Kamala Harris Roasted for Gas Stove Seen in Background of Thanksgiving Post

Kamala Harris Roasted After People Notice What's in the Background of Her Thanksgiving Post

This Thanksgiving, Vice President Kamala Harris had a message for the American people: “Our proposed rules are for thee, not for me.”

Oh, sure, she didn’t put it exactly that way. But make no mistake — that was the message she was sending you.

“From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving,” Harris said in a social media post showing the veep and her husband, Doug Emhoff, in their kitchen. However, she probably should have looked behind her before she posted the picture.

It’s like a real-life political version of “Where’s Waldo?” Can you find the liberal faux pas in the picture?

That’s right — a gas stove! (Or, as they will no doubt be rebranded by the left sometime in the near future, “assault cookers.”)

As you may recall from earlier this year, reports indicated that the Biden administration’s Consumer Product Safety Commission was considering a ban on gas stoves.

“This is a hidden hazard,” CPSC official Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg in January. “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

So, as this has become a left-wing cause célèbre, one would think that the vice president would have, at least for appearances’ sake, put in an electric range — or stopped posting pictures of her kitchen if she hadn’t, anyhow.

Because these are the responses she got:

And that’s the thing: The elite are always exempt from their own meddling. They’ll bray about net-zero emissions, then board a private jet.

It’s really not too much to ask members of the Biden administration to refrain from engaging in an activity that its own consumer protection agency says is a “hidden hazard.” Either come out and call a ban a stupid idea, or don’t give us cozy shots of your kitchen/health menace on Turkey Day.

Otherwise, get ratioed for your hypocrisy — just like Kamala Harris did.

She has no idea how to use a stove. She dines out on taxpayer money. If she eats at home she has a chef to prepare all her meals.
Judging by what I've seen in trying to help my son check out apartments in DC and Virginia near DC, MOST of the homes / apartments have GAS stoves, not electric.

Afaik, in GA most homes are ELECTRIC stoves / ovens--because they're cheaper / easier to install.

The only explanation I can think of is that, Washington DC being our nation's capitol, and therefore the "ritzi-est" area of the nation, would be that when natural gas first became the "fuel of choice" for lighting and cooking prior to the advent of electricity, it became the "standard" in all (then) "Washington City" homes--and thus still is.

So they've been "gas-lighting" for a long, LONG time................

Well she does live in the Naval Observatory, and it probably came furnished with it. But I'm sure it'll be torn out and replaced before January 2025.

From a prepper's perspective you should ideally have a propane stove which is plumbed to run on your 150 gallon or 250 gallon tank and operate on 5 gallon tanks.

I'll be upfront and tell you guys that we have an electric stove because I've had it for many, many years and our new (to us) home was already wired for an electric stove. It was just an easy move and plug it in to get cooking. However, we also have two camp type propane stoves and lots of bottled gas in (outdoor) covered storage.

Yes, camp stoves are essential. We have two, plus a small gas grill. Two propane heaters that can be flipped 90 degrees for cooking, plus two Little Buddy heaters. I keep 40-50 one lb canisters of propane on hand. Outdoor charcoal grill and a propane griddle. Round firepit with a large grill to cover it, plus a tripod for campfire.
Learned my lesson from a 1993 icestorm, when power went out and my charcoal got wet. Now charcoal stays in the greenhouse. I will have a means to cook and stay warm.
