Checking In

Greetings to the TimeBomb2000 community!

Haven't had much time to read the good info here, let alone post. Hope to be more of a contributor than a lurker.

My areas of experience and interest are in: earth and natural science (I am a degreed geologist), monetary/economic matters and survival skills.

This appears to me to be a well-informed forum community regulated by only a minimum of sensible restrictions, mostly targeted towards proper etiqette, something not as common as it used to be in the world-at-large. :shk:

So here's to a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas! :D

It's an honor ...

Hi Everyone - checking in for the first time as a registered member instead of a lurker, thanks to Kris. Yes, been lurking for over 12 months and each and everyone of you has earned my unbridled respect and admiration - you guys and gals are fabulous - maybe their is hope for our species, not to mention our motherland, America.

Hope I can be equally informative and educational as most of you.

Blessings to all,

Observer999 (aka John)

Hello!!!! I finally made it here as a real person... not just a lurker. I have really enjoyed some of information here. I hope I can contribute some meaningful information as well. I am a single mom of 2 daughters (22 and 19) and also have the most wonderful grandson (4 years old). He calls me Wingie... don't ask me why... but he can call me anything he wants in the sweetest little voice of his. I think he calls me Wingie because he can see my angel wings... that is my story and I am sticking to it. I have lived in NE Oklahoma all of my life. I am a RN and recently started back to school. I am working towards my masters in nursing and clinical nurse specialist as well. I hope to finish in May of 2008. Thanks for letting me join in the fun.

I just found you all a couple of days ago. I love all the "prep" ideas. We are homesteading in the country, so I'll never have to "bug out" of a city. But I've gotten a lot of good ideas for my life right now!

We do have electricity, but want to be ready to live off grid if it ever goes down.

Hi everyone, new member GeoffS here, I've been lurking around here for a few months. I've been into preparedness for years and I'm a volunteer fireman so I deal with emergency stuff all the time. Hope to get to know some of you.
Have a good day everyone!
