Why Is The Left Suddenly Worried About The End Of Democracy?

SUNDAY, DEC 19, 2021 - 07:45 PM
Authored by Victor Davis Hanson,

What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy’s future, from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams and other elite intellectuals, media personalities, and politicians on the Left? Some are warning about its possible erosion in 2024. Others predict democracy’s downturn as early 2022, with scary scenarios of “autocracy” and Trump “coups.”

To answer that question, understand first what is not behind these shrill forecasts.
  • They are not worried about 2 million foreign nationals crashing the border in a single year, without vaccinations during a pandemic. Yet it seems insurrectionary for a government simply to nullify its own immigration laws.
  • They are not worried that some 800,000 foreign nationals, some residing illegally, will now vote in New York City elections.
  • They are not worried that there are formal efforts underway to dismantle the U.S. Constitution by junking the 233-year-old Electoral College or the preeminence of the states in establishing ballot laws in national elections.
  • They are not worried that we are witnessing an unprecedented left-wing effort to scrap the 180-year-old filibuster, the 150-year-old nine-person Supreme Court, and the 60-year tradition of 50 states, for naked political advantage.
  • They are not worried that the Senate this year put on trial an impeached ex-president and private citizen, without the chief justice in attendance, without a special prosecutor or witnesses, and without a formal commission report of presidential high crimes and misdemeanors.
  • They are not worried that the FBI, Justice Department, CIA, Hillary Clinton, and members of the Obama administration systematically sought to use U.S. government agencies to sabotage a presidential campaign, transition, and presidency, via the use of a foreign national and ex-spy Christopher Steele and his coterie of discredited Russian sources.
  • They are not worried that the Pentagon suddenly has lost the majority support of the American people. Top current and retired officers have flagrantly violated the chain-of-command, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and without data or evidence have announced a hunt in the ranks for anyone suspected of “white rage” or “white supremacy.”
  • They are not worried that in 2020, a record 64 percent of the electorate did not cast their ballots on Election Day.
  • Nor are they worried that the usual rejection rate in most states of non-Election Day ballots plunged—even as an unprecedented 101 million ballots were cast by mail or early voting.
  • And they are certainly not worried that partisan billionaires of Silicon Valley poured well over $400 million into selected precincts in swing states to “help” public agencies conduct the election.
What then is behind this new left-wing hysteria about the supposed looming end of democracy?

It is quite simple.

The Left expects to lose power over the next two years - both because of the way it gained and used it, and because of its radical, top-down agendas that never had any public support.

After gaining control of both houses of Congress and the presidency - with an obsequious media and the support of Wall Street, Silicon Valley, higher education, popular culture, entertainment, and professional sports—the Left has managed in just 11 months to alienate a majority of voters.

The nation has been wracked by unprecedented crime and nonenforcement of the borders. Leftist district attorneys either won’t indict criminals; they let them out of jails or both.

Illegal immigration and inflation are soaring. Deliberate cuts in gas and oil production helped spike fuel prices.

All this bad news is on top of the Afghanistan disaster, worsening racial relations, and an enfeebled president.
  • Democrats are running 10 points behind the Republicans in generic polls, with the midterms less than a year away.
  • Joe Biden’s negatives run between 50 and 57 percent—in Donald Trump’s own former underwater territory.
  • Less than a third of the country wants Biden to run for reelection. In many head-to-head polls, Trump now defeats Biden.
In other words, leftist elites are terrified that democracy will work too robustly.

After the Russian collusion hoax, two impeachments, the Hunter Biden laptop stories, the staged melodramas of the Kavanaugh hearings, the Jussie Smollett con, the Covington kids smear, and the Rittenhouse trial race frenzy, the people are not just worn out by leftist hysterias, but they also weary of how the Left gains power and administers it.

If Joe Biden were polling at 70 percent approval, and his policies at 60 percent, the current doomsayers would be reassuring us of the “health of the system.”

They are fearful and angry not because democracy doesn’t work, but because it does despite their own media and political efforts to warp it.

When a party is hijacked by radicals and uses almost any means necessary to gain and use power for agendas that few Americans support, then average voters express their disapproval.

That reality apparently terrifies an elite.

It then claims any system that allows the people to vote against the Left is not people power at all.

Desperate Biden-Harris Regime Forced to Replace Failed 'Build Back Better' Scheme With More 'Pandemic Panic Theater'

Desperate Biden-Harris Regime Forced to Replace Failed ‘Build Back Better’ Scheme With More ‘Pandemic Panic Theater’

by JEFF CROUERE
December 19, 2021

After months of touting the necessity of the $4.9 trillion “Build Back Better” legislation, President Joe Biden suffered a tremendous setback with the decision of U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) to oppose the bill.

On Fox News Sunday, Manchin claimed “I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation, I just can’t.” Unless Democrats and President Biden can change Manchin’s mind, his decision means that the legislation in its current form will not pass Congress and be signed into law.

Next year, Biden and congressional Democrats may revive a more modest version of the legislation and garner Manchin’s support, but it will be a difficult prospect since progressives will not be supportive.

This loss of this signature legislation means Biden has few hopes of reviving his sagging political fortunes. An average of recent polls shows that Biden has only a 43.9% approval rating. This is a sharp drop from his approval rating in the early months of his presidency.

What are the reasons for the decline? Well, let us examine some lowlights of his first eleven months in office. The President cannot point to any foreign policy achievements. In fact, the disastrous military withdrawal from Afghanistan started the sharp drop in Biden’s approval ratings.

His economic policies have been a total failure, resulting in a massive increase in inflation to a forty-year high and a new and ever larger federal debt, which now exceeds $29 trillion.

The Biden energy plan has been a disaster. He placed a moratorium on new oil and gas drilling on federal government property and stopped construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. The results have been dreadful, but predictable, as gasoline prices have skyrocketed, and the country is once again dependent on foreign oil.

Crime in our urban areas has been exploding, while the border policies of the Biden administration have been an unmitigated failure. The President has created a border crisis unlike any in our nation’s history.

Upon taking office, Biden stopped construction of the border wall, reinstituted the damaging “catch and release” program and ended former President Donald Trump’s successful “Remain in Mexico” policy. The result has been clear as over two million people from approximately 160 countries illegally entered the United States in 2021.

This influx will put a tremendous strain on the entire country, but the President and Democrats do not care about the problems. Cynically, Democrats believe these immigrants will vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party. They will pursue this power grab, despite only 36% of Americans supporting these policies.

The best issue for President Biden involves his response to COVID-19. One recent poll showed that 53% of Americans supported his push to implement vaccine mandates. Despite this lukewarm poll result, Biden’s actual record on battling the pandemic has been atrocious.

There have been more COVID deaths during the Biden presidency than in the final year of the Trump administration. Although Biden had the benefits of multiple vaccines and the millions of Americans who developed natural immunity, over 400,000 people have died since his inauguration.

Even though Biden promised numerous times during the 2020 presidential campaign to “shut down the virus,” he has abysmally failed. Fortunately, for Biden, he will not have to worry about the media holding him responsible for these deaths.

Biden will soon transition to a “COVID forever” strategy. He will point to the increasing numbers of deaths as a reason for more mask and vaccine mandates.

Biden will continue to demonize unvaccinated Americans, although the precise size of this group is unknown. A recent report indicated that the number of unvaccinated Americans may be undercounted by 10 million.

Regardless of the actual number, the President is using the new Omicron variant to vilify the unvaccinated even more. This condemnation reached a crescendo on Thursday when Biden claimed the unvaccinated “are looking at a winter of severe illness and death.”

The problem with this type of denunciation is that it just hardens the positions of those who are unvaccinated. The resistance is not because Americans are unaware of the vaccines. The shots are continually publicized in every form of media. Americans have been offered incentives, lotteries and, most recently, threats to take the vaccine. Currently, those who are unvaccinated do not want to become vaccinated.

A much better policy would be one adopted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

He is opposing all types of mandates and advocates wide distribution of the monoclonal antibody treatments, which have FDA approval and have shown positive results.

Unlike DeSantis, Biden focuses on vaccines and mandates and never mentions natural immunity or effective treatments. For example, Biden has ordered vaccine mandates for all businesses with over one hundred employees. This mandate was initially struck down by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals but was just revived by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. The Supreme Court will eventually decide it.

If the Biden approach to the virus worked, the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths would be decreasing. Instead of switching course and stressing effective treatments, the Biden administration will double down with more hysteria and fear mongering in 2022. This weekend Dr. Anthony Fauci gave Americans a preview. He suggested that mask mandates would continue indefinitely for airplane passengers.

This is another disturbing sign that this pandemic crisis will not soon be ending.

It is too politically useful for President Biden and the Democrats. It is their only issue to maintain any hope of retaining control of Congress after the 2022 midterm elections.

If Democrats lose both houses of Congress, the Biden agenda will be officially over and none of his legislation will pass in the final two years of his term. Thus, his legislative successes in the first year, such as the American Rescue Plan and the infrastructure bill, will not be replicated in a Republican controlled congress.

Due to politics and certainly not science, Americans can expect a never-ending array of COVID mandates and warnings from the Biden administration for the foreseeable future.

Kachelman: A “Stark Warning” of National Calamity

Guest post by John L. Kachelman, Jr.

The unraveling of the American culture and society is neither a sudden nor unexpected phenomenon. What is witnessed today is the deterioration of our national foundations from folly in the past decades. A horrible reality is now appearing. The representative republic is morphing into a totalitarian state. An arrogant elite is issuing “mandates” that are enforced as legislated laws.

The anecdotal validation of this transition is undeniable. Its comedy and senselessness would be entertaining except for the escalating suffering by those in opposition. Incrementally those who live in denial of this transition are beginning to realize the evil reality. Their denial “such cannot happen in the USA,” is being exposed as unreal.

The explanation as to how and why this transition is occurring is an interesting study and will consume volumes in future historical analysis. The erosion of individuality, the advocacy of excellence and exceptionalism, and the governing by representation will be studied as hallmarks of our “history past.”

Many will read our history in unbelief. They will be perplexed as to why the citizens, of such an amazing nation, would allow such to occur. The readers will be mystified that the governing separation of powers and the checks and balances designed to safeguard our Republic, were so easily circumvented.

History will assess a weighted and damning blame to The Legislative Branch for its failure to legislate; to the Judiciary Branch for its failure to adjudicate “blind” justice; and to the Executive Branch for its glaring failure to assure that the laws of the nation (passed by the Legislative Branch and not “mandated” by “pen and phone”) are followed and that the responsibilities of government are fulfilled.

I love the way that past history charts the future and explains the present. It is undeniable. It is ignored. It is reimagined and reinterpreted. But the basic principles and outcomes of history are always the same.

Hannah Arendt is an interesting person. She preferred to describe herself as a “theorist” and not a philosopher. She is embraced by all in the philosophical spectrum. Here is one quote succinctly framing the current thinking in America: The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the dedicated communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists.

Read it again…why is it that some are so blind, or so accepting, or so insulated from today’s political, moral, religious, and social crises? Arendt answers, “These have lost the ability to discern. They confuse fact with fiction and truth with lies.”

When the ability, or willingness, of the citizens to discern is removed, they become senseless soldiers marching to the messaging of their masters. Two separate groups eventually develop—the RULERS and the RULED. The Rulers masterfully utilize fear to manipulate the Ruled into desired behaviors.

This is the essence of totalitarian governing…the Ruled do not have basic personal rights because the Rulers decided everything for them!

Illustrating this is the amazing announcement that North Korea bans laughing for 11 days during mourning for anniversary of Kim Jong-Il’s death. The North Koreans have been banned from laughing for 11 days as the totalitarian country commemorates the 10-year anniversary of the death of Kim Jong Un’s father and predecessor, Kim Jong Il. “During the mourning period, we must not drink alcohol, laugh or engage in leisure activities,” a resident of the northeastern city of Sinuiju told Radio Free Asia’s Korean Service. Even grocery shopping is banned on the exact day of the elder Kim’s death — December 17.

The average American citizen hears of North Korea’s totalitarian oppression, shrugs and says, “That’s not us. That will never happen here in the ‘home of the free.’” Such is the confession of the controlled citizen. As Arendt observes, these are “people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists.”

To validate the erosion of the freedoms once enjoyed by the citizens of the United States of America is the amazing arrogance revealed in the report Fauci Says Not to Go to Christmas Gatherings Where You Don’t Know Everyone’s Vaccination Status .

This is not a single instance in our national devolution. Repeatedly the USA citizen has been “mandated” on what to wear, who can be allowed in schools, what is taught in children’s education, where to go, what to speak, with whom to associate, what to eat, when to assemble for worship, etc. Every detail is “mandated” by the Executive Branch. This unconstitutional action has ignored the Legislative Branch and intimidated the Judicial Branch.

BUT nothing has been done to counter this totalitarian overreach by the government. Why? Because the citizens, elected politicians, and Judges in the USA today are “people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists.”

And NOW we are told that the Executive Branch is going to make a national announcement that will further add to the illegitimacy of its totalitarian governing. Tuesday night (21 December 2021) we are told, Joe Biden to Announce New Measures to Combat Omicron, Will Issue “Stark Warning” to the Unvaxxed. The RULER will speak to the RULED!

And what are your thoughts on this development? Oh wait, Arendt offers insight to how your “thoughts” impact your freedom…”The aim of totalitarian education has never been to instill convictions but to destroy the capacity to form any” (1966, The origins of totalitarianism).

And so, prepare yourself to sit and watch the “new measures” that will be forced upon those unwilling to be forced by fear to bow in submission to an illegitimate and unconstitutional Totalitarian!

Europe Certifies Crickets, Worms, And Grasshoppers As Edible Food Amid Soaring Food Prices

MONDAY, DEC 20, 2021 - 01:45 PM

Across the world, households are experiencing an exponential rise in food inflation. This holiday season, from Brazil to China to European countries to the US, households will pay near-record prices for food, which begs the question: Are households able to afford traditional food, or will they resort to substitutes to save money?

"You might be able to trade down on some things; instead of the high-priced turkeys or steaks, you might consider something less expensive on that side of the dinner table," Curt Covington, senior director of institutional credit at AgAmerica Lending, which lends money to farmers, told Bloomberg.
"But there's no escaping it: Everything on the holiday table "is just going to be more expensive," Covington said.
For example, working poor Americans have had trouble affording essential goods amid rapid inflation. A staggering 6.8% surge in consumer costs is the highest in four decades, making things like food unaffordable because wages haven't kept pace with inflation. The same is happening for households worldwide.

With that in mind, households are likely to substitute popular holiday foods with low-cost items. There's even a chance that some might resort to eating bugs and worms.

European member states certified house crickets, yellow mealworms, and grasshoppers as food fit to be sold at supermarkets.

The bugs will be sold in frozen, dried, and powdered forms and will be packed with nutrients and low-cost, according to Bloomberg. Earlier this month, the World Economic Forum published two articles explaining how people must get used to eating bugs. Those who can no longer afford meat, such as ham or turkey, and other traditional holiday foods will come to find a new substitute.

Bloomberg provides examples from across the world of how food inflation crushes holiday cheer.
Brazil: Amazon Fish Replace Pricey Imports
Fatima Santos describes her family's planned Christmas Eve supper in 2021 in one word: lean. Neither cod nor turkey—traditional centerpieces in many Brazilian homes for the holidays—will make the cut this year, the 41-year-old unemployed hairdresser said while combing the shelves for deals in a Rio de Janeiro supermarket. "Egg is the new steak in our home. Even rice and beans are super expensive," she said. That's hardly a seasonal specialty, but the staple dish might grace more holiday tables like hers as meat prices become increasingly hard to stomach.
Although the country is one of the world's largest producers of agricultural commodities, soaring demand abroad and a weak local currency are making exports more profitable, leaving less Brazilian-grown food for Brazilians at home. At the same time, this year's extreme weather—the worst drought in a century followed by an unprecedented frost—severely damaged the nation's crops, stoking inflation. Think tank Getulio Vargas Foundation calculates beef prices are up about 15% in the last year, while chicken costs have soared more than 24%.
Grocery chain Zona Sul has been trying to stock its shelves with more local products so families can avoid the worst of the inflation.

Traditional Norwegian cod is still available in the weeks leading up to Christmas, but the store is also pushing Amazon fish pirarucu for half the price. With sparkling wine imports delayed due to container shortages, the chain is discounting regional alternatives. "As purchasing power diminishes, people are looking for secondary brands," said the chain's executive director, Pietrangelo Leta.

Priscila Santana, a professional chef, usually sells rabanadas—a dessert resembling French toast—around the holidays. But she's had to boost prices this year by more than 10% on rising costs for bread, milk and eggs, plus the gasoline required to even get to the store. Despite starting sales several weeks earlier this year and accepting both credit cards and company-issued meal tickets, she's still seeing lower demand. "I expect to sell 20% less this year. Some of my clients had to give up the rabanadas to buy their lunch instead.

China: Stockpiling Sends Costs Soaring
There's plenty of food to go around in the world's most populous country, the Ministry of Commerce insists. But that hasn't stopped Chinese households from stocking up—and in some cases, hoarding—following a confusing advisory from the government in early November that encouraged people to restock essentials ahead of winter, stoking fears of travel restrictions, virus outbreaks, extreme weather or worse.

"Usually one family only needs to store one bag of flour, but now they're buying two or even three bags. Of course prices will increase," said one shopkeeper who's been selling noodles, dumpling wrappers and Chinese pancakes for almost 30 years. Speaking from behind his stall in a market in Beijing, he asked to only be identified by his family name, Zhou. "The more families hoard flour, the higher prices will go."

The 25-kilogram (about 55-pound) bags of flour he buys from his supplier are about 30% more expensive than a month ago, now costing more than 90 yuan ($14). But Zhou has raised his own selling price by less than 20%, even as the winter solstice—Dongzhi—nears, boosting demand for traditional delicacies like dumplings and noodles. "My costs have risen, but I can't really increase prices or I'll lose customers," he said.

UK: Turkey Farms Pay Up for Labor
"There isn't a product that we use on this farm that hasn't gone up," said Becky Howe, a third-generation farmer, as she watched workers guide a flock of turkeys to an open barn on the last day of slaughtering at the John Howe turkey farm outside Kent. That includes the cost of steel used to construct the barns, chopped straw for bedding, corn feed, gas, packaging cartons and even wax for the automated plucking line. The farm wasn't anticipating such inflationary pressure when it boosted the size of this year's flock by 25% and, for the first time ever, started rearing geese, too.

The greatest headache has been finding enough workers during November and December, the farm's busiest time of the year. Most of its employees are foreigners, who come to the country on temporary visa permits; the farm has boosted pay this year to retain staff. It has raised the price of its turkeys by 8%, but its own costs have gone up more. "The price increase hasn't covered everything and we've had to absorb as much as we possibly could," Howe said. "We don't want to pass on too much and scare people away from buying our turkeys."

Worried about rising prices—plus a shortage of UK truck drivers that will only exacerbate the squeeze—grocers say some families in London started buying their Christmas turkeys as early as October this year.

The demand for smaller birds is particularly high as virus fears temper optimism that extended families will be gathering again this year after a 2020 in lockdown

Romania: Priced Out of the Pig Slaughter
In the Romanian countryside, the Orthodox celebration of Saint Ignatius on Dec. 20 has followed a traditional script for centuries: Buy a pig from a trusted farmer, slit its throat, burn the skin, and clean the carcass with help from friends and family at the break of dawn. Every part of the animal—from the legs to the fat to the intestines—are then transformed into dozens of dishes to feed a household's extended family at Christmas, New Year's and every meal in between.

At least, that used to be the custom. This year, more families will just snag some supermarket sausages on their way home from work and call it a day, said Adi Rusu, a 40-year-old farmer from the village of Posta Calnau. Rusu's family has been growing pigs for 40 years, but with feed and electricity costs through the roof, risks of a deadly swine fever outbreak and customers increasingly opting for easier options, his family's talking about whether it's even worth the hassle. It's hard for neighbors to justify paying as much as 1,500 Romanian lei (about $340) for a local pig, a 50% hike over the last four to five years. At the same time, Covid travel restrictions that keep many working Romanians abroad mean downsized dinners—and little incentive to cook enough pork to eat for at least seven straight days.

"It's becoming obvious we can't eat three times more than in a regular week at Christmas," said Marioara Mihalcea, the director of meat company M&R in Iasi. "You know you can always find fresh meat on the shelves."

