since June and the second this week.

The recent deaths have prompted Police Commissioner O’Neill and Chief of Department Terrence Monahan to convene mental health experts to discuss the issue. Officials are considering several possible solutions, including putting peer counselors and clinicians in each precinct.
