My Friends first Hand Experience

My Friend sent me an email telling me what happened to her husband at work to day. They live in northern Texas. I have edited it to leave the name out

"D----- is the only White guy that works outside.... He has 25 years in where the other guys I guess have a year or so. They are x cons, and for some reason (comany name goes here) is hiring more x cons. I figure they must be getting something out of it. Well any way one of them went up to D---- today and asked him if he had got his ticket yet and D--- asked him what ticket and the x inmate said "now since Obama is president he will make all the whites go work in the cotton fields" D---- did not know what to say except "ok I got it"..

I guess since we now have a black president the blacks of this country feel they can say and do anything. :dot5:

This may well be
beyond Obama's realisation (he being a coddled sort), but he is a MONSTROUS figurehead
for the venom those who enjoy perceiving themselves as 'victims' of OTHERS enjoy 'VENTING'.

And NOW they feel EMPOWERED in so doing (as in, with IMPUNITY).

Mind, not in any CONSTRUCTIVE sense :(

Well it reflects on him. He better trot his ass up on the news and starts asking the brothas to knck the shit off or some of them will end up shot.

Their behavior will only succeed in marginalizing themselves as thugs and be representative of Obama supporters. They don't have a clue as to what they are doing and will harm his public image. Let them keep acting like animals because they will only succeed in demeaning his "presidency." His constituency will be his rapid downfall if he continues to allow it to go unchecked. He has A LOT of speechs to do to try to prevent this behavior. Somehow I doubt he will lift a finger which will be his ultimate failure and demise.

Because so many haven't a clue as to what America is/was, these "so many" look upon this election, this man, the color of his skin, as being their final solution to generations of being considered less than citizens of this country.

The mindset, for generations, has taught them that they should be looked after, taken care of, given what they need and want in life instead of rising above the stereotype and making their own life without the hand outs, generally speaking here.

So now they have "one of their own", if you will, in the most powerful position in the country and because of that mindset, they're letting everyone know that they're ready to collect on all those promises of the generations before them and the promises of "their man".

They don't care that the Constitution and Bill of Rights has been shredded to the point of almost not being recognizable. They dont' care that those were written for THEM also, not just white Americans. They don't care that more babies will be slaughtered or the right to own guns will be taken from them. They don't care about those who did work and save to have something for their families, they just know they don't have what you have and they want it by hook or by crook.

It's the mindset. They have no logical reason for doing and saying what they're doing and saying. They just know that "their man" is in the white house and now it's payback time. And they actually think he's going to deliver to them what they want. And when he doesn't, guess who they'll take it out on? Will they march to the white house and demand to be given what was promised? NO. They'll march down the streets of America and take it. Might not have been the 27 inch television that they wanted, but they settle for the 19 inch.

Will "their man" be able to persuade them that this type of action is not helping? NO. They'll see it as "you said you'd do this and that and you didn't, so we're going to take things into our own hands. We're tired of waiting on you to give us what is owed to us". And it just gets worse from there on out.

They dont' see themselves as being America. They don't see themselves as being part of the solution rather than part of the problem. They've been told that all their lives and believed it. So "their man" is going to make things better...for them. But in making things better for them, they don't realize that "their man" is really making things worse. It's the material things they want. True Americans want peace, freedom, true justice, and have been and are willing to fight for those attributes. But not "his people". New cars, stereos, tv's, big houses, fancy clothes, a check put into their bank accounts every Friday whether they earned it or not.

This sounds like it's a black against white issue. Some of it is. Some of it isn't. It's all in the mindset. If you are white and voted for "him" or black and voted for "him", when the promises are not kept, do you think that when the rioting and looting start that you'll be able to stand in your door and tell them: "But I voted for "him", I helped you get "your man" in the white house!" And they'll say thank you and walk away and NOT loot your home or burn it to the ground? It will be the color of your skin that they will be looking at and what you have that they don't have that will be the deciding factor.

Was this a black against white election? You'd be surprised how many think that it was. It wasn't who was the best man for the job, not that the other choice was all sparkly either. It was based on who could promise the most to those that feel they've had less than their fair share during their lives and those before them and those before them, etc., etc.. Generations voted in this election so there was generations of pent up anger and frustration and it just got turned loose. It's not the past they're wanting so much to have corrected, it's the present. Right now. And they want it "right now".

This is where it's all going to fall apart. But they don't realize and don't care because they rejected the knowledge, they will not reap any of the rewards of being IN America AS an American. Very sad for so many to live only in the moment and have no real understanding of who they are and what they could have accomplished.

It's all in the mindset.