Rusu only had six pigs on offer this year, about a fifth of what he'd normally sell, after many of the piglets died at birth, but he decided supplementing with more piglets from commercial farms to turn a profit of only 400 lei (about $90) apiece just didn't make economic sense this year. Would-be customers are "not buying from someone else; they're going to the supermarket," said Rusu, who picked up animal farming from his father. "Those who know how to prepare it are slowly passing away, and the young are not interested in learning."

US: Cookie Season Takes a Hit
Americans, eating more butter than ever before, will find it costs them more than their waistline this holiday season. Once vilified for saturated fat, butter has become popular again as shoppers embrace high-fat diets, driving per capita consumption to 6.3 pounds in 2020, the highest in data going back to the Ford presidency. Butter consumption typically peaks in the fourth quarter, thanks to all the holiday cookies, mashed potatoes and other full-flavored traditions that grace the table. It's also soaring in price.

Spot wholesale prices for Grade AA butter are up about 40% from this time last year to more than $2 a pound. There's plenty of milk to make it, but packing and shipping have been a challenge amid widespread labor and materials shortages. Grassland Dairy Products in Greenwood, Wisconsin, recently raised its prices for supermarkets for the first time in four years. President Trevor Wuethrich cited rising cardboard expenses, trucking issues and its own decision to hike hourly wages in September in order to retain trained employees.

Some households may make the switch to vegetable-oil spreads, like margarine, to cut costs, though those are rising in price, too. Dina Cimarusti, owner of newly opened Sugar Moon Bakery in Chicago, just paid 40 cents per pound more than usual for butter in early December.

For her, subbing it out isn't an option: It's an important ingredient for many of her home-style pastries including scones, cookies and cakes.

"It's not just butter," she said. "Even my produce prices have gone up significantly since I opened," said 36-year-old Cimarusti, whose storefront debuted in September. "Unless I raise my prices, I'm obviously losing money." For now, she's holding pat. "I was just going to wait it out," she said, clad in a green apron and jeans, weighing pound-blocks of butter before dumping them into a large steel mixer for molasses cookies. "I just try to keep it affordable."
Simply put, inflation increases food insecurity that will dramatically reshape traditional holiday dishes. Some may resort to eating bugs and worms this year.

Klaus' Great Narrative: Locking The Plebs Into Plato's Cave For The 21st Century

MONDAY, DEC 20, 2021 - 02:00 AM
Authored by Matthew Ehret via The Startegic Culture Foundation,

Unfortunately for the Davos Guardians, the reality of the New Great Narrative is a world devoid of those very principles that humanity requires to survive and thrive within our creative, reasonable universe...

In case you were beginning to feel like your world was becoming a cliché dystopian movie script, don’t feel bad. It appears that at least some of the villains agree with you.

Not happy with unsatisfying stories, scripts and narratives that shape our disorganized zeitgeist, Klaus Schwab and other creepy dungeon masters trying to manage the post-covid world have called for a ‘New Narrative’ to shape our 21st century and beyond. Schwab described the World Economic Forum’s Great Narrative Initiative announced on November 11 as a “collaborative effort of the world’s leading thinkers to fashion longer-term perspectives and co-create a narrative that can help guide the creation of a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable vision for our collective future.”

It is no question that this new project is bone chilling, but can it work? Does it have any basis in reality or is the oligarchical high priesthood stage managing this shit show intoxicated by their own self-induced narratives and completely incapable of seeing the seeds of self-destruction they have created for themselves?

Let’s examine this question in a bit of detail.

As far back as we look, recorded history demonstrates myths and stories that shape each culture’s subjective experience trying to make sense of the objective world and the many tenuous challenges that are tossed into our path.

Deep Structure Narratives
An ice age comes to an end and sea levels rise hundreds of feet drowning millions while wiping out coastal cities. As a consequence, flood myths appear across various cultures of the world.

Fires from the sky reflect terrible asteroids striking the earth wrecking havoc on ecosystems and perhaps even inducing volcanism and vast weather anomalies.

As a consequence, more myths are created featuring heroes, villains, angels and Gods punishing sinners and rewarding those with virtue.

Throughout history, countless stories have been created by shamans, priests, and poets which have attempted to infuse meaning onto traumatic events induced by either nature or geopolitical strategies. Some classical stories may have even exposed geopolitical evils under the safer terrain of fiction when literal truths were impossible. One instance of this latter case can be found in the Olympian Gods of Homer’s stories who were in all likelihood representative of actual oligarchical families who manipulated never ending wars and exploited the folly and corruption of their chosen chess pieces on the Great Game of ancient Greece.

These stories are a part of the human condition and for the most part, perfectly natural.

However, in our supposedly enlightened secular era, these forms of myths are discarded as the foolish practices of simpler unscientific times.

Science has taught us to believe in logic. Not faith in God or the health of our immaterial souls.

The medieval myths of sea monsters and flat earths beyond which unsuspecting voyagers would meet a terrible fate were superseded for a new set of narratives during the enlightenment period. During this period, pure logic and empiricism were placed upon the new altars where religion once stood and we were told to worship new godheads by the names such as Kant, Locke, Hegel, Bacon and Newton. When Nietzsche proclaimed God to be dead, this was the current of thinkers that supposedly killed him.

The Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore referred to those suffering from this disease of metastasized logic saying: “A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it.”

When the foundation of enlightenment logic began to break down under the pressure of reality over a century ago, new narratives taking the form of the Standard Model quantum mechanics began teaching modern man that what appears to be living is in truth, just made up of non living atoms and chemical interactions… and what appears to be ordered form operating with purpose is merely the stochastic motion of atoms devoid of purpose, beauty or even objective truth. We were told that all of this was held together only by a mix of luck (statistical probability) and four fundamental forces created 13.7 billion years ago. All behavior in human life or in nature thus explained away by Darwinian models of survival of the fittest and random mutations. The rise of modern monstrosities like eugenics, and neo-Malthusianism were the sick children of these ghoulish assumptions.

The more we probe behind the impressive veneer of these popular narratives, the more we discover that myths spun by modern day high priests on behalf of political interests has not only continued into our present age, but have continuously adopted new costumes to adapt to our changing world. Those brilliant minds whose discoveries actually overturned old narratives by leaping beyond the domains of inductive/deductive thinking are carefully obscured under mathematical formulas devoid of the spirit and personality of these exceptional individuals (1).

The Political Consequences of False Macro-Narratives
Some political expressions of today’s secular narratives were seen as neocons trotted out in front of cameras broadcasting the message that the two hijacked planes which destroyed three towers on 9/11 was orchestrated by angry Muslims in caves who hated our freedom.

We were told that covid-19 arose from a badly cooked mammal that kissed a bat requiring a total abolition of our constitutional freedoms.

We were told that the protests of January 6, 2021 in Washington D.C. was an insurrection worse than anything the U.S.A had seen since the Civil War when 500,000 Americans slaughtered each other for four years.

We are continuously told that Russia has ambitions to undermine democratic elections across the entire free world while China is aiming to subvert western values and impose a global communist government through its imperial New Silk Road.

I could obviously go on for quite some time here, but needless to say, political myth making is an ugly part of life. But while each lie certainly does grave damage, our susceptibility to falling for these falsities is in no way disconnected from our acceptance of those higher meta narratives embedded in those scientific myths that shape HOW our minds move. Every high priest knows that controlling HOW people think is always infinitely more powerful than controlling WHAT they think about any particular thing. This is how the neocon rot grew in the U.S.A over a few generations leading us to today’s multifaceted systemic breakdown crisis.

One of the fathers of the mutant that became neoconservatism was a narrative-building master named Leo Strauss.

Leo Strauss’ Neocon Monstrosity
Working closely with Fabian Society and Frankfurt School agents throughout his career as a teacher in Columbia, New School and the University of Chicago, Strauss preached a perverse interpretation of Plato’s Republic to tens of thousands of devoted students spread across several decades.

Among the highest lessons contained in Strauss’s teachings (at least for a select few among his students) was the idea of the Noble Lie developed by Plato in Book 3 of the Republic. Strauss taught his students that this Noble Lie was the greatest weapon and rightful tool of anyone who found themselves in a position of power to rule over the weak at any time in history.

In true Nietzschean fashion, the narrow definition of “power” as the subordination of the weak to the strong was the only definition permitted by Strauss who taught his students that while Plato preached love of wisdom to the masses, he secretly held a different teaching for those elite among his Academy who would control political power. To these elite few, he gave the name ‘gentlemen’ and ‘Guardians’.

Strauss taught that Plato’s Guardians would control the shadows cast on the cave wall which the plebs shackled to their senses, would believe were the only reality possible. The mandate of these perverse neo-Platonists was to live the ideal not of Socrates, but rather of Thrasymachus whose immoral doctrine Socrates annihilated in the first book of the Republic. Those young neocons learning from their master were taught that the true ‘secret Socrates’ believed, like Thrasymachus, or Callicles (student of Gorgias), was that the highest purpose in life is to attain power, satisfy our lusts and control the shadows in the cave.

As many of Strauss’ own students (like Shadia Drury) came to realize over the years, the old master was himself guilty of projecting his own perverse penchant for fascism onto Plato as he himself maintained secret teachings for his chosen elite students as all good oligarchical head-hunters must.

Cleansing Plato of Strauss
While I adore Plato, I would never deny that he was a myth maker.

The stories showcased in his dialogues from the Timaeus, Critias, Theaetetus, Sophist, Statesman, Meno, Laws, Phaedo, Apology, Gorgias, Republic etc… have shaped the minds of some of the greatest historic figures across 2400 years of world history. Renaissance figures like St. Augustine, Ibn Sina, Erasmus, Shakespeare, Benjamin Franklin, Lincoln, Moses Mendelsohn, Pushkin, Martin Luther King Jr., and countless other brilliant souls had their wits sharpened on the stories and lessons contained in Plato’s writings.

But was Plato truly the tyrannical double-speaker portrayed by Strauss and his followers who preached morality for the weak and vice for those who would control the shadows?

To be a true Guardian in Plato’s world meant more than simply getting out of the cave to see with the light of the sun (symbolic for creative reason) and then lord over the masses.

While Nietzscheans like Strauss stop reading at this moment and choose to dominate the slaves using a higher power of thinking reserved only for a select few of the golden collar elite… Plato made it very clear in his Republic and other writings, that the TRUE philosopher (and implicitly true guardian) was obliged to return back into the cave at risk of his or her life in order to help liberate their fellow captives.

Narratives for Freedom or Slavery?
“Every artist, every scientist, every writer must decide now where he stands. The artist must take sides. He must elect to fight for freedom or for slavery. I have made my choice”
-Paul Robeson, 1937
The question can now be posed: how do we know which narratives are designed to enslave us, which empower us, and which are benign (like a child’s belief in the tooth fairy or the toy-bearing fat guy who trades gifts for good behavior)?

Since each person’s internal universe interfaces with the external reality through the filter of both logic, senses, imagination, and free will, is it possible that some narratives can uplift and inspire us to be more than we are in the face of impossible odds? Can certain stories sharpen our wisdom and free us from the shackles of sense perception as we are taught to see ever more through the eye of reason and a developed imagination?

When George Washington led a small force of farmers against the world’s largest mercenary force in 1776, was it purely logic that guided them in this statistically impossible fight, or were stories of Christ’s passion animating this seeming irrational drive for freedom? When Syria was beset with foreign sponsored Jihadists and teetered on the brink of the abyss, did stories of the Prophet Mohammed animate their hearts to do the impossible when an easier albeit more slavish road awaited their surrender?

Certainly, history has proven time and again, that a certain type of poetic story can empower us to leap beyond our limitations and gain insights into the deeper truths of the human condition and universal reality itself. Even Shakespeare’s “fictional” stories offer the sensitive soul great universal lessons into humanity and real politic which has served great statesmen for centuries.

A Last Look at Today’s Oligarchical Narrative Builders
Although we can affirm with certainty that narratives can be good and others evil, is it possible that the oligarchs managing today’s Great Narrative project wish humanity no harm?

Perhaps Lynn Forrester de Rothschild is completely genuine when she launched the Council for Inclusive Capitalism alongside Prince Charles, Mark Carney and a handful of Davos Billionaires representing tens of trillions of dollars of capital in 2014. Helping to transform capitalism into a green, eco friendly, more inclusive system that treats everyone equally is a good thing isn’t it?

When this Council merged with the Vatican in December 2020, Lynn de Rothschild described the event as “a historic new partnership between some of the world’s largest investment and business leaders and the Vatican… joining moral and market imperatives to reform capitalism into a powerful force for the good of humanity.”

This council is even led by “a core group of world leaders” who even call themselves “Guardians” following the title used by Plato 2400 years ago.

These guardians include the CEOs of powerful organizations as State Street, Bank of America, Johnson and Johnson, Rockefeller Foundation, Ford Foundation, Merck, British Petroleum, and the Rothschild banking houses. Not exactly the most morally advanced coterie of political heavy weights one could imagine, but still maybe the evil that they have been a part for decades has all been arranged for the sake of a higher good that only the elite may be permitted to know…

Unfortunately for the Davos Guardians, the reality of the New Great Narrative is a world devoid of those very principles that humanity requires to survive and thrive within our creative, reasonable universe. Wielding the power to control a shadow land of dumbed down slaves within a cave might seem impressive for some, but when juxtaposed with the active, creative multipolar paradigm now rising to become a global force for scientific and technological progress, controlling cave dwellers becomes little more than a bleak and pitiful ambition.

And like any parasite which can do naught but kill the very host it needs to suckle on for its very survival, those Davos guardians are likely to meet the same fate as that encountered by Edgar Poe’s impotent, nihilistic oligarch Roderick Usher as his castle crumbled into an abyss.

World Economic Forum In Davos Postponed For Second Straight Year

MONDAY, DEC 20, 2021 - 07:31 AM
Members of the global business elite will no doubt be disappointed to learn that the World Economic Forum in Davos has been cancelled for the second year running due to the concerns tied to the global COVID pandemic (and not - it's worth pointing out - because of all the emissions created by the private air force of PJs that travel to the remote Alpine skiing village for the annual event).

The event, which had been scheduled to take place between Jan. 17 and 21 of 2022, will instead be "postponed", according to a statement released Monday morning by the WEF.

Due to "continued uncertainty" over the omicron variant, the WEF has been forced to rethink its plans and it's now planned to host the meeting in early summer.
"Current pandemic conditions make it extremely difficult to deliver a global in-person meeting,” it said. "Despite the meeting’s stringent health protocols, the transmissibility of omicron and its impact on travel and mobility have made deferral necessary."
Instead, the global thought leaders, political leaders, and business leaders will gather for a scaled back all-online version of the speeches, talks and forums that make up the bulk of the event (which is better known for its influential parties and backroom dealings).

Last year's brouhaha was cancelled because of the pandemic, then tentatively rescheduled to take place in Singapore over the summer, before ultimately being cancelled because of the global pandemic.

The most recent annual meeting netted the Swiss economy around CHF80 million ($87 million) in 2020, with businesses and hotels taking in some CHF63 million in revenues.

Read the full statement below:
The World Economic Forum will defer its Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in the light of continued uncertainty over the Omicron outbreak.

The Annual Meeting was scheduled to take place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland between 17-21 January, 2022. It is now planned for early summer.

Participants will instead join a headline series of State of the World sessions bringing together global leaders online to focus on shaping solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

Current pandemic conditions make it extremely difficult to deliver a global in-person meeting. Preparations have been guided by expert advice and have benefited from the close collaboration of the Swiss government at all levels.

Despite the meeting’s stringent health protocols, the transmissibility of Omicron and its impact on travel and mobility have made deferral necessary.

The health and safety of everyone involved in physical meetings – participants, collaborators and the host community – have always been the Forum’s priority.

"The deferral of the Annual Meeting will not prevent progress through continued digital convening of leaders from business, government and civil society," said Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum. “Public-private cooperation has moved forward throughout the pandemic and that will continue apace. We look forward to bringing global leaders together in person soon.”

The Shadowy CIA Data Firms Behind the Creation of Digital Vaccine Passport IDs

Staff
December 17, 2021

In January 2021, tech giants such as Microsoft, Oracle, and MITRE Corporation announced their launch of the Vaccination Credential Initiative (VCI) in partnership with healthcare companies.

On their website, the VCI describes itself as an alliance of private and public organizations dedicated to the development of the ‘issuance of verifiable health credentials’ bound to an individual digital identity.

The VCI idea depends upon a common platform from which digital wallets can be created, and on the VCI website they call for “participating organizations to commit to implementing, testing, and refining the SMART Health Cards Framework within their sphere of influence.”

According to VCI, their ‘SMART Health Cards’ are meant to “work across organizational and jurisdictional boundaries.”

SMART health cards
as of now include a person’s name, gender, birth date, phone number, and email address, as well as vaccination status. Developers hope, however, that these cards will eventually become all-encompassing universal digital identities that reside within a universal digital wallet.

https://www.dailyveracity.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/tP1TGD-PXoWF45n4.mp4 1:37 min

Josh Mandel, one of the main developers behind VCI’s SMART health cards system, said once that a complete universal digital identity is ‘essential’ to the effort of creating digital vaccination passes.

On their website, the group uses the term ‘digital wallet’ often and notes that SMART Health Cards could soon be used as digital IDs for all activities, including travel and every purchase an individual makes during commercial activity.

According to the ‘about’ section on their website, the group’s members section includes corporations like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Apple, and the MITRE Corporation.

Along with the MITRE Corporation, one of the groups listed in the governance section on the website is the Commons Project Foundation, which is the main backer of the VCI and also hosts the VCI website.

The Commons Project Foundation also describes itself as a ‘private and public alliance.’

Listed on the leadership board of the Commons Project Foundation is the President of the Rockefeller Foundation, the Global Head of Performance at BlackRock, the senior managing director at the Blackstone Group, and Julie Gerberding, the former director of the CDC. Gerberding once wrote an op-ed in Time Magazine calling for an ‘International Pandemic Surveillance Network.’

There are many other heads of multilateral development banks (MDBs), former Goldman Sachs partners, UN advisers, and other multinational corporations listed on their assembly.

Final--1024x462.jpg

With the help of the World Economic Forum and the Rockefeller Foundation, the Commons Project Foundation runs the Common Trust Network. Like the Vaccination Credential Initiative and the Commons Project Foundation, the Commons Trust Network describes itself as a ‘private and public alliance.’

The World Economic Forum’s website lists the CEO and CMO of the Commons Project Foundation as Paul Meyer and Bradley Perkins respectively. Following his career at the US Center for Disease Control, Perkins was on the advisory board for the RAND Corporation, and his Partner Paul Meyer wrote President Clinton’s speeches while attending Yale.

In partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Rockefeller Foundation — as well as an almost endless list of corporations and government agencies — the Commons Project Foundation created the CommonPass.

According to the World Economic Forum’s website, just like the VCI, the Commons Project Foundation seeks to “develop and launch a standard global model to enable people to securely document and present their COVID-19 status to facilitate international travel and border crossing.”

The site states that their ‘CommonPass‘ is powered by their “CommonTrust Network™ Registry and VCI™ Directory.” and will allow individuals to document their “COVID-19 status to satisfy country or state entry requirements,” and “access lab results and vaccination records when you need it.”

CommonPass-Overview-1024x504.jpg

According to MintPress News, the cofounders of the Commons Project Foundation have a longstanding relationship with the International Rescue Committee.

In one article, Journalist Whitney Webb noted that the CEO of the International Rescue Committee developed a pilot program in Myanmar for the digital biometric identification system, supported by the ID2020 alliance. According to Webb, the ID2020 Alliance is backed by Microsoft and directly funds the Commons Project Foundation.

“iRespond, an international non-profit organization that is “dedicated to using biometrics to improve lives through digital identity,” has begun piloting a new biometric program for newborns among the predominately Karen refugee population along the Myanmar-Thailand borderThe pilot program is being conducted as part of the controversial ID2020 alliance, backed by Microsoft, the GAVI vaccine alliance, and the Rockefeller Foundation… iRespond is partnered with Mastercard, another ID2020 partner that is closely allied with the company, Trust Stamp, a biometric identity platform that also doubles as a vaccine record and payment system.”

The push for a universal digital wallet with an all-encompassing universal digital ID came long before the onset of COVID-19. As MintPress News reported last year, the very first pilot program for a digital identity platform was launched in 2018 in West Africa. Thanks to the GAVI vaccine alliance, which is funded in large part by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Trust Stamp, and Mastercard, the pilot program gained new life during the height of the pandemic.

