Story Looking for a story

I can't remember where I read this story the main character is a handyman that lives in the Thumb area of Michigan. There was to be a proposed sequel to that story. Not much to go on, but if anyone had read it I'm sure it's enough.

Nope, not mine. That was Man's Sin's and Shake, Rattle, and Roll!. I'm not finishing either one. They were my first attempts at writing.
