BEIRUT, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- An Israeli army unit on Sunday crossed the borders with Lebanon in the direction of the occupied part of al-Ghajar village, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

"An intense Israeli build-up of forces during the past 24 hours has been observed along the eastern sector of the Blue Line, with mobile and fixed patrols," said NNA.

It added that "Israeli tank emplacements were spotted amid intense overflights by helicopter gunships and warplanes."

"Earlier, an Israeli mechanized infantry unit comprised of two Hummers crossed the UN-designated Blue Line for 300 meters in the direction of the occupied part of al-Ghajar village," said NNA.

On the Lebanese side, UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and Lebanese army personnel intensified patrolling activities.

The Blue Line, which is the line for Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon in 2000, now serves as the borderline of the two countries and runs through the middle of the al-Ghajar village.

Lebanon accuses Israel of intruding its airspace on a daily basis, saying it is a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The resolution put an end to the 2006 war between Israel and Lebanese Shiite armed group Hezbollah, and mandates peacekeepers to monitor the armistice along the border.

-------------

Note that there is nothing being reported on Israeli newswires:

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/AllFlashes.aspx

This is alarming in that it suggests there's a news blackout in effect. If so, a major IDF operation of some sort may be getting underway.

Also note that this might not only be an Israeli military action against Lebanon. The disturbing possibility here is that IDF forces are preparing in Northern Israel for action against Hezbollah and/or Syria in anticipation of a military reaction to an Israeli strike on Iran.

Either which way, folks, this means that World War Three might be about to begin.

The Grand Supercycle collapse may be here.

God have mercy on us all.

No surprise there...it has only been a matter of time. Thanks for being a watchman on this.

U.S. official: Arming of Hezbollah could spark Israel-Syria war

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1143146.html

By Jack Khoury, Haaretz Correspondent

An American source says that Syria allowed Hezbollah operatives to train within its territory in the use of advanced SA2 anti-aircraft missile batteries, the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai reported Sunday.

In an interview, the senior U.S. official warned that if Syria supplies Hezbollah with this type of missile, Israel will bomb Damascus and a war will likely ensue.

According to the official, Israel has warned Syria not to allow the transfer of the SA2 missiles into the hands of Hezbollah, and views the transfer of such missiles as the crossing of a red line.

He added that he did not believe that a war would break out soon, unless one of the sides violated the undeclared agreement not to cross the red lines defined by both sides.

The Second Lebanon War, waged in 2006 between Israel and Hezbollah, turned southern Lebanon into a territory not unlike the Golan Heights, in that it does not enjoy the absence of conflict but rather a fragile cease-fire, the official said.

Since the war ended, the international intelligence community and the United Nations have been closely monitoring the smuggling of weapons from Syria to Hezbollah, but the ongoing smuggling has not yet crossed the so call red lines.

The official added that Israel's top priority at this point is to prevent Hezbollah from obtaining the SA2 missiles, which are controlled from a remote command center. The official stressed that if Syria turns these weapons over to Hezbollah, Israel will not hesitate to strike Syria, including the capital Damascus.

Check back a couple more days. Israel told Lebannon that they were going to be holding military exercises up there near the border. They told them about it so they wouldn't get 'upset' and do something stupid. This is just their way of making Israel look bad and dangerous. Nothing more. And the story *is* posted here somewheres.

I'm going with the just another day in the middle east vibe.....I'm not convinced anything is going to happen to Iran, it should have happened years ago. And you know what, if Syria and Iran are going to arm hezzbula, and anyone else so they can wontonly bomb and murder Israelis, then they should reap the wind, for all I care.

We have the tools, but not the will, they have the will and not the tools....this whole thing will be decided when either us or them gets what we don't have first.

Well....I just noticed a bright object next to the crescent moon. Turns out that, in the wake of the solar eclipse on January 15th that market the potential peak of the Primary Wave 2 rally from last March, the moon is now conjunct Jupiter and Neptune tonight as Jupiter is entering the sign of Pisces:

http://www.pa.msu.edu/abrams/nightskynotes/

http://planetaryapothecary.com/2010/01/jupiter-in-pisces/

So what?

Well, first off there's the issue of Kremlin Astrology:

http://www.spiritoftruth.org/astrology.htm

However, given how the stock market, which is an excellent barometer of mass e-motion (energy in motion), moves correspondingly with the motions of the sun, moon and planets as well, I'm starting to believe the ancient adage, "As Above, So Below":

In accordance with the various levels of reality: physical, mental, and spiritual, this relates that what happens on any level happens on every other. This is however more often used in the sense of the microcosm and the macrocosm. The microcosm is oneself, and the macrocosm is the universe. The macrocosm is as the microcosm, and vice versa; within each lies the other, and through understanding one (usually the microcosm) you can understand the other.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermeticism#As_above.2C_so_below

Apparently, "Hermeticism" also accepts the notion of reincarnation, which I believe there is convincing evidence for as well:

http://www.spiritoftruth.org/reincarnationvideos.htm

Thus, it should come as no surprise that prophetic events are starting to transpire in tune with ancient wisdom about reality that has long since been rejected by modern man....both in terms of science AND religion (man's current knowledge and wisdom; reason and faith).