Trust Stamp’s digital identity platform was integrated into the GAVI-Mastercard ‘Wellness Pass,’ and also linked to Mastercard’s click-to-play system. The system was also powered by its AI and machine learning technology called NuData.

Mastercard has described itself as a leader toward a “World Beyond Cash,” which is why their pay system, along with other credit card companies, plays essential roles in the push for digital IDs.

Because digital currencies are necessary for a world beyond cash, it is no surprise that Vaccine Credential Initiative member Microsoft patented technology in 2019 that could leverage body activity such as brain waves to mine cryptocurrency among other potential uses.

“For example, instead of massive computation work required by some conventional cryptocurrency systems, data generated based on the body activity of the user can be a proof-of-work, and therefore, a user can solve the computationally difficult problem unconsciously, the patent explains.

In the past few years, there has been a major push by the same dozen or so ‘private-public alliances’ toward a complete transformation of the world economy. Michael Bloomberg’s ‘New Economy Forum’ has been extensively involved in the push for this transformation. On the board of Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum is the head of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, as well as other key figures who are also involved in the push for digital IDs.

The forum is led by Bill Gates, Henry Kissinger, and Penny Pritzker, as well as a dozen other board members with ties to multinational firms like Goldman Sachs. Former Governor of the People’s Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan is on the board as well.

Screenshot-2021-12-06-215253-1160x749-1-1024x661.jpg

On their manifesto, the ID2020 Alliance describes itself as a ‘Global private-public partnership’ which brings together technologists, advocates, implementers, and funders toward a good digital ID for all.

Under the guise of ‘closing the identity gap’ for the ‘one billion people on earth’ who cannot prove who they are, the ID2020 alliance pledges to pave the way to create a universal digital identification system.

Working in partnership with Facebook, Mastercard, iRespond, Microsoft, Gavi, The Rockefeller Foundation, and others, the ID2020 Alliance says the program will ‘proceed in four phases from mid-2021 to late 2025.’ On their website, they hypothesize that the future ‘biometric digital ID’ will be linked with humans from the point of birth to the point of death.

Dakota Gruener is the Executive Director of ID2020, and launched the group in 2016, following her work at Gavi where she served as an aide to the CEO.

On their website Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance states that their group has ‘provided access to new and under-used vaccines for millions of the most vulnerable children.’

The group claims they are ‘transforming the lives of individuals,’ and helping to ‘make the world safer for everyone.’

Under the funding section of their website, the group describes Bill Gates as a founding member and says that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has donated over $4 billion to the cause to date.

“As a founding partner of Gavi, the Gates Foundation has brought international attention to the cause of immunization and has made several commitments to Gavi, totaling USD 4.1 billion to date.”

https://www.dailyveracity.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/DVExnr9tKTtHhQsf.mp4 .58 min

Another important group involved in the creation of the universal digital ID is the ‘COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition.’

Describing itself as a ‘private-public partnership’ as well, the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition says that a ‘key objective’ driving the coalition is a “substantial infrastructure to collaborate, collect, analyze, visualize, and share data and insights from close to 1,000 member organizations in a trusted and secure manner.”

On the coalition’s website, they describe their vision as an infrastructure that would quickly provide members and many other stakeholders with tools and information “they could use to make decisions on how to keep their populations safe.”

The group states that they “achieved that vision within weeks thanks to the leadership and extraordinary contributions of members.”

The group’s partner list they give credit for making this possible includes Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and CIA contractor MITRE.

Their member list also includes hundreds of other private and public organizations including the CIA’s Palantir and Diagnostic Robotics, an Israeli-based firm contracted to create contact tracing software and an “artificial intelligence platform that predicts patients’ hospitalization risk.”

According to the Times of Israel, in mid-2020 Diagnostic Robotics teamed up with Start-Up Nation Central, an organization that seeks to compel the United States into becoming more dependent on technology developed by Israel.

Likely inspired by the book ‘Start-Up Nation,’ Start-Up Nation Central was funded mostly by Jewish-American billionaire Paul Singer. Controversial for his role in the destruction of a small town in Nebraska, and the part he played in the think tank Project for a New American Century, Singer founded the organization and has funneled tens of millions of dollars into it since 2013.

Israel’s government has been closely connected to the global pandemic response and the development of tools for contact tracing and vaccine passport systems. In addition to the response to the coronavirus pandemic, the country has also been intimately involved with the planning for a global response to a potential ‘cyber pandemic.’ In partnership with ten other countries as well as the IMF and World Bank, Israel’s Ministry of Finance recently hosted a cyber pandemic exercise simulating a cyberattack on the global financial system.

Other backers of the Vaccine Coalition Initiative and groups involved with Gavi, the Commons Project Foundation, and ID2020 Alliance are Oracle and Salesforce.

Salesforce is one of the companies behind the creation of COVID 360 which uses technology developed by Diagnostic Robotics to identify individuals at risk and recommend testing or treatment based on a profile generated by the COVID 360 program.

The founder of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, is the former vice president of Oracle and a current member of the World Economic Forum’s board of trustees.

According to journalist Whitney Webb, Benioff is also a strong advocate for Klaus Schwabb’s call for a ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution.’

“Benioff is not only a member of the WEF’s board of trustees, but he is also the inaugural chair of the forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a “revolution” that its architect and WEF founder Klaus Schwab defines as a merging of humans’ physical, digital, and biological identities. Benioff is also the owner and co-chair of Time magazine, which recently ran an entire issue focused on promoting the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the WEF-backed Great Reset.”

Shadowy Groups and the Revival of Total Informational Awareness
MITRE CORP:

All of these groups are involved with each other and MITRE Corporation is intimately involved with all of these groups. Throughout its history, MITRE Corp has managed federally funded research and development centers for U.S. government agencies in the healthcare, homeland security, and cybersecurity fields.

Approximately half of MITRE’s employees work under the MITRE Labs unit, which seeks to ‘further extend the parent organization’s impact across federally-funded research-and-development centers and with partners in academia and industry.

According to Forbes, MITRE Corp also ‘runs some of the U.S. government’s most hush-hush science and tech labs.’

“Among the government’s wilder MITRE orders: a prototype tool that can hack into smartwatches, fitness trackers and home thermometers for the purposes of homeland security; software to collect human fingerprints from social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the FBI; and support in building what the FBI calls the biggest database of human anatomy and criminal history in the world.”

MITRE Corp also runs the COVID-19 Healthcare coalition with Palantir, Microsoft, Salesforce, Amazon, and In-Q-Tel, and is a major consultant for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the effort to craft ‘sweeping plans for curtailing the Covid-19 pandemic.’

The Forbes report goes into detail about the company’s extensive history of surveillance including a project the government partnered with MITRE Corp on to capture fingerprints from photos posted to social media.

“Emails and details of a Mitre contract obtained by Forbes outline a $500,000 “social media image fingerprinting project” for the FBI, which started in 2015. It was run by an FBI hacking unit in Quantico, the Operational Technology Division, and funded by a previously unreported research funding body called Triad,” reports Forbes.

MITRE-leadership-appointments-1024x600.jpg

ORACLE:

Oracle Corporation is an American multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Austin Texas and the second-biggest software development company in the US based on revenue.

Just like many of the other companies listed on the websites of these ‘private-public alliances,’ Oracle is a major player involved in the data gathering and software development necessary for future digital IDs.

Just like MITRE, Palantir, and Google — according to Gizmodo — Oracle also started as a CIA Project and takes its name from a 1977 CIA operation with the same codename. Similar to In-Q-Tel and Palantir — two groups closely involved with every aforementioned private-public alliance — Oracle’s very first customer was the CIA.

According to Gizmodo, VOX wrote an extensive exposé in 2014 detailing the birth of Oracle, without ever mentioning the company would have never existed without the help and initial funding of the CIA.

“Recognizing the potential demand for a commercial database product, [Ellison] founded the company that became Oracle in 1977,” Vox writes, conspicuously omitting the whole “because CIA wanted a relational database” part of the history.

20160808-oracle-office.0.0-800x499-1.jpg

PALANTIR:

Palantir Technologies — an American software company that specializes in big data mining and analytics — is also a member of the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Palantir was founded by Peter Thiel and Alex Karp in 2003 following the invasion of Iraq.

Sometimes credited with developing the software responsible for finding Osama Bin Laden and birthed by funding from In-Q-Tel, Palantir’s only client up until 2008 was the CIA.

According to a Forbes article from 2013, Palantir has become the go-to company for mining massive data for intelligence agencies in the last five years.

“Palantir lives the realities of its customers: the NSA, the FBI, and the CIA–an early investor through its In-Q-Tel venture fund–along with an alphabet soup of other U.S. counterterrorism and military agencies…” Forbes writes. “Palantir’s advisors include Condoleezza Rice and former CIA director George Tenet, who says in an interview that “I wish we had a tool of its power” before 9/11.”

Condoleeza Rice is also on the board of Michael Bloomberg’s ‘New Economy Forum,’ led by Bill Gates.

ACLU analyst Jay Stanley has written that Palantir’s software could enable a “true totalitarian nightmare, monitoring the activities of innocent Americans on a mass scale.”

During the beginning of Operation Warpspeed — Palantir, using its Gotham software — developed a program called Tiberius which is run by the federal government and used to collect data from US government agencies, pharmaceutical firms, and vaccine manufacturers. According to Benzinga, the Tiberius platforms was also involved in the clinical trials of the development of the current COVID-19 vaccines.

According to Tech Crunch, Palantir also built the CDC’s web app for monitoring the spread of COVID-19.

Palantir’s Gotham software is also being used by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to collect all necessary data related to COVID-19, and to ‘predict outbreaks weeks in advance.’ Palantir’s software powers the department’s HHS Protect operation and according to Science Magazine, Palantir was aggregating and managing any and all related data in regards to the spread of the coronavirus on behalf of the HHS.

HHS Protect came under fire last year after the HHS threatened US hospitals with loss of federal funding if they did not report all case and patient data exclusively to their system. HHS protect is a platform Palantir developed that would be run by another company called TeleTracking.

Yahoo News reported in October that the National Institute of Health (NIH) was also working directly with Palantir to ‘Support COVID-19 Research.’ The NIH awarded the data-mining firm with a $59.5 million contract to ‘support the National COVID-19 Cohort Collaborative.’

While the HHS teams up with various CIA-backed data mining firms, the agency is also forming partnerships with DARPA according to the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.

“That spirit of interagency collaboration is reflected in a new partnership forged between ASPR and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency – DARPA – to strengthen the capabilities needed to protect the nation from 21st-century health security threats…

The partnership agreement, signed just days before the National Biodefense Strategy was released, will focus on research, development, and deployment of medical countermeasures and advanced technologies that advance U.S. readiness to respond to health security threats. Through the new partnership, ASPR and DARPA will share data and collaborate to maximize both agencies’ impacts and investments.”

In addition to all data from HHS Protect, Palantir also has access to all UK health records following its more than £46 million in contracts with the UK government and The National Health Service of England.

In June of last year, CNBC reported that Britain gave Palantir access to sensitive medical records including patients’ names, ages, addresses, health conditions, treatments, medicines, allergies, tests, scans, and X-Ray results.

The company’s data enclave has become one of the largest collections of global health records in the world, with more than 8 million records provided by over 60 partner organizations.

According to Forbes, Palantir founder Alex Karp, is a lifelong bachelor who says that the notion of settling down and raising a family gives him “hives.”

Karp also reportedly addresses his staff using an internal video channel called KarpTube, where he speaks on a wide range of subjects like greed, integrity, and Marxism.

According to the New York Times, Karp says a lot of the decisions he makes at Palantir are driven by his experiences as a Jew.

“He told me that his parents were “hippies” and that he spent a lot of time as a kid at political protests. He intuited from a young age that his background made him vulnerable, he said. “You’re a racially amorphous, far-left Jewish kid who’s also dyslexic — would you not come up with the idea that you’re [expletive]?”…

If the far-right came to power, he said, he would certainly be among its victims. “Who’s the first person who is going to get hung? You make a list, and I will show you who they get first. It’s me. There’s not a box I don’t check.” His fear, he said, propels a lot of the decisions for this company.”

Karp’s Palantir went public following the initial onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In-Q-Tel:

In-Q-Tel was the first government-sponsored venture capital firm, chartered by the CIA, in February 1999. According to research into In-Q-Tel’s beginnings, the organization serves as a platform to expand the research and development (R&D) efforts of the CIA into the private sector. The CIA uses the firm to make strategic investments in startup companies that are of interest to the CIA and greater intelligence community.

In-Q-Tel funded the creation of Palantir and runs the COVID-19 Healthcare coalition with Palantir, MITRE Corp, Microsoft, and others. The inspiration for the firm came well before its creation in 1999 from the Pentagon’s ‘Highlands Forum.’

The Highlands Forum for decades has provided a completely ‘off the record space for the most powerful members of the ‘shadow intelligence community’ to meet with senior US government officials, alongside other leaders in relevant private industries. This private network has operated as a bridge between the Pentagon and powerful private American elites since at least the mid-1990s.

New Scientist magazine compares the Highlands Forum to elite meetings like Davos but far more influential. John Clippinger, an MIT scientist, once documented his participation in a “Highlands Forum” gathering and described it as an invitation-only meeting funded by the Department of Defense and chaired by a senior DoD post overseeing all operations and policies for the Pentagon’s most powerful spy agencies.

Google:

Few people are aware that Google was one of many projects backed by DARPA and the NSA in the early 1990s. According to reports, the early work of Google’s founders was overseen by Department of Defense officials as well as officials of other US Government agencies.

Google was a part of a series of projects consolidated into DARPA’s Information Awareness Office in the early 2000s. The Total Information Awareness Program, planned to use predictive modeling and data mining ‘to identify potential terrorists’ while Google uses similar techniques to identify products that may interest particular people based on their online footprint.

Shortly after its initiation, the IAO was later defunded right around the time Facebook became popular.

Similarly, another Pentagon project called ‘Project Lifelog‘ — which Wired Magazine describes as an ambitious effort to build a database tracking a person’s entire existence —was allegedly ‘killed’ by the Pentagon the same year Facebook was founded. Run by Darpa, the Defense Department’s research arm, LifeLog “aimed to gather in a single place just about everything an individual says, sees or does: the phone calls made, the TV shows watched, and the magazines read.”

Other projects consolidated into the Total Informational Awareness Office by DARPA are programs such as Stellarwind, Topsail, and PRISM. Around the same time of this consolidation of operations, Google used surveillance equipment onboard vehicles meant for Street View and Google Maps to tap and collect data from unsecured WiFi networks in 30 countries.

Google claimed that this data was ‘collected by mistake,’ but an investigation and subsequent lawsuit revealed otherwise.

unnamed.jpg

According to journalist Whitney Webb, Google’s extensive ties to DNA testing companies makes them a highly qualified candidate for their established position as a leader in the healthcare data collection and digital identity scene:

“Google also has close ties with the best-known DNA testing companies in the United States, such as Ancestry.com. Ancestry, recently purchased by private-equity behemoth Blackstone, shares data with a secretive Google subsidiary that uses genomic data to develop lifespan-extending therapies. In addition, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Anne Wojcicki, is the co-founder and CEO of DNA testing company 23andMe. Wojcicki is also the sister of the CEO of Google-owned YouTube, Susan Wojcicki.”

Google with the help of Verily also created ‘Project Baseline,’ which has been collecting genetic information from participants since 2017.

Project Stellar Wind was a warrantless surveillance program that began under the George W. Bush administration and was called the President’s Surveillance Program, (PSP) This program involved data mining of a large database of the communications of American citizens, including e-mail communications, telephone conversations, financial transactions, and Internet activity.

Project Topsail, or otherwise known as Project Genoa II, primarily focused on intelligence analyses with a goal to ‘develop and deploy cognitive aids that allow humans and machines to “think together” in real-time about complicated problems.’ The project is strikingly similar to technology recently patented by Microsoft.

In 2002, Tom Armour, a veteran of the Genoa project, was selected by John Poindexter to be the director of the new Genoa II program, a component of the Total Information Awareness (TIA) effort.

According to the Intelligencer, Poindexter in collaboration with Iraq War architect Richard Perle, played an essential role in the formation of Palantir.

Project PRISM was a program under which the NSA collects internet communications from various U.S. internet companies. PRISM collects stored internet communications based on demands made to internet companies such as Google under Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, which forces companies to turn over any data that match court-approved search terms.

PRISM is one of many programs that are definitely not defunct. Forbes revealed in October that an accidentally unsealed court document showed that the U.S. government is secretly ordering Google to provide data on anyone typing in certain search terms.

This process is similar to geofence warrants, where investigators ask Google to provide information on anyone within the location of a crime scene at any given time.

PRISM’s existence was leaked in 2013 by NSA contractor Edward Snowden, who warned that the extent of mass data collection was far greater than the public knew, and included what he characterized as “dangerous” and “criminal” activities

Google Chromebooks, Data Collection, and Virtual Learning
According to a national poll, for months the majority of America’s public school students were learning exclusively online, due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the poll, which surveyed more thousands of public school parents in late September 2020, 58% of students overall were learning entirely online, while another 18% were receiving a combination of remote and in-person instruction. Less than a quarter of students were learning fully in-person at the time.

But even now that students are back in school and learning in person, the majority are still using Google Chromebooks, submitting all of their work through Google classroom.

During the height of the pandemic, if a school or a student could not afford a Chromebook, Google would sometimes give them out for free via their ‘Google for Education Distance Learning Support Program.’

Many argue that the now wide use of Google Chromebooks via the platform Google Classroom is just yet another ‘front’ for the surveillance state.

Recently, the World Economic Forum called for ‘connecting every school to the internet,’ and last month America’s largest teacher’s union — which has a long history of working with IBM to drive the evolution of automated “teaching machines” — advocated for universal digitally verifiable vaccine mandates.

In early 2020, Google was sued by the attorney general of New Mexico for collecting student data through their Chromebooks.

New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas alleged the company violated the privacy of students who use free Chromebooks provided to schools through the company’s G Suite for Education platform.

“Student safety should be the number one priority of any company providing services to our children, particularly in schools,” said Balderas. “Tracking student data without parental consent is not only illegal, it is dangerous, and my office will hold any company accountable who compromises the safety of New Mexican children.”

Since then another class-action lawsuit was filed against Google for the same reason.

The suit, filed by an Illinois father, alleges the tech company has illegally ‘collected, stored and used the personally identifiable biometric information of children under 13 years old who use the “G Suite for Education” platform on ChromeBook laptops issued to certain schools nationwide.’

Your Fertility and the Covid Shot – Laying the Groundwork

by Blaise Vanne | Dec 21, 2021 | Healthcare, Politics

Before we look at the science, and the doctors speaking out about possible fertility issues, we need to examine if there is something underneath and behind what we might uncover in the science. If there is, we will need to pay heed to what Dr. Michael Crichton (who wrote Jurassic Park) once noted: As Alston Chase put it, ‘when the search for truth is confused with political advocacy, the pursuit of knowledge is reduced to the quest for power. Crichton, in turn, only echoes what Soren Kierkegaard wrote a couple of centuries ago: In the end, all corruption will come about as a result of the natural sciences. Here, Kierkegaard was not dissing science or the scientific method, but rather corrupt scientists, misusing their tools.

This interview where Dr. Chris Martenson, Ph.D., in pathology from Duke University, interviews Dr. Peter McCullough, who is the most published doctor in history in his field of cardiology, and has been editor of several major medical journals: In discussing the Lancet with its retracted fake “studies” on hydroxychloroquine, which turned out to be produced by a shell company, with unverified data gathered by non-scientists (including, purportedly, one person involved in the porn industry). Dr. McCullough says (11:45 mark) his international team started to see, early on in the pandemic, some things we didn’t like in the New England Journal of Medicine, as well as Lancet, including fraudulent papers.

“Fraud” and your healthcare. Not two words you want to see together. These journals – and recall, McCullough himself has been the editor of more than one major medical journal – should have had multiple reviewers, associate editors, editorial meetings, etc. All of this was skipped, short-shifted and worse… and per McCullough, these lapses – in his own words – looked intentional (18 min. mark). ]
Alternatively, think places like Harvard University, Duke University, Mayo Clinic – all have zero protocols in place on how to treat Covid, even as of interview time Dec. 2021.

