I'm having problems with my Jimmy..... No not that one! I'm talking about my 1997 GMC Jimmy.
We were leaving for church Sunday and when I turned the ignition over it wouldn't start. Wouldn't even try to turn over. Just makes weird noises. I know the battery is good so I'm thinking something isn't connected good, but don't know what for sure.
I'm also having a problem with the safety on the gear shift. When you start the vehicle you have to press on the break before you can shift out of park. Well there are some wires that came out on the gear shift and I can't take it out of park. My problem is that I don't know which wire goes in which slot.
As you can tell I'm not very mechanical. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