Someone somewhere else on TB reported hearing, "We got a black president now. That means we can do whatever we want". I am guessing it will take a number of armed defenses to eradicate that mistaken belief.

Yeah, somebody ought to teach them uppity ones a lesson....

The racism over the last few days, from both sides, makes me sad. Hello??? We're ALL Americans.

This would be a reasonable answer if Obama hadn't already made his first choice for Chief of Staff of a nasty, back biting, evil creep who is meaner than a junk yard dog.

And Obama will appoint ACLU type judges and other people of power who will look the other way at those who feel empowered to get even and there won't be one thing we can do about it.

They will make today's whites live through what their grandfathers and grandmothers went through under the hand of those in power before we were ever born.

Forget the fact that our generation has fought hard for equality and most have tried hard for justice to all - but no - there is a lot of hatred in those following Jeremiah Wright and black 'liberation' theology.

And this is just the very beginning. It is going to get very, very ugly.

that sums it up, the best way to retaliate is in a politically correct manner, accuse them of intolerance and racism where applicable, report all questionable behaviour through official channels

political correctness works both ways or should

As long as the news media keeps painting him as a messiah - nothing will reflect bad on the black teflon man. And once in power - Obama will make sure that the news media never reports such stories.

Everything about Obama's past was a warning sign of who he is and how few airheads cared?

NO - letting it grow will not hurt him but it will break our spirit and that must not happen. I think we need to stand up to this kind of garbage now and not hope for mature adult reactions to bullying. That isn't going to happen and once his judges are all in place - up to and including the Supreme Court you can kiss justice goodbye too.

Yeah, somebody ought to teach them uppity ones a lesson....

depends on the legality of what they say and propose to do

trouble is race hate laws WILL NOT be applied fairly, but will favour chosen PC minorities

trouble is the blacks in South Africa and Zimbabwe treat the white minorities like shit, but no-one says anything

Obama played the race card and won, he forgets is is 1/2 white anyway, he won the election not on policies but on skin colour

It's silly to say that race isn't important in this election, because it is....some of us remember the Civil Rights era, when the idea that not only a black man but someone of mixed race (remember that mixed marriages were illegal in many states) could even get a nomination for president was unthinkable.

But the idea that he was elected BECAUSE of his race? Absurd.

I think that's one of the great things about this election....people didn't vote for Barack because of his heritage. They voted for him because of his intellect, ability, character, and stance on issues. The Obama vote crossed racial, cultural, gender, and party lines.

I guess you missed Howard Stern's bit with the reporter in Harlem. Folks there didn't know O's intellect, ability, character, nor stance on issues. They were voting for him because he looked like a black man.

Howard Stern is an asshole and always has been.

We Texans have not forgotten that he also ridiculed Selena on the day she was murdered. Doesn't surprise me that he went after Barack.

Interesting. So, what are we to take away from this story? Is the moral that we should not have elected Obama because now nothing is going to keep those black people in line? Whenever a black person commits a crime now or even just insults someone, will that be Obama's fault?

The proper response would have been to inform them that there is no need, since Eli Whitney, a white man, invented the cotton gin, which eventually made mechanized harvest possible and freed the blacks from picking cotton by hand. :D

You are living in a dream world. I have watched the city of Detroit for the past 40 years run by people of 'color' and I also am in a career where I see thousands of criminal histories every year and there is a HUGE imbalance in how the whites on black crimes are treated and the blacks on white crime.

Good grief - it was only last week that Drudge had on his site stories about an effigy of Palin hanging and no arrests were made and everyone just giggled.
Then one of Obama and arrests were made and the word racist thrown around.

And that was BEFORE your Great BO was elected. Once he stacks the court - this whole country will be just like Detroit - you want a preview of your future just look at Detroit - only BO will have a full military and all the way to the supreme court backing him. So it will be Detroit on steroids.

Enjoy.

And all that while the country had a white, Republican president? How is that possible?

fruit loop, you're smarter than that. Perhaps you voted for him for those reasons, but there is a whole bunch of folks that supported him because of his black heritage. White people , too, because they thought it would "show just how far this country had come to have a black president" Yep, heard that one with my own ears.

I think I'll puke if I have to hear one more person gush about the african-american or the black president. How about the bi-racial president? that's certainly more accurate. But you do not hear any one refer to him as bi-racial or half white. that's because it IS about race.
It's a shame, it didn't have to be like that and I place blame on the media for playing it up.
The african american population would have been just as proud to have him in office, but it would not have put the white population in the position of being defensive about being called "racist" if they criticize him.

Then again, he does seem to mostly ignore his white heritage, so I guess my point is debatable.