Thomas Malthus. Remember That Name
Is there a depopulation agenda behind the Phase IV trials Covid shot?

There is one single assumption to understand here, first put formally in writing by Thomas Malthus of the British East India Company in his 1798 book An Essay on the Principle of Population: viz., the human population grows exponentially, food production grows arithmetically. On that simple one postulate hangs trillions of dollars, and perhaps hundreds of millions of lives. Similar to philosopher Alfred North Whitehead’s comment that all philosophy is a footnote to Plato, everything that follows below is simply a variation on a theme of Malthus’ motif.

I have not been invited recently to any of Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forums, nor do I get invites to the Davos confabs; I am also not regularly invited to consult with self-admitted Nazi collaborator George Soros. But suffice to say, it is neo-Malthusianism animating these people. People who believe that mouths matter more than minds, rather than the converse, and the same ones who gave us, e.g., the “Great Horse Manure Crisis of 1894,” where the Times of London told its wide-eyed readers that 50 years from that date that every street in London would be buried under nine feet of manure.

Calling these people out is not a guess or an accusation. Rather, it is plain public record, and has been for decades. To wit: From the 1974 Club of Rome report titled, Mankind at the Turning Point, it is succinct: The real enemy then, is humanity itself. The link is there – easy enough to verify to your satisfaction. And their solution was simple – engineer a massive population reduction and utterly change the socio-economic system through centralized planning, using total government control. Oregon governor Kate Brown’s permanent mask mandate anyone? No? How about Covid police states Australia and New Zealand?

Basically, as is becoming increasingly apparent, this reduction in both population and our economic output would be achieved utilizing a merger of fascism and cultural Marxism, which I call “fasco-Marxism” (fascism and Marxism are historically cousins, as most of you know). This “man is the enemy” was reiterated by the Club of Rome again in 1993 when they stated in their First Global Revolution – downloadable here for your own review and verification – that In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill….All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.
The worldview articulated here has been around for a long, long time. It’s just that now they appear to have both the money, and the dumbed-down blue state population, to carry out their genocide.
A conclusion had already been reached, and now they needed to create a “reason” to push their unsupported – as Julian Simon demonstrated in the famed Julian Simon/Paul Ehrlich wagera priori assumptions. Covid and its ugly step-sister global warming is just another fake crisis to stampede fear-driven herd in flyover country off the buffalo jump to achieve an end desired by the controllers.

What is in the minds of the Malthusians? As Robert Zubrin observed, to them … each new life is unwelcome, each unregulated thought or act is menace, every person is fundamentally the enemy of every other person, and each race or nation is the enemy of every other race or nation. It is more broadly put in economic terms by the World Wildlife Fund Living Planet Report of 2012, which Lewis Page summarizes in the May 16, 2012 edition of the Register that economic growth should be abandoned, (and) citizens of the world’s wealthy nations should prepare for poverty. Us hoi polloi in flyover country, of course, are especially bad, as the Education for Sustainable Development Toolkit, by Rosalyn McKeown, tells us:

Generally, more highly educated people who have higher incomes, consume more resources than poorly educated people, who tend to have lower incomes. In this case, more education increases the threat to sustainability. Of course, individual rights are verboten, too, given the Malthusian threat to the earth. Now can you see why much of Europe and the anglosphere have had a heavy hand applied to them by the Covid Stasi, and where that Stasi metaphor in Australia and New Zealand is now almost literal?

None of this is new. In 1988, Prince Philip – perhaps speaking for myriads of the elite – stated in an interview with Deutsche Press Agentur: The more people there are, the more resources they’ll consume, the more pollution they’ll create, the more fighting they will do. We have no option. If it isn’t controlled voluntarily, it will be controlled involuntarily by an increase in disease, starvation, and war. …In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation. I will refrain from commenting as to whether his recent death did, in fact, actually allow him to do what he had hoped!

But here is the key point: As the American Institute for Economic Research, in the Simon/Ehrlich wager, the Malthusians lost. The wager was conducted again, and again the Malthusians lost. But of course, we might have guessed this, as we know from 150 years ago that neither is London covered with 100 meters of horse manure now. The question is: why?

The answer is simple: Minds matter more than mouths. In fact, God, in His prevenient grace, has provided just enough knowledge to accommodate for the natural population growth He commended. But if this is not true, you necessarily must adhere to the “solution” below.

I Love Humanity; It’s People I Hate
Influential, leading thinkers of recent years, such as Finnish writer Pentti Linkola, want to reduce earth’s population to 500 million – exactly as the Georgia Guidestones also tell us. Writes Linkola, recapitulating Malthus: What to do, when a ship carrying a hundred passengers suddenly capsizes, and there is only one lifeboat? When the lifeboat is full, those who hate life will try to load it with more people and sink the lot. Those who love and respect life will take the ship’s axe and sever the extra hands that cling to the sides. And of course, America is the core of Linkola’s problem: The United States symbolises the worst ideologies in the world: growth and freedom. And mimicking Woody Allen at Obama’s election, who said it would be good if he could be a dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly, Linkola triples down by writing: Any dictatorship would be better than modern democracy. There cannot be so incompetent a dictator that he would show more stupidity than a majority of the people. The best dictatorship would be one where lots of heads would roll and where government would prevent any economic growth. … Our only hope lies in strong central government and uncompromising control of the individual citizen.

As James Delingpole observes about Lincola’s – and a thousand others like him – comment: See: It’s perfectly OK to fantasize about the deaths of maybe 5 billion people – as long as you show at the end that you really care: you’re thinking about humanity.
Truth is, to many, as Stalin purportedly said, The death of one man is a tragedy; the death of a million is a mere statistic. In other words, this is exactly what we are seeing right now from our Deep State betters. But in our kinder, gentler dystopia, they will not be using Robespierre’s guillotine, Hitler’s Xyclon-B, or Stalin’s gulags, but rather the silent screams of, say, retirees in nursing homes put on ventilators away from the “prying eyes” of their loved ones, or the fetus that never takes its first breath due to miscarriage.
Compare Linkola to a time when people valued human dignity, such as the sinking of the Titanic, where the engineers working on the boilers stayed at their posts after the ship hit the iceberg, frantically attempting to pump water out of the ship until a rescue ship might arrive. Once they knew all was lost, they stayed to prevent the boilers from exploding and killing others, and to keep the lights on so as many as possible would have illumination to find their way to the lifeboats. All 25 of the engineers died at their stations, trying to save others. Compare this to Linkola chopping off hands on his Titanic.

Is This Just Nutty Europeans? Hardly
But it’s not just nutty Finns who have drunk the Flavor-Aid (By the way, it was Flavor Aid, not Kool-Aid, that the Jim Jones death cultist drank.) On the other side of the Atlantic, Dr. Eric R. Pianka, University of Texas, in a lecture to fellow scientists, students, and professors a dozen or more years ago, stated that 90% of the world’s population needed to be killed using a weaponized form of the Ebola virus. He stated that an airborne version of Ebola would be more effective than the HIV/AIDS virus has been because of the speed at which the victim dies.

Pianka also spoke positively of the death the bird flu could bring, and spoke of the need to Sterilize everyone on earth at this lecture. This is the same Mengele-like professor Pianka who also shouted. We’re no better than bacteria! at one of his lectures (in this case, as least as it applies to his moral reasoning, he may have been correct!)

Meanwhile, Simon Ross, head of Population Matters, has stated population shrinkage is the cheapest and surest contribution to sustainability that we know of.

Fellow misanthrope Rob Hengeveld, in his book How Our Consumption Challenges the Planet, proposes a less drastic reduction, allowing a world population of 1 billion. Even our dear Mikhail Gorbachev said We must speak more clearly about sexuality, contraception, about abortion, about values that control population, because the ecological crisis, in short, is the population crisis.

Cut the population by 90%, and there aren’t enough people left to do a great deal of ecological damage.
And presumably, if the poor, unwashed masses won’t do it voluntarily, then it would be best for our betters to give them a firm nudge, right?
Perhaps most revealing is Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, and his famed article in The Atlantic a few years back, Why I Hope to Die at 75. Simply ask yourself why was this published, and why was the lead for Obamacare, in charge of the health outcomes for the elderly, putting out a trial balloon like this?
It appears Pianka has gotten his wish, both about a virus, as well as having everyone sterilized. I’ll leave it to you, gentle reader, to figure out if this all came about intentionally, or accidentally, where some bat who had intimate relations with a pangolin a few 600 miles from its natural habitat and landed in some poor shlub’s won-ton soup in a wet market.

Death by Government
In fact, the late Dr. RJ Rummel of Univ. of Hawaii (tough job, but someone had to do it… right?) noted in his Death by Government site that up to 170 million were murdered by their own governments last century. Similarly, Courtois, et al. writes in The Black Book of Communism, published by Harvard Univ. Press, that perhaps 100 million were murdered by communist governments last century.

Can it really be a stretch that we may see at least that many today dying at the hand of some kind of government action?

Incidentally, the Malthusians might want to get a clue, as even a dozen or more years ago, between 30 and 50 percent of all food produced globally, equivalent to two billion tons, was thrown away each year, according to a report written by the UK-based Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IME), titled Global Food; Waste Not, Want Not. Of course, the Malthusians are doubly wrong, as even reliably PC Time Magazine told us years ago: …it turns out the world’s population isn’t growing nearly as fast as it once did. In fact, experts say the rate of population growth will continue to slow and that the total population will eventually — likely within our lifetimes — fall.”

Of course, you, dear reader, know where I am going with this: Is the Covid shot a depopulation agent? Certainly, if nothing else, you have reason to be suspicious, given what I have shown above! In speaking about inflation, the famed John Maynard Keynes, in The Economic Consequences of the Peace, wrote By this means (inflation), the government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft. Truth is, the Malthusians are attempting to take a page from Keynes’ steal operations book. As we examine the scientists speaking out about the issues with women and overall human reproductive health, keep in mind the possible “whys’ behind what you will be reading.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? (Who controls the controllers? Or literally for Latin nerds, “Who will guard the guards themselves?) – Roman poet Juvenal, Satire VI, lines 347-348.

Vax Passports: The Medium Is the Message
by Michael Riches
December 21, 2021

As the concept of vaccine certificates began tickling the fancy of certain segments of the public last spring and summer, opponents reliably invoked Orwell in response to what came to be called “freedom passports,” “green passes,” or other such cute names.

The public intellectual that came to my mind, though, was Marshall McLuhan.
McLuhan coined his renowned maxim, “The medium is the message,” in 1964’s Understanding Media, which became a bible of sorts for a subculture of college-aged nerds and beatniks who were coming to terms with a new era overwhelmed by mass communication.

McLuhan was not solely focused on the effects of traditional media. His media theory begins with the messages conveyed by everyday objects. He explained how a medium’s message extends beyond its content — a garden in front of a house might have flowers as its content, but its message could be, “Respectable people live here.”

Look at the cards in your wallet. What do they say? A driver’s licence has content, but in certain environments it says, “I am of drinking age.” A platinum credit card has numbers and color as its content, but might broadcast a more powerful message than a driver’s licence — it could tell the person serving you to treat you with deference.

A vaccine certificate likewise has a simple amount of content, but with greater and more potent messages. Users will say that these objects simply say, “I am safe.” When arguing that the unvaccinated are foolish, selfish, stupid, libertarian, or right wing, many passholders likely hope on some semiconscious level that the certificate also broadcasts their intelligence, ethics, and political leanings — that it says, “I did the right thing, therefore I deserve entry.” If this does not describe you, if you are using your pass reluctantly, there are others who see your pass as well as their own much differently.

This is what has made the vaccine certificates so incendiary. They contain messages of social and moral superiority that have been inflaming tensions, conflict, acrimony, and occasional violence throughout Western nations.

As these certificates were readying for their debut in Canada last August, I assumed that asserting my opposition in a Facebook post wouldn’t be that controversial. But if anyone on my list of 280 or so friends supported me, they stayed silent, while others rose to strongly differ. One acquaintance who works for a socialist NGO didn’t understand how the right to enter shops and restaurants could be considered a civil liberty.

We all know the arguments by now, and it doesn’t take much guessing what else was said in that particular Facebook thread. The comparisons to driver’s licenses and seatbelt laws, the need to wipe Covid off the face of the planet, and such. It was my first exposure to what has become familiar to anyone who argues against green passes and mandates — the circular debate in which the ostensible public health argument, when shown to be reactionary and without scientific backing, devolves into a call for punishment and ostracization. “If these people won’t do the right thing for society, they don’t deserve the same daily privileges I do.” When pressed on whether this punishment goes too far, the argument loops back to the defeated public health position: “I deserve to be safe in my workplace,” despite having been fully vaccinated.

But it’s always the “punishment” that the green-pass proponents fall back on: “Your vaccine protects you from the unvaccinated.” Yes, but I could get a breakthrough infection. “But the chances of a breakthrough landing you in hospital are astronomically low.” Yes, but I could then pass it on to an immunocompromised person. “As you admit, vaccinated people can carry and transmit the virus. So the green pass is not doing much good.” Look, these people are anti-science right-wingers. They’re thoughtless and selfish. If they don’t want the vax, then good riddance.

This shows that we are now certifying morality, perhaps a historical first. We are also doing something else modern societies have never practiced: mandating that a product be consumed rather than restricted. Whether or not you believe this is for a necessary purpose, we must admit these truths, and that we never would have tolerated such practices up until a few months ago.

Vaccine certificates are without doubt holding one group of people accountable for not reaching the same moral conclusion as another. Let’s accept the position that two societies are up for offer: One being the world of overcrowded hospitals and burnt-out healthcare workers; the other a world of conflict where everyone from restaurant servers to employers to politicians to the police are kicking people out of diners, firing workers, sending people into segregated camps, tear gassing and cracking skulls of mandate protesters, where millions of friendships and family relationships are fractured by arguments in which only one side is considered valid and righteous.

Neither world is desirable, but there are those who would legitimately risk Door #1 to avoid Door #2, including many physicians and healthcare workers.

There are yet others who would argue that healthcare workers signed up for a job in which overcrowded hospitals are a regular occurrence and occasional hard-hitting pandemics were expected. Vax-pass proponents have in fact shown their hand by gleefully accepting the firings of hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers in the midst of what is said to be an unprecedented healthcare crisis. If we have the luxury of picking and choosing which workers are “safe” to be around patients who are either vaccinated or are already infected with Covid, then perhaps this argument about the unvaccinated collapsing our healthcare systems — which I once found convincing — is not as serious as is being stated.

As for my freedoms, I did not get vaccinated to take part in a formal scapegoating program that has led to an artificially more violent, aggressive, and polarized society. A person using a green pass must now live in moral relation to the unvaccinated, an imposed anxiety that itself is a strange loss of psychological freedom (unless the thought is perversely enjoyed). As well, my autonomous decision to do my part for society is invalidated by a document that at the very least adds a bureaucratic hassle to my life, and at the most forces agreement to a principle I despise — making visible targets out of a minority of citizens.

Whether or not the vaccines are safe or worth taking chances with is not the point. I have my own opinions about the range of Covid vaccines available around the world, and I am convinced by the scientific literature that shows certain levels of occasional harms to specific groups of people. I have taken the one I felt most comfortable with given my age, gender, and health status. But since I have the right to refuse certain Covid vaccines in favor of the brand I trust, I would be a hypocrite to say that someone else does not have the right to distrust the brand I took, or any other.

I would like to think that ethics cannot be dictated to the individual, but as we have discovered, it is now being done. Keep in mind that unvaccinated people are not breaking any laws, which is why the green pass compliers must act as extrajudicial arbitrators and enforcers. To understand that point, a person driving without a licence would be dealt with by police, not hectored and moralized at by other drivers; tax cheats would get their day in court, not have their manager forced to fire them without trial. The unvaccinated are having their concerns tried in the court of public opinion and are being sentenced by their neighbors.

The original intent of the certificate system was to keep the unvaccinated out of the bagel shop or the public swimming pool, which was bad enough, but the growing punishments now include termination of employment, and some countries such as Austria and Germany have descended to considering fines and imprisonment to force the consumption of a product many believe to be unsafe.

Although countries such as the UK, the US or Canada might not have reached such extremes (yet?), it’s not difficult to see how certificates in these places could be extended to bank accounts, driver’s license renewals, home insurance premiums, or apartment leases. Impossible, you say? Where we are now was considered impossible a year ago, unthinkable two years ago.

From the beginning of this program, no consideration was ever given to how vaccine confidence and uptake could be encouraged without coercion, or whether passes and mandates are resulting in vaccination rates not much different than would occur voluntarily. Many researchers in the social sciences have said that Covid certificates can have the opposite effect than intended, and this can be attributed to the fact that people resent having their morals dictated to them.

Just as McLuhan said that “the medium is the message,” it is just as true that “the passes are the point.” The goal was only ostensibly to increase vaccination rates and reduce healthcare burdens, but the medium of the green pass contains messages that are intoxicating to large segments of the population. Carrying a vaccine certificate and exhibiting it several times a day allows the holder to demonstrate virtue and moral superiority to his or her community. This certification of “ethical supremacy” is what has allowed the public to accept the stigmatization and ever-increasing extrajudicial punishments of a newly identifiable minority.

Another McLuhanesque message of the green pass is that a vaccine is the only tool to overcome the pandemic. As such, I would question the morality of a society that ignores prevention and treatment options for those who are suspicious of the “new tech” Covid vaccines but are otherwise willing to take other vaccines.

For instance, established flu vaccines and the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine have been shown to greatly reduce the effects of Covid and cut hospitalizations, as has daily low-dose Aspirin use. These options have never been discussed or encouraged as alternatives for those wary of the Covid vaccines. Neither has there been any meaningful effort to promote health and fitness as a way to keep immune systems in shape and ready to battle disease, as has been common in government health promotion campaigns in non-pandemic times.

Similarly, the public and media at large have not jumped on the monoclonal antibody therapy bandwagon with the same fervor as vaccination. While manufacturing and distribution would be current barriers to global uptake of this product, the existing supply is nonetheless suppressed by bureaucratic roadblocks and a lack of will on the part of Western leadership to prioritize this highly effective option to beat back Covid.

I could go on. The bottom line is that vax-pass societies seem to want the unvaccinated to remain vulnerable, get sick, and become visibly hospitalized rather than stay healthy by means not involving a Covid vaccine.

This state of affairs allows the green-pass advocates to maintain documentation of moral superiority, yet it is the fixation on a limited selection of vaccine brands to the exclusion of other treatment and prevention options that itself could be judged as immoral. However, the morality of accepting a wide variety of treatment and prevention options cannot be easily documented, as there is no singular medical ritual to undergo.

Some governments and political bodies have been making principled stands against vaccine certificates. Japan has outright rejected the concept, with its health ministry bluntly advising its citizens and businesses to “not discriminate against those who have not been vaccinated,” while the British Liberal Democratic Party says that “the use of so-called ‘vaccine passports’ provides a false sense of security.” Taiwan, where I live, has also ruled out the use of such vaccine documents for public socializing.

While this provides some hope, such principles can be abandoned under pressure from the public or perhaps corporate lobbyists. It was only five months ago that Canadian leaders on the left and the right were objecting to vaccine certificates. The provincial health officer for British Columbia’s leftist government, Bonnie Henry, stated unequivocally:
“This virus has shown us that there are inequities in our society that have been exacerbated by this pandemic, and there is no way that we will recommend inequities be increased by use of things like vaccine passports for services, for public access here in British Columbia. That’s my advice and I’ve got support from the premier.”
Alberta’s conservative premier was also dead-set against green passes. Both provinces flipped. There must be dozens of other examples of such rapid conversions throughout the West.

I suspect there is a large portion of the public, perhaps a majority, holding vaccine certificates merely out of convenience because this is “the new normal,” without necessarily being certain of the document’s usefulness. While I don’t want to lay down a lecture, I’m hoping that increasing numbers will begin to see that there is a connection between flashing a green pass to enter a gym and allowing artificially created inequities and conflicts to continue growing worldwide.

When you see this cartoon from the daily German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung showing a man playing a video game called Covidstrike, in which he shoots unvaccinated people to bloody deaths (“a big hit under the Christmas tree”), you might be disgusted and say, “Well, that’s someplace else, and people here would never advocate violence like that.” I would respond: Firing unvaccinated people would have been considered impossible last year.

