ENVR My Birds Have Gone Missing

We were bird watching yesterday and realized we had not seen the flocks of robins we see late Feb/early March. Everyone else is here including the hummingbirds. Really odd.

I am not a morning person. We have a bird who is. I love seeing and hearing birds in the yard but there are days when I would love to muzzle that early morning twit.

The robins showed up here last week. Even though we have three feet of snow on the ground.

I'm waiting for the red winged blackbirds to come back here. They gather in one of my trees and sing for a while and then take off for the lakes, en masse. It's deafening when they are all together!

Ok, this is strange. I have not seen a bird in two days. We have robins constantly, hummers are banging on their feeders, finches rooting around in the grass. There is nothing today. I have two suet feeders out and they are unchanged since yesterday morning. Anyone else suddenly not seeing birds? We're in Kitsap County opposite Seattle.

I saw a few robins in the yard at my cousin’s house in Suquamish this weekend.

But we also had a ton of hail this weekend and snow included yesterday. V
