Yes, prayers! Pace yourself. We had “stuff” from 46 years of marriage and almost 30 years of a family of 5 in the same house when we downsized late last year.

We had a moving van full of stuff that moved the first load on Oct 9th. We left a lot of stuff to stage the old home for selling. The old home sold and then closed the weekend before Christmas.

In between the Oct 9th first van load and the December 20th final van load, we rarely missed a day loading up both cars (the Equinox and the Bolt) with as many small boxes of stuff as they would hold to move from the old house to the new house.

We have about 40 boxes in the basement we have still not unpacked and we’re coming up on a year since this process started. Obviously have stuff we don’t really need if we have managed to live without it for a year!

Hope your move goes well and the new home is everything you need it to be.

Praying for you and the move.
Mine occurred back in 2015.
As others have already said, rest and pace are important. Best wishes!

I'd go through those 40 boxes, sort anything that could truly be called a Prep and place in your storage or go bags accordingly. The rest might be a candidate for a Thrift shop. More room in that basement might be a Godsend, here shortly.

Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

Hydrate! Most important to all involved.

Gratz and luck....

God I hate to move! I'd rather take a beating.