What comes next year? Once you identify a minority and single it out for discrimination, no matter how noble the intention might have originally been, all bets are off. Violence is possible.

Are green passes worth stoking this kind of conflict? If I had been fired from a job for refusing a medication that I don’t need to want, whose usefulness in preventing disease spread was highly debatable, I might become angry enough to lash out in some way as well. Using a green pass to have drinks with friends has a direct link to this new world of strife, confusion, and alienation.

Many innocent parties will experience some form of discrimination themselves when they follow a medical practitioner’s incorrect advice on a booster schedule and a bureaucrat renders them technically unvaccinated, or when a green pass system crashes and leaves them unable to get into a coffee shop or board a plane.

Having lived in Taiwan for nearly three years, where Covid has been scarce and vaccine rollouts delayed, I can only speculate how I would have reacted to the pandemic and the introduction of vax certificates had I remained in Canada.

I am certain that I would have rushed to take the first Covid vaccine available, based on my feelings last January. I am also certain that I would have refused to use a green pass when they took effect in September. Or I would have used a paper version that I would have framed on cardboard with a message of protest — “I don’t fear the unvaccinated,” or “This is a fascist document” — and used it scarcely.

What each person does with their vaccine certificate — enjoy it, use it with protest, refuse to go anywhere that requires it — is an individual choice. I just hope that a growing number of people wake up to what the green pass truly represents, and realize that countries and other jurisdictions that don’t use them are on average not doing worse in battling Covid, all the while avoiding social strife. And the places that do use passes are in the midst of a disturbing experiment.

The medium of the green pass broadcasts a message that is tearing our societies apart. It’s time to turn this medium off and find a new message after everyone steps back and contemplates what has been done.

Inside the Omicron fear factory

Public health chiefs and the media are working overtime to gin up hysteria

In March 2020, a profile of the typical Covid victim emerged from Italy. The average decedent was eighty years old, with approximately three comorbidities such as heart disease, obesity or diabetes. The young had little to worry about; the survival rate for the vast majority of the population was well over 99 percent.

That portrait never significantly changed. The early assessments of Covid out of Italy have remained valid through today. And so it will prove with the Omicron variant.

The data out of South Africa, after five weeks of Omicron spread, suggest that Omicron should be a cause for celebration, not fear. Its symptoms are mild to non-existent in the majority of the infected, especially the vaccinated; hospitalization rates are over nine times lower than for previous Covid strains; deaths are negligible. That assessment will only be confirmed as the US and other western countries gather their own data on Omicron.

Yet the public health establishment and the media are working overtime to gin up Omicron hysteria. The official response to the Omicron variant provides a case study in the deliberate manufacture of fear. The following strategies are key:

1. Create a group norm of fear
The media want you to believe that everyone around you is scared out of his mind, and thus you should be, too. Man-on-the-street interviews quote Nervous Nellies exclusively. A December 17 New York Times article headlined “As Virus Cases Surge, New Yorkers Feel a Familiar Anxiety” trotted out a parade of paralyzed city residents:

“Monday I wasn’t even thinking about [Omicron], and Thursday I’m in a panic,” said a fifty-nine-year-old woman on the Upper West Side. A teacher at Manhattan’s New School confessed: “It’s literally all I’ve been thinking about. I’m really heartsick and worried.” A thirty-six-year-old woman in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, said: “It’s scary — it feels like we’ve been here before.” A sixty-two-year-old woman in Queens reported that her travel and outing days were over: “I’m going to go home, I’m going to stay home and just keep to myself.”

It is not a coincidence that these sources are all female, since females have been the driving force behind safetyism’s conquest of American public policy and of the American mind. Their dominance in corporate HR departments helps explain the constant deferral of back-to-work plans and the restrictions that dominate what little remains of office life.

At Dow Jones, for example, green signs now designate certain desks as “usable;” red signs mark the pariah desks as unusable. Workers who plan to come into the office must be assigned a “usable” desk each day in advance of arrival. The permissible capacity of conference rooms has been shrunk to the point that normal meetings are nearly impossible.

Are there any New Yorkers who are not panicked? Presumably, but you would not know it from the Times’s and other outlets’ coverage. Needless to say, dissenters from Omicron fear in the rest of the country are beneath notice. The point of these one-sided quotes is to spread and normalize panic as the only reasonable reaction to the variant.

2. Buttress group fear with expert opinion
The only public health experts whom the media quote are those determined to put the most dire spin on Omicron. They stress worst-case hypothetical scenarios and dismiss actual good-case evidence. At best, they may grudgingly admit that Omicron symptoms are disproportionately mild, but rush to assert that there are still many as-yet unrealized grounds for worry. “Even if Omicron causes less severe cases, the sheer number of cases could once again overwhelm unprepared health systems,” the director-general of the World Health Organization said. “I’m not counting [Omicron’s lack of severity] as good news just yet,” a disease ecologist at Georgetown University said. “Even if infection is mild in many individuals, it’s not going to be mild in everyone.”

But that 100 percent mildness standard is unrealistic. There are outliers in any disease and any treatment; the question is: what is the predominant reality? The zero-risk, zero-harm standard for public policy adopted for the first time with Covid has proven a social, economic and public health disaster.

At worst, the favored experts do not even pay lip service to the evidence militating against panic. An epidemiologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill told the New York Times: “I think we need to be prepared for the possibility that this could be at least as bad as any previous wave that we’ve seen.” There are apparently no circumstances which would warrant a less-than-totalitarian response in advance of any actual disaster. The yearning for more draconian lockdowns and more control over the private sector is palpable.

3. Manufacture epistemological uncertainty and insist on that uncertainty as long as possible
The media intone repeatedly that much remains uncertain about Omicron, including how likely it is to cause severe disease. But we already have a good picture of that likelihood from the South Africa experience: very unlikely.

Nevertheless, the director of the influential Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, Christopher Murray, is determined to assert that we know little to nothing yet: “The most challenging question is severity,” he told the Times.

4. Bury both good news and dissenters from the bad news
The South African data should lead any coverage of Omicron, yet it has barely been reported. Though only 27 percent of the country is fully vaccinated, less than two percent of new cases are requiring hospitalization. And that number is undoubtedly too high, since many reported Covid hospitalizations were admitted for reasons other than Covid. In countries such as the US with much higher rates of vaccination, the breakthrough infections from Omicron will be even milder.

Omicron will be an ideal vehicle for achieving herd immunity, conferring protection without tears on the vast majority of the infected.

The South African doctor who first reported the Omicron variant has declared herself “astonished” by the world’s reaction to the new strain, which is “out of all proportion to its risks.” “Patients typically present with muscle pain, body aches, a headache and a bit of fatigue,” Angelique Coetzee wrote in the Daily Mail on December 13. “After about five days [those symptoms] clear up, and that’s it.”

The only patient with severe symptoms whom she has seen over the last month had HIV, pneumonia and other comorbidities.

Coetzee has been nonexistent in the non-conservative press. Just as we are supposed to believe that everyone around us is universally spooked, so we should believe that there is an unbroken expert consensus about the likely disaster that is Omicron. European health officials are warning of an Omicron spike, we are told. State and local health officials are urging that holiday gatherings be held outdoors and that all participants get vaccinated, boosted and tested; partygoers should wear masks. Are there no experts who think that Omicron is not an emerging threat? Apparently not, if you read the mainstream media. If any dissenters do break through, they will be as demonized and silenced by Big Tech as the lockdown skeptics in the scientific community were at the start of the Covid era.

5. Omit relevant context
We hear constantly that 1,300 people are dying a day from Covid. By comparison, about 2,000 people die each day from cancer, and 1,600 from heart disease. Their deaths get no coverage. Covid was the leading cause of death in the US only in January 2021, even among those eighty-five and older. Since then, it has ranked as the third most frequent cause of death both in the overall population and in the elderly.

To read the press coverage, however, you would think that nothing approaches Covid in fierce lethality and that all public resources should be directed to stopping its spread, no matter the costs to the education and socialization of children, to physical and psychological health, and to economic opportunity.

Restrictive Covid policies exacerbated sickness in the highest-ranking categories of mortality, a toll that will only grow. Patients put off life-saving cancer screenings, having been spooked away from medical facilities. Obesity worsened, as gyms were shut down and people barricaded themselves at home, packing on the pounds. Those ever-bigger fatties will be tomorrow’s coronary casualties and Covid victims.

Even those 1,300 daily Covid deaths are an overcount, since public health reporting counts deaths with Covid as deaths from Covid. Someone who was dying already from cancer will be deemed a Covid death if he happens to contract that more newsworthy disease at the end of his life. Someone who dies of old age will also be counted as a Covid fatality if infected at death. The average life expectancy in 2019 was less than seventy-nine years. But the New York Times’s maudlin Covid obituaries report the deaths of nonagenarians as Covid fatalities, as if those oldsters would have otherwise lived indefinitely. A ninety-one-year-old jazz pianist was included last week in the “Those We’ve Lost” series, even though he was a stroke victim with numerous longstanding health problems which the Covid virus merely exacerbated.

6. Flog the case count
If the media is obsessing about case count, it means that Covid deaths have been a terrible disappointment. Covid death rates have plunged over the last year and are barely budging in the post-Omicron era. But case counts are a particularly deceptive measure of pandemic severity, when so many of the new cases are mild to asymptomatic. And despite the concerted effort to generate hospital horror stories, hospitalization rates in New York City, the leading wedge of Omicron, remain comparatively low. Covid hospitalization numbers are themselves deceptive, for the same reason as Covid death counts: being admitted to a hospital with Covid is treated as being admitted for Covid.

Monday’s winning entry in the fear-generation sweepstakes went again to the New York Times. A front-page article outlined the anxiety felt by New Yorkers with what once were considered ordinary attributes of a winter cold. “The symptoms of the common cold are typically a stuffy head, the sniffles and body aches,” opened the story. “Now, this season, there’s a new one: panic.”

The usual female sources detailed their terror at the possibility that their runny nose may be Covid. But their illness is equally innocuous either way; labeling it as Covid does not make it any more serious. In fact, they should be delighted if their mild discomfort proves to be Covid (as I was when I tested positive for a breakthrough infection): it means that their immune system has been greatly bolstered against potentially more dangerous future variants, via a sickness that in many cases, such as my own, is far less taxing than a cold.

Nevertheless, the fear-mongering is paying big dividends. Like clockwork, events and businesses in New York City are shutting down, extending the demand for and dependency on government hand-outs.

Radio City has canceled its entire Christmas run of the Rockettes; expect Mayor Bill de Blasio to pull the plug on the Times Square New Year’s celebration.

Broadway shows are booting out already seated audiences if a last-minute test shows just one cast member or technician positive for Covid.

Office parties were called off, depriving caterers of vital revenue. Restaurant reservations are being withdrawn, dashing the industry’s hope for recouping some of its earlier shut-down losses.

Return-to-work schedules are being shelved and entire offices put back on remote work, another severe setback to the revival of midtown Manhattan.

The Metropolitan Opera has announced that no patrons will be allowed inside its cavernous, energetically ventilated auditorium next year unless they have received a booster shot.

Outdoor mask-wearing in Manhattan is back up to about 90 percent, based on informal observation. Masked residents of buildings where virtually everyone is vaccinated are refusing entry to the elevator to their fellow residents (also masked), as if a three-second ride to the lobby will provide enough viral dose to be infectious. Grown men are using their knuckles to press elevator buttons.

Perhaps the rest of the country, particularly in red states, will act more rationally towards Omicron. But here in the epicenter of blue-state dominance, we have turned the equivalent of the common cold into a potent weapon against the resumption of civil society.

Biden energy crisis: Decreased supply, rising prices buffet America at home and on world stage
"We became energy independent, and the first thing that Joe Biden did was just destroy that independence," Sen. Ron Johnson said.

Updated: December 21, 2021 - 10:45pm

Experts tell Just the News an energy crisis caused by diminished domestic supplies and rising prices will continue and affect everything from the cost of meals at the dinner table to geopolitical events impacting national security.

Peter Navarro, former Trump White House director of trade and manufacturing policy, told Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon on a special report with Real America's Voice that despite using about "2 million barrels of oil a day less than we were prior to the pandemic," America can't meet the demand.

The reason for that "is a dramatic, policy-induced reduction in production," said Navarro, referring to the Biden administration's energy policies.

President Biden signed an executive order banning oil leasing on federal lands, which, Navarro said, is illegal and will lose in court. Then, when the president starts leasing again, the administration will "set the prices and terms so unfavorably that oil companies really aren't going to want to purchase the leases," he said.

Trump administration Interior Secretary David Bernhardt said that the Biden "administration, from day one, began an aggressive effort to threaten the current production of energy resources and harm the future production of those resources."

In addition to banning oil leases on federal lands, Biden stopped construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, Bernhardt noted.

While former President Trump had freed the U.S. from depending on OPEC for oil, the Biden administration is "depending on the Middle East for the supply of energy, which harms our economic security and our national security," said Bernhardt.

The Biden administration's energy strategy is "to increase the cost of energy," said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.). "That is their policy. They don't like fossil fuel, they don't want America to drill for it. So when gas prices are high and cause political pain to them, they go begging the Saudis to drill to make up the deficit in terms of American production.

"We became energy independent, and the first thing that Joe Biden did was just destroy that independence. So no, this is their policy — this is the exact result they want. They can't be honest about that, but they're getting exactly what they want — higher energy prices, higher gasoline prices.

"When you increase the cost of energy, you are increasing the cost of every good, whether it's, you know, plastics that are based on oil or gas, or any kind of carbon fuel, or just transporting any other good. It just all leads to higher prices.

But this is exactly what they want. They're just not going to be honest about it.

Nor is the media going to be honest about it."

Referencing the border crisis and U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, Johnson added, "our biggest risk is the fact that no matter what Biden is doing, it is weakening America."

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen said that his state's agriculture is negatively affected by higher energy prices because both the cost of fuel and fertilizer are increasing as a result. Natural gas is used to make the nitrogen for fertilizer.

"Here in Montana, we're told this winter to expect between a 50 and 60% price increase in natural gas — that applies to farmers as well," Knudsen said. "And that applies to the supply chain in fertilizer. And this is really going to hurt Montana agriculture and national agriculture. And that's going to affect the price that you ultimately pay for a loaf of bread at the grocery store."

The Keystone XL pipeline that Biden canceled was going to bring property tax revenue to the state and create over 4,000 jobs, Knudsen explained. Now, he laments, the pipeline is being pulled out of the ground.

"Unfortunately, that company has walked away from that project completely," he said.

The energy crisis also makes America more vulnerable to its enemies, Knudsen warned.

"[W]e're in a situation right now where the Biden administration has choked down our own domestic oil production and natural gas production," he said. "And we're now literally asking our enemies, countries that hate us — openly hate us — 'Please, sir, may we have some more? Please open your spigots, and sell us more of your oil.'

"This just puts us in a very difficult position, just strategically. I'm no military genius, but it doesn't take a degree from the War College to understand that you're funding our enemies and asking our enemies for a strategic resource that they know we need, because we're not producing it here domestically."

Rockefeller Foundation Planning to Communize (and Weaponize) the Global Food Supply

Rockefeller Foundation Planning to Communize (and Weaponize) the Global Food Supply

A report from the Rockefeller Foundation called “Reset the Table” (sound familiar?) calls for a total centralization of the global food supply in order to solve the “hunger and nutrition crisis.”

The Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) plandemic increased hunger in children by more than 500 percent, the report alleges. And the only way to solve it is for food to be communized and controlled entirely by a global central government.

Dr. Rajiv J. Shah, the foundation’s president, admits in the opener that calls to globalize the world’s food systems is “not new.” Globalists have been pushing for it for many years, and only now, thanks to the Fauci Flu, is it finally within reach.

None of the aggressive measures proposed in the report would have been possible were it not for the widespread destruction of society and its supply chains caused by Chinese Virus lockdowns and other fascism.

The report of course puts things differently, suggesting that the plandemic was an unfortunate and unexpected curveball that now requires a total transformation of the world’s systems. The reality is that the plandemic was planned in order to accomplish these longstanding goals of the globalists.

“Reset the Table” is simply one piece of the overall “Great Reset” that was put forth by World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab. It is a communist dream finally coming to fruition.

“The U.S. food system’s very specific kind of efficiency has also brought rigidity and costly impacts on human and environmental health – alongside high levels of wasted food,” the report contends.

“Disparities in access to healthy food – and lack of affordability of nutritious food compared to less healthy alternatives – were outcomes of where agricultural subsidies and supports were targeted, and where research and development dollars were spent.”

Rockefeller Foundation blames lack of food communism for “covid” deaths
The current food system was apparently “problematic” long before the Fauci Flu magically appeared just when the globalists wanted it to. The plandemic simply brought it all to light, claims the Rockefeller Foundation.

In other words, covid is now being used by the globalists to claim that the current food system is broken and must be taken over by a global central government in order to make it “fair” and “equitable.”

“The same communities already struggling with nutrition insecurity not coincidentally found themselves at increased risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death from Covid-19,” the report claims.

“Long before Covid-19, farm and meatpacking laborers had among the highest worker injury rates and were among the most poorly paid of any occupation, with 50 percent of employees undocumented and unprotected.”

The report goes on to suggest that calling meatpacking plant and other food system workers back to the job during the early days of the plandemic – rather than let them stay at home forever – led to them getting sick and dying from Chinese Germs.

“Grocery clerks and stockers have similarly been on the frontlines of Covid-19, where many work in direct contact with potentially infectious customers without the necessary personal protective equipment,” it further reads.

“Hundreds of thousands of migrant workers, who also lack many basic fair workplace protections and access to health care, play an essential role in our food system but are among the most vulnerable.”

Reading between the lines, it becomes apparent throughout the report that the plandemic really is the cover story for the pre-planned Great Reset, which has been in the works for many, many years.

The goal all along was to create a “crisis” (problem), followed by a response (reaction) and remedy (solution). It is classic manipulation and social engineering in action.

Bad News for Biden: Electric Vehicle Market May Be Doomed Due to One Rare Mineral

By Abby Liebing December 22, 2021 at 12:57pm

Electric car manufacturing is running into a hiccup as the price of one key material is rising. This will also cause problems for President Joe Biden and his administration, as they were planning on growing the electric car industry in order to promote sustainability.

The price for lithium, a key material for electric car batteries, is skyrocketing.

In the past 12 months, the cost of lithium has gone up more than 250 percent, according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, meaning the price of batteries is going up as well.

Overall, there has been a downward trend in the pricing of battery packs over the past several years. Research by the Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, shows that the price of a vehicle lithium-ion battery pack declined 87 percent between 2008 and 2021.

But that does not make battery packs cheap.

Trending:

The cost of electric vehicle battery packs is about $132 per kilowatt hour (kWh), Electrek reported at the end of November. The average Tesla battery pack has a capacity of 100 kWh, which means a battery pack would cost over $13,000.

Generally, $100 per kWh for a battery pack is the benchmark price necessary for electric vehicles to be cost-competitive with gas cars.

At Tesla, one of CEO Elon Musk’s goals is to produce a $25,000 electric vehicle, Bloomberg reported. That is about $15,000 cheaper than the current Model 3, which is the cheapest car Tesla has on the market.

But producing a cheaper model is difficult when the raw and necessary material of lithium is so expensive. At the beginning of the month, the price hit about $31,395 per ton, according to Benchmark’s Lithium Assessment.

These cost problems are also going to cause political problems, particularly for the Biden administration.

To promote sustainability and climate responsibility, the Biden administration is looking to electric cars to help make a big impact.

That is why the White House unveiled an electric vehicle charging plan of action. Electric cars are great, but there has to be a charging infrastructure to support them. So, the Biden administration took the lead.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law includes a plan that outlines how federal agencies will pitch in to develop the charging infrastructure, according to a press release from the White House.

“President Biden has united automakers and autoworkers to drive American leadership forward on clean cars, and he set an ambitious target of 50 percent of electric vehicle (EV) sale shares in the U.S. by 2030. Now, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will supercharge America’s efforts to lead the electric future, Building a Better America where we can strengthen domestic supply chains, outcompete the world, and make electric cars cheaper for working families,” the press release said.

The price tag on the “EV Charging Action Plan” is about $7.5 billion, with $5 billion slated for funding for states to build a national charging network and $2.5 set aside for “communities and corridors through a competitive grant program that will support innovative approaches and ensure that charger deployment meets Administration priorities such as supporting rural charging, improving local air quality and increasing EV charging access in disadvantaged communities.”

