Neither here nor there.
Never been there, just looked it up on Google Maps and looks like there's a ton of cool parks, nature preserves, and battlefields in the area! Have a great trip.

What you can do in downtown Landrum.

There's a nice little tavern restaurant on main street called The Hare & Hound my deceased mom wanted to call it the Hore & hound! After horehound candy, I would have to stop her! There is an Amish furniture store Foothills Amish Furniture. Several antiques stores too in Landrum.

We are planning a leisurely drive home through Tennessee and “Appalachia“. Stopping in the Lancaster area so I can get a long time coveted amish quilt and hit up an amish dry goods store. The quilt is my retirement gift to myself. We’re taking three days to do a 14 hour drive home. We haven’t had a vacation for 10 years since our 30th anniversary 9 day toodle through 5 states, 3000 mile no destination road trip.

Sounds like a wonderful adventure will be had! And from what I saw online looks like a lot of trees and flowers will be in full bloom. Enjoy, take lots of photos, and looking forward to hearing how your trip went.