Electric vehicles are not a bad idea. So far, they appear to cost less in maintenance, as Axios reported. And it’s undeniable that they are genuinely better for the environment. But the cost of electric cars is still prohibitive enough that the dreams of them replacing gas cars are still just that — dreams.

With that in mind, the Biden administration’s plan to spend another $7.5 billion to build the infrastructure should cause some hesitation.

If electric cars were already affordable and prolific, then spending the money to build the infrastructure for them would be a different discussion. But with prices where they are now, and especially with lithium costs increasing, it seems that it may be a few more years before we reach the point of electric cars dominating the market.

Green energy firms the biggest corporate welfare recipients ever

No other industry in American history has ever received this lucrative a paycheck
Stephen Moore

By Stephen Moore | Fox News

How much would solar, wind and electric vehicle companies have gotten in federal handouts and tax loopholes in President Joe Biden's Build Back Better bill? Well over $100 billion in taxpayer largesse. If all the tax credits are included, that number could reach half a trillion dollars. No other industry in American history has ever received this lucrative a paycheck.

The folks at the Institute for Energy Research calculated that this is on top of the more than $150 billion in subsidies these industries received from Uncle Sam in the last 30 years.

The umbilical cord to taxpayer wallets never gets cut. Yet, laughably, the left says all these subsidies to "green energy" are necessary for an "infant industry."

Really? Does Big Wind or Big Solar ever grow up? Incidentally, our ancestors were using windmills and solar panels during the Middle Ages.

So why do these renewable energies get so much money from Congress, and why do Democrats want to give them the biggest payday in the history of the Washington favor factory? Not because renewable has great promise. Thirty years after the handouts started, wind and solar accounted for less than 8% of our total energy production. It's inconsequential.

Tucker exposes the hidden impact of green energy on 'The Five'
Video
6:36 min

If we taxpayers are "investors" in green energy, we'd be wondering where our return is at this point. Wind and solar costs are going down, but not nearly as fast as the cost reductions in natural gas, thanks to the shale revolution.

But now the left is trying to save its latest round of gargantuan welfare checks by arguing that the higher costs of oil and gas at the pump show that these energy sources prove that we can't rely on fossil fuels.
Oil and gas prices are rising because Biden and the left have declared war on American fossil fuels.
It is reminiscent of the story of the boy who kills his parents and throws himself at the mercy of the court for being an orphan.

Oil and gas prices are rising because Biden and the left have declared war on American fossil fuels. They aren't allowing drilling. They instead are passing new "methane" taxes and not building pipelines.

Now liberals shake their fingers at the producers and accuse them of gouging consumers as they assault the added American oil and gas supply that would lower the prices to fill up your tank and heat your home. They are now starting a multimillion-dollar ad campaign in Washington, paid for by taxpayers, telling us that the high gas prices the Biden administration wants mean we have to stop using gas.

Graham: Build Back Better will destroy energy production if it becomes law
Video
7:17 min

The irony of all of this is that the reliance on green energy subsidies is one good reason for so little technological progress in renewable energy. We'd perhaps see more innovation if the industry had to fight on a level playing field.

Democrats in Congress keep doling out the dollars because the green energy industry gives 90% of its contributions to Democrats. It is nothing more than a pay-to-play gambit.

If wind and solar are the low-cost energy sources of the future, why do they need so much government aid? Will they ever take the training wheels off?

After three decades, maybe it is time to admit the obvious: Wind and solar are niche energy sources that will not anytime soon, and probably never, provide anywhere near the energy we need for our $22 trillion industrial economy.

Germany's Reaction To The Energy Crisis Could Be Catastrophic

FRIDAY, DEC 24, 2021 - 10:30 AM
Authored by Julianne Geiger via OilPrice.com,
  • Germany's determination to go green despite an energy crisis in Europe could significantly impact the country's energy security
  • While power prices in Europe have been soaring and natural gas prices have begun to drop, Germany is refusing to change its energy policy
  • Specifically, it is Germany's decision to phase out nuclear power and accelerate the phase-out of coal-fired plants that has confused analysts
The European gas crisis has hogged energy headlines for months. But that hasn’t stopped Germany from retiring half of its nuclear capacity by the end of the year and pushing an accelerated phase-out of its coal-fired plants by 2030. And for Germany’s energy security, it could spell disaster.

The commitments to greenifying Germany’s grid are noble. Unfortunately, they also appear ill-timed, as German baseload power for 2022 delivery—a European benchmark—hit a brand new contract high of 278.50 euros. This is an increase of 10%, as gas flows through a pipeline that brings natural gas from Russia to Germany switched direction to flow Eastward.

But soaring power prices and sagging natural gas prices haven’t knocked Germany off its green ambitions—and it could have bigger ramifications than many realize.

Coal and nuclear power, now on the ropes in Germany, rose in prominence this year, accounting for a larger percentage of Germany’s overall energy mix compared to 2020, BDEW said this week.

The rise in nuclear and coal-fired power was due mainly to lower wind speeds and increased demand.

Coal and nuclear energy made up 40% of the overall energy mix in Germany. Meanwhile, renewables fell to 41% of the mix. Still, Germany is stuck on kicking its coal and nuclear habit—coal because it’s dirty, and nuclear because of Fukushima. The decision to retire the latter was made shortly after the Fukushima disaster, but since then, coal use has risen to fill in the gaps left by nuclear.

This year, Germany plans to shut down the Grohnde, Gundremmingen C, and Brokdorf nuclear plants, which will leave Germany with just three. Those final three will be retired by the end of next year.

For coal, Germany has agreed to phase out coal by 2030—up from its previous goal of retiring coal in the country by 2038.

These two moves alone put Germany, gasping for energy, in a precarious position. But there’s more.

Germany also has a plan to kick its natural gas habit, with plans to end power generation from gas by 2040. Currently, half of all German homes are heated with natural gas. By 2026, a ban in Germany on the installation of heating in new homes using any type of petroleum products will go into effect in favor of heat pumps that draw electricity from the grid.

This would be the grid that is currently struggling to supply power to its people, and the grid that currently relies 40% on nuclear energy and coal-fired power that is set to be retired.

Germany’s decision to phase out nuclear power is Germany has puzzled analysts, who argue that phasing out the zero-emissions created by nuclear power while relying on natural gas and coal-fired power (at least for now) seems counterintuitive. Add to that the current predicament that Germany finds itself in being short on natural gas, and analysts are puzzled even more. In addition, nuclear power has served as a rather reliable fill-in for renewables that rely on the intermittency of sun and wind—an intermittency that has been brought to light this year more than ever.

These rising power prices in Europe are fueling inflation, and Trafigura has warned that Europe could experience rolling blackouts if this winter turns out to be a cold one. Meanwhile, natural gas flows from Russia are a big question mark, with tensions over Nord Stream 2 and Russia’s possible invasion of Ukraine exacerbating Europe’s power situation.

Rolling Blackouts Spread Across Europe Amid Energy Crisis

FRIDAY, DEC 24, 2021 - 09:17 AM

Europe's energy crisis worsened this week when Kosovo introduced rolling blackouts to most of its two million citizens, according to Bloomberg.

On Thursday, the Kosovo Energy Distribution Services (KEDS) announced rolling two-hour power blackouts for 2 million people due to an "overload" of its electrical grid.

KEDS asked customers to reduce power given "insufficient internal generation to cover consumption and the global energy crisis."

The Balkan country, Europe's poorest nation, experienced a technical issue at its largest coal-fired power plant that had to shut down last month, which forced the government to import electricity at high prices.

Simultaneously, Serbia was forced to cut electricity to customers, Britain's network operator issued a power supply warning, and France's nuclear plant outage, all culminated into a perfect storm of straining the continent's grid, resulting in reduced power supplies and exorbitantly high prices.

1640395428697.png

Last week, Kosovo's economy minister, Artane Rizvanolli, said the shuttering of the nation's main coal-fired power plant had worsened the energy crisis. He said power imports were "extremely costly."

Grid data from Entso-E shows electricity imports from Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia plunged from 750 megawatts on Wednesday to about 469 megawatts on Thursday.

Jeremy Weir, CEO of commodities trader Trafigura Group, warned that more European countries could face rolling blackouts in the event of a severe winter.

Eleven European associations (from steel to fertilizers to cement to paper mills) published a memo Thursday indicating energy-intensive companies are paying "unbearably high energy prices" that may force them to shutter operations.

However, there is good news for the continent as benchmark Dutch front-month gas plunged as much as 43% from a peak of 180 euros per megawatt-hour to around 102 euros in the last several days as a flotilla of US liquefied natural gas (LNG) tankers is headed to the fuel-starved continent.

More good news is that weather forecasts for Germany will turn milder. This will help keep a lid on gas prices.

Europe remains caught in its worst energy crisis ever as some relief is on the way, but the worst may not be over as the Northern Hemisphere winter has just begun.

The Great Reset Hits Christmas

by Dr. Joseph Mercola
December 24, 2021

The Great Reset Hits Christmas

STORY AT-A-GLANCE
  • Thanksgiving gatherings were discouraged once again in many parts of the U.S., and many government leaders are now urging residents to cancel their Christmas celebrations too
  • The global response to the COVID-19 pandemic has little to do with the spread of an actual virus, and everything to do with the planned global takeover and implementation of a technocratic agenda known as the Great Reset
  • Mask mandates, social distancing, business shutdowns and online working and learning are all forms of “soft indoctrination” to get us used to a way of life devoid of our rights and freedoms
  • While the Great Reset plan is being sold as a way to make life fair and equitable for all, it’s really a wealth redistribution scheme that transfers wealth from the working class to the technocratic elite
  • The mass vaccination and boosters-for-life agenda are part of the technocratic coup underway
While lockdowns were supposed to be temporary — initially just a couple of weeks to “flatten the curve” — nearly two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s no end in sight. Thanksgiving was once again canceled in many parts of the U.S., and many government leaders again urged residents to cancel their Christmas celebrations too. The latest “Omicron” mutation has given bureaucrats additional reasons to unleash their power and raise panic.

What many still don’t realize is that the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic has little to do with the spread of an actual virus, and everything to do with the planned global takeover and implementation of a technocratic agenda known as The Great Reset.

Universal mask mandates, social distancing, business shutdowns, online working and learning, and quarantining of asymptomatic individuals are all forms of “soft indoctrination” to get us used to an entirely new, and unfathomably inhumane, way of life devoid of our usual rights and freedoms.

The Other Klaus
Klaus Schwab is the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. Schwab announced the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset Agenda in June 2020,1 which includes stripping people of their privately owned assets.

In addition to being a poster boy for technocracy, Schwab also has a strong transhumanist bend, and wrote the book on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a hallmark of which is the merger of man and machine, biology and digital technology.2

According to Winter Oak — a British nonprofit social justice organization — Schwab and his globalist accomplices are using the COVID-19 pandemic “to bypass democratic accountability, to override opposition, to accelerate their agenda and to impose it on the rest of humankind against our will.”

Greatest Wealth Transfer in History Is Underway
While the Great Reset plan is being sold as a way to make life fair and equitable for all, the required sacrifices do not apply to the technocrats running the system.

On the contrary, as noted by Patrick Wood in an interview with James Delingpole, the wealth distribution and circular economies promoted by the technocratic elite will never benefit the people, because what they’re really referring to is the redistribution of wealth from the people, to themselves.

Evidence of this can be seen in the decision to allow big box stores to remain open during the pandemic while forcing small businesses to close, no matter how small the infection risk.

There’s really no rhyme or reason for such a decision, other than to shift wealth away from small, private business owners to multinational corporations. More than half of all small business owners fear their businesses won’t survive.3

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the collective wealth of 651 billionaires in the U.S. rose by more than $1 trillion (36%).4 To put their current wealth in perspective, not only did the number of billionaires in America swell to 745 during the pandemic, but their assets grew by $2.1 trillion.5

According to the online newsletter Inequality, “The $5 trillion in wealth now held by 745 billionaires is two-thirds more than the $3 trillion in wealth held by the bottom 50 percent of U.S. households estimated by the Federal Reserve Board.”

As noted by Frank Clemente, executive director of Americans for Tax Fairness, “Never before has America seen such an accumulation of wealth in so few hands.”6

That’s technocratic wealth redistribution for you. Ultimately, The Great Reset will result in two tiers or people: the technocratic elite, who have all the power and rule over all assets, and the rest of humanity, who have no power, no assets and no voice.

That the COVID-19 pandemic is a form of class war is also evident in the way rules are enforced. While citizens are threatened with fines and arrest if they don’t do as they’re told, those who lay down the rules repeatedly break them without repercussions.

What Vaccines Have to Do With It
If you need more evidence that we’re in the middle of a technocratic takeover, look no further than the mass vaccination agenda and the promotion of fake, lab-grown meat. Bill Gates, another frontline technocrat, has repeatedly stated that we have no choice but to vaccinate everyone against COVID-19.

Naturally, he’s heavily invested in said vaccine and stands to gain handsomely from a global mass vaccination campaign. Technocrats are nothing if not self-serving, all while pretending to be do-gooders — much like COVID Claus in our little video.

Eventually, your personal identification, medical records, finances and who knows what else will all be tied together and embedded somewhere on or in your body.

Every possible aspect of your biology and life activities will be trackable 24/7. You will also be digitally tied into the internet of things, which eventually will include smart cities.

All the different parts of this giant population control grid fit together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. The global vaccination agenda ties into the biometric identity agenda, which ties into the cashless society agenda, which ties into the social credit system agenda, which ties into the social engineering agenda and so on.

When you follow this experiment to its ultimate conclusion, you find all of humanity enslaved within a digitized prison with no way out. Those who rebel will simply have their digital-everything restricted or shut down.

Fake Meat Is Part of the Reset Too
The rise of fake, lab-grown meat is a puzzle piece of The Great Reset agenda too. According to the World Economic Forum, lab-grown, cultured meat is a more sustainable alternative to conventional livestock, and in the future, we’ll all be eating a lot less meat. As noted on its website:7

“As the world looks to reset its economy, along with food systems, in a cleaner way post-pandemic, one more sustainable solution coming to fruition is cultured meat … Cultured meat takes much less time to grow, uses fewer of the planet’s resources, and no animals are slaughtered.”

But don’t think for a second that this has anything to do with environmental protection. No, it’s about controlling the food supply and preventing food independence.

Already, multinational corporations have taken over a majority of the global food supply with their patented genetically engineered seeds. Patented cultured meats and seafood will allow private companies to control the food supply in its entirety, and by controlling the food supply, they will control countries and entire populations.

Public health will undoubtedly suffer from this dietary switch, as canola and safflower oil8 are primary sources of fat in these fake meat concoctions.

Vegetable oils are loaded with linoleic acid (LA), an omega-6 fat that, in excess, acts as a metabolic poison, causing severe mitochondrial dysfunction, insulin resistance, decreased NAD+ levels, obesity and a radical decrease in your ability to generate cellular energy.

Our LA consumption 150 years ago was between 2 and 3 grams per day. Today it is 10 to 20 times higher. If fake meat becomes a staple, the average LA intake is bound to increase even further.

Make a Christmas Vow to Undo The Great Reset
The Great Reset is well underway, but it’s not yet too late to stop it. Enough people have to see it and understand it, though. And then they must act. If we want to prevent The Great Reset from destroying life as we know it, we must view civil disobedience as a duty. We must resist it from every angle.

We must reclaim our sovereignty, our right to live free, to open our businesses and move about freely. We must communicate with our elected leaders and demand they not infringe on our constitutional rights. We have to engage in political processes and help educate our local sheriffs of their role as defenders of the constitution. We may also need to support legal challenges.

A small step in the right direction that you can take right now would be to celebrate Christmas like you normally would this week, and not allow the Klaus Schwabs and Bill Gateses of the world rob you of valuable time with family and friends.

There are no guarantees in this life, and for many, this will be their last Christmas. So, spend it well. Cherish life by actually living it and spending it with those you love. Refusing to give up our humanity is how we resist The Great Reset.

Chaos & The Triumph Of Survival

SATURDAY, DEC 25, 2021 - 11:45 PM
Authored by Egon von Greyerz via GoldSwitzerland.com,

One of the most horrifying works of art is Bruegel’s “The Triumph of Death” painted in 1562. The painting depicts the end of life on earth.

I sincerely hope that this is not what the world will literally look like in the next decade or two but metaphorically this is not an unlikely depiction of the chaos that could hit us all.

For a detailed description of the grim painting see here

The Black Death plague of the 14th century, which killed up to half of the world’s population, clearly had a major influence on the painter.

The moral message is that when chaos hits, the destruction will affect everyone, rich and poor, young and old. No one will escape by power or devotion.

The financial, economic and moral devastation which is about to hit the world will for more than 99.5% of the people come out of the blue like a flash from a clear sky.

For most people, coming events will thus be like the definition of the word CHAOS: “A state of total confusion and disorder”.

CHAOS NUMBER 1: COVID
Talking about disorder, just like the Black Death that inspired Bruegel’s painting, the world is now facing a global pandemic. But rather than the nearer 50% of global population that perished in the mid 1300s, today we are looking at total deaths from the current pandemic of 0.06% of the world population! And even that figure might be overestimated due to the classification rules applied.

For that minuscule percentage the world has now been paralysed for the third year soon.

There are lockdowns, quarantines, compulsory vaccines with unlined boosters, covid passports, closed schools, closed offices, major industries like leisure haemorrhaging, airlines going bankrupt, shortages of labour, components, products, closed borders, and for the few people who dare to and can travel across borders, more bureaucracy, paperwork and tests than in a police state. At the same time money printing and credit creation have gone exponential.

The politicians obviously blame the scientists for all the rules that they force upon the people.

It is interesting that with almost 200 countries in the world, each country has different rules how to deal with covid. If all these rules were based on science, you would have thought that the rules would have been the same for all 200 countries.

Or could it be as many observers believe that the politicians use the pandemic to their own advantage.

Or is it more likely that neither the scientists nor the politicians have got a clue how to deal with a disease that creates hardly any deaths in excess of normal deaths?

In Sweden for example, there has been no lockdown, no quarantine, no closed shops, no mask requirement and industry has operated normally. Covid cases and deaths are at the lower range of the European average. Hmmm – so much for all these punishing rules in most countries.

We were told that the vaccines would solve the problem but two shots haven’t so far as we were promised. So now everyone needs a booster every few months.

With Big Pharma being both judge and jury plus benefiting from their own advice to the extent 100s of billions of dollars, how do we know the real truth?

As an example, I have a 19 year old vaccinated granddaughter who had Covid in August. Now she has got Covid for the second time, fortunately in the form of a normal cold. The government/scientist solution is clearly more vaccines at ever more frequent intervals. And still no one has properly tested the long term effects the vaccines have on our bodies. There just isn’t time for that!!?

The consequences of these constant changing of rules and shutdowns will clearly have a devastating effect on an already very fragile world economy and financial system.

CHAOS NUMBER 2: GLOBAL DEBT
So if scientists and governments haven’t got a clue how to deal with Covid, we can at least assume that central bankers and governments have got the economy and the financial system under control.

How wrong can we be?
Ever since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913, central and commercial bankers have successfully been running the financial system for their own benefit. But what really gave them carte blanche to print unlimited amounts of money was in August 1971, when Nixon closed the gold window. Since then, President Thomas Jefferson’s cynical view on bankers have really come to pass.

How incredibly prescient the above statement is. We must remember that the Fed is a private bank that totally controls the US financial system. And as long as the US dollar remains the reserve currency of the world, the Fed also controls major parts of the global financial system.

Jefferson will also be right regarding inflation and deflation. The current financial system is now entering a phase of inflation, most probably leading to hyperinflation as I have discussed many times in my articles.

But before this financial system ends, the totally worthless debt must be destroyed through a deflationary implosion not only of the debt, but also the bubble assets financed by printed money created out of thin air.

So a deflationary depression is likely to be the end of yet another failed experiment of a fiat money system which was doomed the day it was created on Jekyll island 111 years ago. Jefferson of course told us this would happen already over 200 years ago.

If history teaches us anything, it is that no one learns from history and everyone thinks it is different today because we are here.

Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose – The more it changes, the more it stays the same.

So back to Bruegel. An implosion of the financial system and consequently the global economy will clearly have major repercussions for life on earth.

We must remember that NEVER BEFORE IN HISTORY has there been a global debt crisis of this magnitude.

Never before have debt bubbles at this level in Europe, in North and South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania synchronised at the levels we are now experiencing.

Just look at the magnitude of debt which has been created since 1971.

It took a few thousand years to get to a global debt of $1.5 trillion in 1971. And 29 years later debt had grown 66x to $100 trillion and since then it is up another 3x to $300T.

So when the shackles were thrown off by closing the gold window in 1971, there was a free for all between bankers and governments to create unlimited amounts of money.

And by golly they have succeeded! Global debt is up 200x since Nixon took away the gold backing of the dollar and all other currencies.

As regards the $3 quadrillion debt in 2030, I will comment later in this article.
The very final stage of this monetary era started in 2006 with the Great Financial Crisis. Tens of trillions of dollars printed, lent and guaranteed managed to patch up Humpty Dumpty temporarily.

But it was very clear to me and some other observers that the patch would not last long. So back in September 2019 the financial system came under severe pressure and central banks panicked in an attempt to save the bankrupt banking system with massive liquidity. Conveniently for the banks, they had an excuse for this money printing since Covid started a few weeks later.

Normally governments need to start a war to have an excuse to print serious money. But a pandemic created in a lab works even better.

The world is now in totally unchartered and very precarious waters. A ship in such danger does not require more than a minor storm to be hit by irreparable damage.

Nobody can forecast what will happen since we have nothing to compare with.

But what is very likely is that the creature (from Jekyll Island) that has been created by bankers and governments will reach a terrible fate – a fate that only future historians can tell the world about.

CHAOS NUMBER 3: DERIVATIVES
Global derivatives outstanding were reported by the BIS in Basel (Bank of International Settlement) at $1.4 quadrillion in the mid 2000s. That figure was conveniently reduced by the BIS to around $600 trillion at the end of the 2000s by netting positions.

Banks like Deutsche or JP Morgan have reported gross outstanding derivatives of $40-50 trillion.

But all banks net the gross amounts of derivatives down to insignificant levels, arguing that these low and totally misleading amounts are their real exposures.

Well, the bankers can fool some of the people some of the time but in the end we know who the real fools will be!

The problem with netting is that when counterparties fail, gross risk remains gross.

Derivatives have been a most incredible money spinner for banks and other financial entities. There are today so many opaque ways of creating and hiding derivatives from the official reporting that no one has a clue of the real amount outstanding. But it could easily be in the quadrillions of dollars.

Remember that virtually every financial instrument created today consists of derivatives, whether it is ETF stock or bond funds, interest rate swaps, forex swaps, mortgage loans etc, etc, the list is endless.

Derivatives function very well in an manipulated orderly system when there is constant demand. But when the music stops and liquidity dries up, only then will we know the real amounts outstanding.

One of my very good contacts is an excellent interpreter of the risks in the system. He has created these inverse pyramids with the current financial system at the bottom resting on a small amount of gold with massive debt on top.

Above that we see the known derivatives reported by the BIS of $600 trillion and on top of that the opaque financial system which is likely to be in the quadrillions of dollars.

No one knows the exact amount but it could easily be $2 quadrillion and probably more.

CHAOS NUMBER 4: TIMEBOMB
So if we look into the next 5-10 years and paint a picture of what could happen to the financial system, the risk the world is facing is horrifying.

Global debt will certainly grow from $300t to at least $500t. That figure is really a gross underestimate

We add to that global unfunded liabilities (pensions, medicare etc) which are easily $500 trillion.

Finally we add the derivatives of $2 quadrillion – also probably too conservative.

When counterparties fail, central banks will need to print all that money to prevent banks from failing.

So if my assumptions are right, global debt will have grown from $300 trillion to $3 quadrillion in the next 5-10 years.

But I will probably be wrong on many accounts, like it won’t take as long as 10 years. We know from history that hyperinflation goes very fast. Also, most of the estimates of debt and derivatives are probably much too low.

Still, let’s assume that the world is now facing a timebomb of $3 quadrillion. A very frightening prospect indeed.

Warren Buffett knew he was right in 2002 when he called derivatives financial instruments of MASS DESTRUCTION. Sadly, we will soon see the evidence.

Since all monetary systems in history have come to an end, we have to assume that the biggest global bubble ever also will.

And since this morbid system touches all corners of our lives and has led to a decadent world where moral and ethical values have virtually disappeared, the world needs a cleansing in the form of a forest fire for new green shoots to start again.

PREPARE AND ACHIEVE THE TRIUMPH OF SURVIVAL
As I have pointed out in this article, nobody knows exactly how things will play out.

But what we do know is that risk is probably greater than any time in history. So prudence tells us to get out of bubble assets like stocks, bonds and speculative property. Once the fall starts, these assets are likely to lose 90% or more in real terms which means against gold.

The majority of stock investors are likely to buy all the dips as the market falls, not realising that they will ride the fall all the way down to the bottom. And this time the market will not recover for years or probably decades.

Also it is important to get out of debt except for a normal mortgage on your residential property.

Own physical gold and some silver (much more volatile). That will be your insurance against a rotten financial system.

We have owned and recommended physical gold for 20 years. Not once have we worried about the price. History tells us that governments and central banks destroy the value of money without fail.

But for the ones who do look at the gold price, I think that the correction in gold is finished. There is always a chance of a final move down of $50-100. But that would make no difference since the next big move up is soon coming to much higher levels.

Finally, we will have difficult times in the world. So helping family and friends is very important.

It is everyone’s responsibility to resist the Triumph of Death and achieve the Triumph of Survival – both financial and mental – for everybody we can help.

And remember that many of the best things in life are free – friendship, music, books, nature and many hobbies.

I wish all our readers Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, as well as a Healthy and Harmonious 2022 in spite of the tumultuous era we are entering!

Germany's Surrender To The Greens Forced A Second Surrender To Russia

SATURDAY, DEC 25, 2021 - 10:30 AM
Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk.com,

Germany is in a world of hurt over natural gas, the price of electricity, and its energy policy in general. Let's look at how we got here...

EU 0 - Putin 1
The following from Eurointelligence on December 17, emphasis mine.
Olaf Scholz [German Chancellor], like Angela Merkel before him, is a master of the art of saying nothing and of giving people the impression that he said something. Last night he did say something that should make us listen up. He repeated Angela Merkel’s assertion that Nord Stream 2 is a private-sector project that should not be interfered with by the state. So he keeps prevaricating, even now that Russia is making preparations for an invasion of Ukraine.

We should not be blinded by Annalena Baerbock’s [Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany] expulsion of Russian diplomats, in response to a murder in Berlin, organised by the Russian state. The coalition’s priority will be to secure Germany's energy security.
Yesterday, we staked out a scenario in which a Russian invasion of Ukraine could actually lead to an accelerated approval process for Nord Stream 2. And we don’t think that the Greens want to be held responsible for gas shortages during a cold winter. Right now, they can blame Angela Merkel’s inconsistent energy policies for anything that goes wrong during this winter. And Nord Stream 2 is now in the hands of the German and European regulators and courts, which is just as well.

Right now, EU leaders are discussing a hypothetical: what to do in case Russia invades. If Russia does invade, the discussions would take on a different quality. We don’t see the European Council with a forceful and united response. There will be sanctions of the round-up-the-usual-suspect type.

With gas shortages and rising energy prices, he [Putin] has got the Europeans at the throat now. This is exactly what the Trump administration and the leaders of the Baltic republics said would happen.

We agree with the assessment of Handelsblatt that Nord Stream 2 has turned into a first-order foreign policy disaster for Germany. It is hard to see any good outcomes now.

Germany’s Energy Surrender
Please consider Germany’s Energy Surrender emphasis mine.
Ten years ago 17 nuclear reactors produced about a quarter of Germany’s electricity, but the 2011 Fukushima accident prompted former Chancellor Angela Merkel to phase out nuclear. Six reactors remain:

Three will close this month, with the remaining three ceasing operations next year. It’s hard to think of a more self-defeating policy on economic, climate and geopolitical grounds.

The closures have been expected for years, but keeping the reactors open for their previously planned lifetimes could have helped alleviate some of the pain Germans are feeling now as rising global demand drives up the cost of energy. German one-year forward electricity prices have hit €300 per megawatt hour. For comparison, the 2010 to 2020 average was under €50 per megawatt hour.

The antinuclear move has support from many of Germany’s climate-change obsessives, but abandoning carbon-free nuclear power has had predictable results on emissions. Coal was the country’s top energy source in the first half of 2021, generating more than a quarter of Germany’s electricity. Wind and solar produced 22% and 9%, respectively, as nuclear has fallen to around 12%.

Berlin—at the self-made mercy of the sun and wind—is now deepening its reliance on Russian gas to keep the lights on. This is the background explanation for its weak response to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Germany’s staunch support for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia, despite opposition from allies, undermines the West’s response to Vladimir Putin’s designs to dominate Eastern Europe.
Germany is now pushing to keep nuclear power off the European Union’s list of “environmentally sustainable economic activities,” a designation that could lower the cost of financing nuclear projects. It’s bad enough that the Germans have undermined their own energy security, but they shouldn’t foist their self-destructive policy on the rest of the Continent.
1640515927419.png

1640515888640.png

Merkel's absurd decision 10 years ago to phase out nuclear energy set the stage for sky-high prices and ironically, even more dependence on coal.

To top it off, Germany is at the mercy of Putin and Russia's natural gas supply or LNG at very high prices.

I suppose a popular revolt (the right kind with guns and bullets) against TPTB/CIA/Govt in general/the WEF member corps, would be 'framed' as a CW among the diverse population. The govt-media complex probably already has plans and press releases ready to go which would show anti-govt actions as nothing of the sort, but to show the govt as the savior of a nation turned against itself.

Y'all have seen news over the past year of BLM groups decked out in para-military gear and openly armed with scary black rifles.
Suppose the govt mandated and declared all firearms illegal and that they must be turned in or else fines/jail. Would you march WITH the BLM group if they too were supporting 2A? That's be an interest cultural experience... one that the govt could and would absolutely never allow to happen or be seen in the media.

There would be more FFs and fake news than imaginable.

Houston, we have a systemic failure that requires surgical removal and extermination of a very very tiny but highly dangerous percentage of the population.

A Colossal Theft In Pain Sight

SUNDAY, DEC 26, 2021 - 07:15 PM
Submitted by Larry McDonald, author of The Bear Traps Report

What have we done with the $11 Trillion?
We have clients in 23 different countries, but most reside within the continental United States – in recent weeks, we keep hearing countless stories of self-proclaimed 24-hour turnaround testing centers to do a PCR test, then taking more than 80 hours to get the results back. Friends in New Jersey tell us not one pharmacy or walk-in clinic in a 100-mile radius has appointments available in the next week. Home testing has improved but for those traveling overseas – it is a PCR test that is needed.

The question that haunts us now is that, almost two years into this crisis and an $11 Trillion U.S. Fiscal and Monetary spending deluge, we still don’t have an adequate testing infrastructure? It blows us away – we are still dealing with endless waiting lines, no availability of testing appointments, shortages of at-home tests and overwhelmed testing labs scrambling to process vials.

Where did all that money go?

State and Federal Debts Add Up

In the US, the corona crisis started on January 29, 2020, when the White House initiated its coronavirus task force. Since then, the US has gone from crisis to crisis and the media and our politicians have been obsessed with this epidemic and its consequences ever since. Amidst all the turmoil, the US government has left no stone unturned to throw money at this disaster. The Fed kicked off in early March by lowering interest rates to zero and shortly after began rolled out an alphabet soup of emergency programs. From buying high yield debt to bankrolling bailout checks (PPP loans), nothing was left on the table for our adroit stewards at the Fed. The byzantine maze of fiscal stimuli has left everyone confused. Nevertheless, the total amount of support the Fed has pumped into the economy is best measured by the expansion of its balance sheet. When the Fed finishes its asset tapering program in March of 2022, its balance sheet will have expanded by $5 Trillion. In less than two years the Fed deployed more money than during, and in the 10 years after, the great financial crisis ($3.5TR). This monetary support alone is also more than that of the entire GDP of Japan, the third-largest economy in the world.

Not to be outdone, the Federal government opened the floodgates by quickly passing spending bill after spending bill. After less than two years, the total amount of fiscal stimulus, as measured by the fiscal deficit spending, has reached a mind-blowing $6 Trillion. U.S. Federal debt has reached $29 Trillion and $32 Trillion if you add State and Local debt. At this point, US debt is a whopping 134% of GDP, giving the U.S. the dubious honor of being among top ten most indebted countries worldwide. This is a spot the erstwhile creditor to the world shares with the likes of Italy and Venezuela.

Where did all the money go?

And what did we, the American people, get for this colossal $11 Trillion in a monetary and fiscal deluge? As we find ourselves in the midst of yet another massive outbreak is case count, this seems like a valid question. You would think that the priority for these funds is to bolster essential healthcare needs to address this medical crisis. But even now, the US is still woefully ill-equipped with testing capabilities, almost two years into this crisis. Our friends in Europe tell us testing is quickly done there. They live in urban areas such as Paris where testing is still readily available. France is also in the midst of another outbreak but seems to have no problem providing its citizens with ample testing facilities.

In hospitals, there has apparently been no improvement in available capacity in the critical ICUs, judged by the Johns Hopkins weekly hospitalization trends.

Hospitalizations

Incredulously, ICU beds-in-use compared to overall availability is almost higher now than it was a year ago.

So Where did the Money Go?
According to the Congressional Research Service, $25 Billion was appropriated for “selected domestic COVID-19 vaccine-related activities”. That sounds like a lot, but it’s a mere 0.5% of the federal emergency spending in the last two years.'

It turns out that the department of health and human services wasn’t even the biggest recipient of all the emergency spending. It was fourth on the list, which was topped by the Treasury Department, the small business administration, and the department of labor. Other major recipients were the department of education and the agriculture department. Why farmers needed a $160 Billion windfall during the pandemic is incomprehensible, especially since most crop commodities have been at record highs for a year now.

Reasonable people can agree that small businesses needed support during this crisis, especially during the lockdown. But the Fed’s Term Asset-Backed security Loan Facility (TALF), Primary and Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facilities ((P/S) MCCF), and Municipal Liquidity Facility (MLF) had absolutely nothing to do with small business assistance. These programs, together with the $5 Trillion purchases of Treasuries and agency debt, helped to foster an explosion in debt issuance by big business. Fueling stock buybacksInvestment-grade debt issued in this year and last year was a total of $3.1 Trillion, almost half the size of the total IG market. High yield issuance was even more baffling, setting issuance records two years in a row amidst a debilitating epidemic.

Junk Bond Bonanza Fueling Stock Buybacks

The effect of all this government largesse has had a profound impact on the stock market. The total market value of all stocks has risen from $34 Trillion to $53 Trillion; a whopping $19 Trillion (50%) increase from pre-pandemic levels.

The IPO market has been red hot this year, with 1000 deals for the first time in history. Rock bottom interest rates and epic multiple expansion have driven investors into IPOs, as they clamor for excess returns in the most unsavory deals.

U.S. junk bonds, we see new supply to plunge as much as 30% in 2022 as refinancings, the driver for almost 60% of issuance this year, will shrink because companies already capitalized on low yields and lengthened maturities. Likewise, a Fed in a hiking cycle should tighten financial conditions – shrink issuance.

Buybacks Driving S&P and Nasdaq Higher – On Leverage

Congress wants to tax stock buybacks – the implications are sky-high as a colossal equity market bid comes from Fed-induced corporate bond sales- See above with @SamRo – he notes just 20 companies are responsible for half the stock buybacks – this is one enormous – central bank fueled – leveraged Ponzi is driving stock indexes (S&P 500 and Nasdaq) higher. Of course in Q1 – Q2 2020 when stocks were on sale – few companies were buying back stock. Per Fitch – U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade (IG), corporate bond volume, excluding financial institutions, supranationals, sovereigns, and agencies, tallied $705 billion through Dec. 16, 2021. We saw the second-highest issuance through the first 10 months of the year and are up 27% and 13%, from 2018’s and 2019’s respective levels. Volume is down 36% versus the record 2020 amount; though that gap could shrink by year’s end as the final two months of 2020’s issuance was well below 2021’s monthly average. The volume disparity between 2020 and 2021 relates to deal size. Last year, there were double the number of transactions done for $4 billion or more compared with this year (60 in 2020 versus 29 in 2021). Both years featured at least two $20 billion issuances, with AT&T Inc. and The Boeing Company driving 2020 while Verizon Communications Inc. and AT&T led 2021.

Several prominent companies tapped the IG market in 2021, including Verizon, AT&T, Amazon.com Inc., Oracle Corp., Comcast Corp. and Apple Inc. These six issuers comprised 21% of the year’s total volume, with all completing bond transactions of $15 billion or more. In fact, the 10 largest issuers make up 29% of 2021’s volume, highlighting the market’s concentration.

The problem is – central banks are fueling unsustainable inequality.

Share of Total Net Worth held by the Top 1%
  • 2021: 32.5%
  • 2010s: 31.2%
  • 2000s: 27.2%
  • 1990s: 26.7%
  • 1980s: 23.2%

*Since 2003, the Bottom 50% total net worth held has plunged from 39% to 30%.

Federal Reserve data. For 20 years 1990-2010, the top 1% net worth held was range-bound 26-27% – since central bank aggression in balance sheet expansion in 2009, inequality has exploded higher.

The Great Heist at the Taxpayers Expense
This is all great if you own stocks, or when you are a Fortune 500 company issuing debt to repurchase your own stock, but neither the deluge in debt nor the record number of buybacks (at a run-rate of $1 Trillion this year) have done anything to bolster our country’s medical care or Americans’ health. More troubling even is reports showing outright theft of funds earmarked for pandemic emergency spending. The Wall Street Journal quoted the U.S. Secret Service who said that “some $100 billion has potentially been stolen from Covid-19 relief programs designed to help individuals and businesses harmed by the pandemic.” The main culprits are worldwide organized crime networks, who defrauded primarily the pandemic unemployment insurance program. On top of that, as much as 15% of the PPP loans ($76 billion out of $800 billion total) may have been fraudulent, according to the New York Times.

The Middle Class is in Pain

After $11 Trillion of emergency spending and support, the US healthcare system is just as inadequate as it was before the crisis, violent crime is rampant, drug overdoses have never been higher and the economy is showing signs of stagflation, as illustrated by the record spread between Treasury breakevens and TIPS yields¹.

What these bond market metrics suggest is that the potential growth rate of the US economy has structurally declined since the pandemic (it already declined a lot since the “great financial crisis”) and that any growth future growth is coming from price increases. The bond market is telling us – all future GDP growth is coming from price increases, but there is little real growth in the economy, that is why TIPS yields are -1%.

Consumers in Pain

Since August – we have had THREE sub-80 readings from the University of Michigan Consumer Economic Confidence Data. Looking back over the last 30 years – it is HIGHLY unusual for the Fed to hike rates with consumers in this kind of pain. Inflation´s taxing powers over the consumer have already hiked rates 100bps for the Fed in our view – colossal demand destruction has taken place. These stagflationary conditions erode people’s real disposable income, making them worse off. Ultimately, most of the $11 Trillion ended up benefiting the top wealthiest Americans, by inflating the prices of assets such as bonds and stocks and lowering interest rates for borrowers with the highest credit rating. For the average citizen, this has been a very raw deal.

Loud Covid Narrative Hides Inconvenient Truths

We must look at the big picture. The number one killer of Americans aged 18 to 45 is now fentanyl overdoses, with nearly 79,000 victims in the age range dying to them between 2020 and 2021.

Inflation is a Regressive Tax on the Middle Class

TIPS: Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities: The principal of a TIPS increases with inflation and decreases with deflation, as measured by the Consumer Price Index.

When a TIPS matures, you are paid the adjusted principal or original principal, whichever is greater. Breakeven yield is calculated by deducting TIPS yields from real yields. Breakeven rates derive the rate of inflation priced in by the bond market for applicable maturity (such as 10-year breakevens express the implied rate of inflation in the next 10 years).

Trillions of Fiscal and Monetary Support
What is so painful is that not only is there no discernable improvement in the healthcare infrastructure to deal with the corona crisis, but other facets of America’s healthcare are now even worse off. The CDC reported this week that fentanyl is now the leading cause of death among teenagers. These drugs have killed more people between the ages of 18 to 45 than corona, car accidents, and suicides. Data from Families Against Fentanyl suggests that now one person dies from an overdose every 8.5 minutes. The pandemic has pushed drug abuse into overdrive as “the stress of the pandemic has led more people to use these types of drugs, according to experts.” The Census Bureau this week reported that America’s population grew at the lowest rate in history. In the year that ended July 1, the U.S. recorded only 148,000 more births than deaths, with the balance coming from net immigration.

America’s life expectancy last year declined by an unprecedented 1.8 years to 77 years. Besides corona, increases in mortality from drug overdoses, heart disease, homicide and diabetes also decreased life expectancy. Violent crime especially has seen a dramatic increase in the last two years. CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics reported that homicide rates rose 30% between 2019 and 2020 and they continue to go up this year. At least 12 major U.S. cities have broken annual homicide records in 2021 — and there’s still three weeks to go in the year.

US Annual Population Growth
  • 2021: 0.1%
  • 2011: 0.8%
  • 2001: 1.0%
  • 1991: 1.2%
America is dying – and it’s NOT just a Covid narrative. From 1999–2019, nearly 500,000 people died from an overdose involving any opioid, including prescription and illicit opioids -CDC data.

EXPOSED: Meet Klaus Schwab's 2021 Class of 'Great Reset' Soldiers

Renee Nal
December 26, 2021

New-Global-Leaders1-1200x630.jpg

The World Economic Forum’s goals are far more than remaking the economy.

They want to physically alter you and your children.

Klaus Schwab’s Young Global Leaders class of 2021 include the Lieutenant Governor, State of Michigan, a Senior Vice-President at Uber, racist activist Ibram X Kendi and executives at Dow, Pfizer and Merck among many others.

Countries from all over the world are represented in the World Economic Forum’s latest crop of 112 potential globalist leaders. This class join radical left luminaries such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Peter Buttigieg, Emmanuel Macron, Gavin Newsom, Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern and many others.

According to their website, the Young Global Leaders consist of “more than 1,400 members and alumni of 120 nationalities”. The individuals are trained to be “[A]ligned with the World Economic Forum’s mission,” to “drive public-private co-operation in the global public interest.” The WEF is known for their annual meeting of elitists at Davos, an alpine resort town in Switzerland.

The World Economic Forum is promoting the dangerous shift of government’s ongoing merger with massive corporations, described as “public-private co-operation”. This “co-operation” is also illustrated in so-called “stakeholder capitalism,” which moves industry from operating on a profit motive. Eventually, such a system would be forced to cave in on itself, but the globalist elitists do not appear too concerned about that.

Anyone can scroll through the list of the Young Global Leader’s class of 2021 by region. Here is the list representing North America:
  • Daniel Ahn, Global Fellow, The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, USA
  • Peter Biar Ajak, Visiting Fellow and Adjunct Faculty, Africa Center for Strategic Studies, USA
  • Adriana Cargill, Independent Radio Journalist, USA
  • Arvan Chan, Senior Vice-President; Chief Operating Officer, International, Centene, USA
  • Alexis Crow, Global Head, Geopolitical Investing, PwC, USA
  • Abasi Ene-Obong, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, 54gene, USA
  • Jocelyn Formsma, Executive Director, National Association of Friendship Centres, Canada
  • Garlin Gilchrist II, Lieutenant Governor, State of Michigan, USA
  • Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty, Senior Vice-President, Delivery, Uber Technologies, USA
  • Megan Greenfield, Partner, McKinsey & Company, USA
  • Jessica Jackson, Chief Advocacy Officer, Reform Alliance, USA
  • Gadeer Kamal-Mreeh, Senior Special Envoy, North America, The Jewish Agency, USA
  • Brian Kaufmann, Head, Private Investments; Portfolio Manager; Member of the Management Committee, Viking Global Investors, USA
  • Conrod Kelly, Managing Director, Chile, Merck & Co., Inc, USA
  • Ibram X Kendi, Director of the Center for Antiracist Research, Boston University, USA
  • Haley Lowry, Global Sustainability Director, Dow, USA
  • Lukas Nelson, Band Leader, Promise of The Real, USA
  • Amit Paley, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, The Trevor Project, USA
  • Emily Serazin, Managing Director and Partner, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), USA
  • Liam Sobey, Vice-President, Merchandising, Sobeys Inc., Canada
  • Vasudha Vats, Vice-President, Pfizer, USA
  • Hitesh Wadhwa, Vice-President, Sales and Strategic Initiatives, Tech Mahindra, USA
  • David Alexander Walcott, Founder and Managing Partner, Novamed, USA
But the World Economic Forum does not just want to remake the economy, they want to remake humanity.

‘Synthetic Biology’
Synthetic biology is going to remake the world. The tools available to scientists today create the vast potential to do great good or great harm. – Lt Col Marcus A. Cunningham, USAF, Strategic Studies Quarterly, Fall 2020
A part of Schwab’s vision appears to be his insane iteration of “synthetic biology,” which has been described as “designing and constructing biological modules, biological systems, and biological machines or, re‐design of existing biological systems for useful purposes.” In essence, Synthetic Biology is an umbrella term that includes a bizarre fringe obsession with transhumanism, or the “fusion of human beings with technology”.

A shocking November 2020 article posted at LifeSite News features Dr. Miklos Lukacs de Pereny, a Professor of Science, Technology and Innovation at the Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Peru. The professor was quoted as explaining that the Fourth Industrial Revolution “is nothing other than the implementation of transhumanism on a global level.”

Indeed, in this 2016 clip, Schwab states that this “Fourth Industrial Revolution” will “lead to a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identities:”

Rumble video 1:03 min

Schwab goes into more detail here, explaining that this “physical, digital and biological” fusion will come as chips are ultimately embedded into our brains:

Rumble video 1:31 min

Schwab’s vision is so outrageous that he should obviously be dismissed outright as a kook. But instead, the self proclaimed global elites eagerly attend Schwab’s conferences and sign up to be “Young Global Leaders”.

If the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” is Klaus Schwab’s vision to remake global humanity and the economy, then the launchpad is the “Great Reset.” The vehicle for the Great Reset, of course, is the coronavirus pandemic.

Paralyzed man with brain chip posts ‘first direct-thought’ tweet

A company that implants neural computer interfaces into the brain says a patient with a nervous system disease that left him motionless was able to share a post on social media by just thinking it.

A 62-year-old man in Australia diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – a disease that causes paralysis – is now able to communicate thoughts with others with no muscle activity involved. On Thursday, he published a post on social media “using only direct thought,” the company that enabled him to do so, Synchron, announced.

I created this tweet just by thinking it” – the tweet read, said to be posted by Philip O’Keefe to the account of Synchron CEO Thomas Oxley.

The ‘first direct-thought tweet’ was created wirelessly from O’Keefe’s brain, according to the company. Following progressive paralysis caused by ALS, the man had a brain computer interface called ‘Stentrode’ installed last year. The implant, “designed to enable patients to wirelessly control digital devices through thought,” was inserted via the jugular vein to avoid drilling into the skull.

Now, I just think about where on the computer I want to click, and I can email, bank, shop, and now message the world via Twitter,” the company cited O’Keefe as saying – or thinking. According to him, the “astonishing” system takes practice, just like learning to ride a bike, “but once you’re rolling, it becomes natural.”

The man, despite debilitating paralysis, is now able to engage in independent activities and reconnect with the world, Synchron claims, adding that it plans to further develop its brain computer interface in an in-human study in the US next year.

The Future of Mind Control

By Caitlin McDermott-Murphy/The Harvard Gazette
December 27, 2021

Charles M. Lieber and Shaun Patel, a faculty member at the Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, see a field — their own — at a tipping point. In a perspective titled “Precision Electronic Medicine,” published this month in Nature Biotechnology, they argue that neurotechnology is on the cusp of a major renaissance.

“The next frontier is really the merging of human cognition with machines,” said Patel, a neurologist at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. And in their article, he and Lieber, the Joshua and Beth Friedman University Professor, write that mesh electronics such as those developed by Lieber are the foundation for machines designed to personalize electronic treatment for just about anything related to the brain.

“Everything manifests in the brain fundamentally. Everything. All your thoughts, your perceptions, any type of disease,” Patel said.

Right now, scientists can identify the areas of the brain where decision-making, learning, and emotions originate, but tracing behaviors to specific neurons is still a challenge. That means that when the brain’s complex circuitry becomes tangled or degraded by psychiatric illnesses such as addiction, neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, or even natural aging, doctors have only two options: drugs or implanted electrodes, both of which can have effects on more than their intended targets. In some cases side effects can be severe, and while the effects of deep-brain stimulation can be almost instantaneous, over time the brain’s immune system treats the stiff implants as foreign objects: Neural immune cells (glia cells) engulf the perceived invader, displacing or even killing neurons and reducing the device’s ability to maintain treatment.

Lieber and Patel believe the current technology is simply a stopgap. In their paper, they write that developing “research focused at the interface between the nervous system and electronics … [can unlock] the potential of implants capable of cellular-level therapeutic targeting.”

“Personalized electronic therapies will provide new treatment modalities for neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric illness; powerful control of prosthetics for restorative function in degenerative diseases, trauma and amputation; and even augmentation of human cognition,” they write. “Overall, we believe that emerging advances in tissue-like electronics will enable minimally invasive devices capable of establishing a stable long-term cellular neural interface and providing long-term treatment for chronic neurological conditions.”

To that end, Lieber’s lab is designing smaller, more flexible electronic brain implants that move with brain tissue instead of against it. His mesh electronics mimic the size, shape, and feel of real neurons; can record, track and modulate individual neurons and circuits for up to a year or more; and provoke almost no immune response. In addition, Lieber’s electronics have already demonstrated a valuable trick of their own: They encourage neural migration, potentially guiding newborn neurons to damaged areas, like pockets created by stroke.

What this means, the researchers said, is that eventually the technology could track how specific neural subtypes talk, which in turn could lead to a cleaner, more precise map of the brain’s communication network. With higher-resolution targets, future electrodes can act with greater precision, eliminating unwanted side effects. And, Patel said, they could be tuned to treat any neurological disorder.

Lieber and Patel expect the next steps to be a focus on “highly flexible mesh probes with high densities of recording and stimulation electrodes [that can interface] with mature, silicone-based processor chips,” ultimately leading to “seamless neural-electronic systems,” even treatments for bedeviling and disheveling brain illnesses such as Alzheimer’s.

After that, they said, adaptive electrodes could provide better control over prosthetic or even paralyzed limbs, and in time may act like neural substitutes, replacing damaged circuitry to re-establish broken communication networks and recalibrate based on live feedback.

“If you could actually interact in a precise and long-term way and also provide feedback information,” Lieber said, “you could really communicate with the brain in the same way that the brain is communicating within itself.”

Mesh electronics still has several major challenges to overcome: scaling up the number of implanted electrodes, processing the data flood those implants deliver, and feeding that information back into the system to enable live recalibration.

“I always joke in talks that I’m doing this because my memory has gotten a little worse than it used to be,” Lieber said. “That’s natural aging. But does it have to be that way? What if you could correct it?”

“The potential for it is outstanding,” Patel said. “In my own mind, I see this at the level of what started with the transistor or telecommunications.”

Synchron Announces First Direct-Thought Tweet, “Hello World,” Using an Implantable Brain Computer Interface

Business Wire/Via AP
December 27, 2021

Synchron, a brain computer interface company, today announced a Twitter takeover by Philip O’Keefe, one of the patients implanted with the Stentrode brain computer interface. Mr. O’Keefe is the first person to successfully message the world on social media directly through thought using an implantable brain computer interface.

Mr. O’Keefe, a 62-year-old man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), successfully turned his direct thought to text via Twitter when he messaged “Hello World” using the Stentrode brain computer interface.

“When I first heard about this technology, I knew how much independence it could give back to me. The system is astonishing, it’s like learning to ride a bike – it takes practice, but once you’re rolling, it becomes natural,” said O’Keefe. “Now, I just think about where on the computer I want to click, and I can email, bank, shop, and now message the world via Twitter.”

Mr. O’Keefe took over the Twitter handle of Synchron CEO, Thomas Oxley, MD, PhD, @tomoxl, using the hashtag #HelloWorldBCI. Mr. O’Keefe’s goal was to share his experience of regaining independence with the world and offer inspiration for the future.

“My hope is that I’m paving the way for people to tweet through thoughts,” was his closing statement.

Philip received the endovascular Stentrode brain computer interface in April 2020 following progressive paralysis caused by ALS which left him unable to engage in work-related or other independent activities. Mr. O’Keefe has since been using the technology to reconnect with his family, and business colleagues continuing email exchanges and staying actively involved in his consultancy and other business projects.

“These fun holiday tweets are actually an important moment for the field of implantable brain computer interfaces. They highlight the connection, hope and freedom that BCIs give to people like Phil who have had so much of their functional independence taken away due to debilitating paralysis,” said Thomas Oxley, MD, PhD, CEO, Synchron. “We look forward to advancing our brain computer interface, Stentrode, in the first U.S. in-human study next year.”

Snyder: They're Working Relentlessly To Transform Our Society Into A Dystopian 'Big Brother' Hellhole

MONDAY, DEC 27, 2021 - 05:40 PM
Authored by Michael Snyder via TheMostImportantNews.com,

The past two years have fundamentally transformed just about every nation on the entire planet, and there will be no going back if the elite have their way.

For more than a decade, I have been warning about the rapid growth of the “Big Brother” control grid all around us, but in 2020 and 2021 things have gone to an entirely new level. The pandemic has given them the perfect excuse to impose lockdowns, mask requirements, vaccine passports and mandatory injections all over the globe. They have used fear of the virus to get the vast majority of the world population to accept measures that they never would have accepted during normal times. As a result, now they can monitor us, track us and control us like never before.

In many areas, it has already gotten to a point where you can’t even live a normal life without a “vaccine passport” or some other proof that you are up to date on your injections. In New York City, people have been getting arrested just for ordering food without showing proof of vaccination. As a result of such authoritarian measures, the vaccination rate in the city is up to about 85 percent, but that still isn’t good enough for those in charge.

So now they are going to be sending vaccination teams around to “encourage” those that have not been vaccinated to get their shots.

Oh, and if you give in they will hand you $100 for being a good little servant of the system.

Sadly, it sounds like door to door vaccination teams will soon be coming to the UK as well
Door-to-door teams armed with Covid jabs will be sent to the homes of unvaccinated Britons in plans being considered by Ministers to reach the estimated five million people yet to be inoculated.
Discussions between the Department of Health, NHS England and No 10 over the past week have looked at a nationwide drive to send vaccine teams to areas with low uptake rates as a crucial way to avoid lockdown and other restrictions.
But at least the injections have not become mandatory in the United States and the UK just yet.

However, an increasing number of nations are starting to move in that direction.

Ecuador just mandated the injections for everyone that is at least five years old, it appears that Germany could make them mandatory early next year, and Austria is actually hiring people to hunt down “vaccine refusers”.

Yes, our world really is becoming one huge science fiction movie.

In Canada, the government was actually “secretly tracking 33 million phones” in order to gauge “the public’s responsiveness during lockdown measures”…
Canada – which has a population of 38 million – has admitted to secretly tracking 33 million phones during the Covid-19 lockown, according to the National Post, citing Blacklock’s Reporter which first noted the disclosure.
The country’s Public Health Agency (PHAC) did so to assess “the public’s responsiveness during lockdown measures,” according to the report.
Canada has gone completely and totally nuts during this pandemic.

But the Canadians still have a long way to go in order to top the insanity in New Zealand.

Not too long ago, an anti-euthanasia group asked the Ministry of Health if a patient that is in the hospital with COVID is “eligible” for euthanasia
In November, anti-euthanasia group #DefendNZ asked the New Zealand Ministry of Health (MOH) questions about the practice of the nation’s End of Life Choice Act (EOLC Act). One of these questions was, “Could a patient who is severely hospitalised with Covid-19 potentially be eligible for assisted suicide or euthanasia under the Act if a health practitioner viewed their prognosis as less than 6 months?”
The response that the group got back was extremely alarming
Doctors receive a government fee of $1,000 plus expenses for each person they kill through euthanasia.

The MOH confirmed that such patients with COVID could be killed by lethal injection under the new euthanasia law. This includes patients who are considered to be dying from COVID or those who have extreme suffering from its effects. The MOH stated, “A terminal illness is most often a prolonged disease where treatment is not effective.”
If you live in New Zealand and you get COVID, you will want to be very careful to clarify what someone means when they ask you if you want to “go to sleep”.

Of course all of the rules, regulations and mandates that have been imposed upon us are not for the elite. They appear to be operating under their own special set of rules, and this should make all of us very sick.

I really like how Emerald Robinson made this point in her most recent article
Meanwhile, my colleagues in the corporate media spent their time in 2021 telling you that you could fly on a packed airplane but that your church was closed. That you couldn’t walk into your favorite local restaurant but Target and Walmart were always open for you. That your schools were shut down but left-wing political rallies were safe to attend. They treated CDC “guidelines” as law. They repeated with a straight face that your civil rights were basically suspended indefinitely — unless you were a member of Congress or Bill Gates. The overwhelming majority of my so-called colleagues in journalism spent the entire year celebrating this state of affairs. The stench of their treachery to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights will never be washed away.
Our freedoms and liberties are being systematically destroyed all around us, but many Americans don’t seem to care.

Instead, they just continue to allow fear of the virus to push them into doing very irrational things.

For instance, a riot almost erupted in Brooklyn on Friday when officials started to hand out “free at-home COVID-19 tests”
Cops had to step in Friday as a crowd mobbed a Brooklyn corner where the city was giving away free at-home COVID-19 tests.

Tempers flared as the larger-than-expected crowd descended on Flatbush and Church avenues, one of five spots in the Big Apple where city health officials were doling out tests amid a surge in demand over the holidays and lack of supply.
People were so desperate to get those tests that the police had to be called in.
It reminded me of scenes that we would see on Black Friday in the pre-pandemic days, but in this case people were ready to fight to get their hands on free COVID tests.

Have we really sunk this low?

I was really hoping that the pandemic was starting to subside, but now this new Omicron variant has caused a tremendous wave of fear.

And politicians will inevitably respond to all of this fear by imposing even more authoritarian measures.

I have been shocked by how easy it has been for much of the global population to accept the authoritarian measures that have been imposed so far. If they are not willing to stand up to tyranny now, what will happen when much greater tyranny comes along later?

These are such dark times, and I believe that they will get even darker in 2022.

The fiery grip of tyranny is getting a little tighter with each passing day, but much of the population of our planet does not seem to think that this is a problem.

Oculus App Downloads Jump As Metaverse Wins Christmas

MONDAY, DEC 27, 2021 - 05:20 PM

Ahead of the holidays, Silicon Valley's Facebook made a major announcement that it was rebranding as "Meta" as part of its corporate embrace of the "Metaverse."

Mark Zuckerberg, the owner and founder of Meta, wants people to embrace a virtual reality world called the Metaverse. His company is selling Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headsets, which have become the most desirable gifts this Christmas, according to KeyBanc Capital Markets.

Before Christmas Eve, the Oculus app ranked in the top 10 iOS entertainment app. On Christmas Day, the app jumped to the top five in the entertainment app in 14 countries and the number 1 app in the US.

"Net, we believe Oculus was a popular gift this holiday season, and potentially benefited from console shortages," KeyBanc's analyst Justin Patterson wrote.

Facebook's name change and shortage of gaming consoles appear to be the driving forces in creating the next iteration of the internet.

Zuckerberg has said, by the end of the decade, "the Metaverse will be where we all live work and play." However, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Tesla's Elon Musk have voiced their displeasure over the Metaverse.

What's happening is the beginning of the end as Big Tech herds people into the Metaverse The Matrix as it offers them a way to escape the harsh reality of living in an overpriced apartment studio, crammed into a city full of violent crime, drowning in insurmountable, and barely making a living wage amid high inflation
In a recent Goldman Sachs research report, "Framing the Future of Web 3.0 - Metaverse Edition," published earlier this month (the full note is available to professional subscribers in the usual place), there has been strong consumer adoption of Oculus Quest 2 this year.

But it's not just Big Tech herding people into the Metaverse; the need for virtual events and connections due to COVID-19 and social restrictions has pushed people into the virtual world.

With millions of new Oculus users, the question we have is if retention will remain high or if the Metaverse is just a temporary fad.

Comedian Tim Dillon recently explained the Metaverse to Joe Rogan.