Why?

Because man as a species right now is completely out of touch with reality....with God's truth.

Flames of ignorance, irrationality and unrighteousness will likely follow this post.

But really....I'm just interested in the truth.

What are YOU interested in?

BTW, you might note that Jupiter symbolizes kings and Pisces, the fish sign, is the sign of Christ.

I wonder what that means?

Well....perceiving that 'The Big One' is just around the corner I guess comes with wanting to know the truth REGARDLESS OF WHAT ONE MAY WANT TO BELIEVE....OR 'MAKE BELIEVE' AS IT IS.

And that's why your handle is "TheSearcher". Most aren't even looking because they are having too much pleasure in unrighteousness.

We are open-minded to the truth and open-hearted to God's love and this is paramount for salvation IMHO regardless of what "the church" may want us all to believe so that it may collect a rent on God's redemption....one of the greatest potential frauds imaginable.

Give the news time to catch up with the crying of Lebanon and Syria about Israeli's actions on the blue line. There will be a call for condemnation from the arabs to the UN about the intrusion into their territory and the finger shaking will begin.

Should see this by tomorrow evening at the latest.

"Could be so, but the Elliott Wave patterns into the current juncture suggest something of historically unprecedented magnitude is about to unfold."

Could this be related to Isaiah 17:1 ? Damascus, worlds oldest city. If not, then when will it be taken away from being a city and become a ruinous heap?
Sounds like Israel means business.

Damascus may end up a ruinous heap, but so to will Israeli and American cities IMHO. That America and the West believe they are above God's judgment and military conquest is rather telltale nowadays, especially given that we could not be any more ripe for such a fate.

Mashaal: If IDF attacks Gaza again, Hamas will turn Israel into a cemetery
By JPOST.COM STAFF

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1263147902307&pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal on Friday warned Israel against further strikes on the Gaza Strip, according to an Israel Radio report.

If Israel attacks again, Mashaal was quoted as saying, Gaza will not be defeated, and will instead turn into a "cemetery."

Speaking during a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad Haririr, the Hamas leader also called on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to restart reconciliation talks between rival Palestinian factions.Hamas and Fatah must "turn over a new page," he said.

Regarding Egypt's construction of a wall along its border with the Strip, Mashaal said, "Walls are built between enemies, not between brothers."

Israel reassures Lebanon before IDF exercises

Just days after defense minister's threat to Beirut, Israel clarifies that troop deployment along northern border is for exercise, not incursion into Lebanon. Arab paper reports US warns Beirut: If Hezbollah obtains STA missiles, may not be able to prevent Israeli response.

London-based newspaper Asharq Alawsat reported Friday that Israel has assured Lebanon that increased IDF troops and army exercises along the Lebanese border are intended as preparation for military maneuvers, and not as preparation for any incursions into Lebanese territory.

The newspaper said that the message was sent via the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in an attempt to prevent increased tension between the two states, which has been running high in recent months due to a number of incidents in southern Lebanon, an increase in Hezbollah activity along the border and reports of its rearmament.

In addition, according to the London paper, US President Barak Obama said to his Lebanese counterpart Michel Suleiman that if Hezbollah succeeds in obtaining surface-to-air missiles, Israel may feel compelled to deploy its military, which will be hard for the US to prevent.

The Lebanese daily an-Nahar reported that US National Security Advisor James Jones will arrive Friday in Beirut, where he is due to meet senior political figures including President Suleiman. The newspaper said that the US visitor and his hosts will discuss the regional situation and the relations between the two states including US military aid to Lebanon.

Psalm 83 may be the war before the Ezekiel 38 war

The countries listed in Psalm 83 are not listed in Ezekiel 38 Gog war. The ones in Psalm 83 are the neighbors who share borders closer to Israel. Prior to the Gog war, Israel is said to be living in peace and security. It is thought that perhaps the reason Israel is living in peace and security is that God has taken care of the immediate neighbors and Psalm 83 may describe that attack. The defense of Israel in Psalm 83 describes "Make them like a wheel, as the stubble before the wind. As fire burneth a wood, as the flame setteth the mountains on fire. So percecute them with thy tempest and make them afraid with thy storm." That brings to mind a type of fire storm or perhaps volcanic eruption, maybe nuclear :shr: Israel is NOT living in peace and security at present and until that happens, Gog can't happen. Those other countries aren't mentioned in the Gog war, it's possible they could be the "many people's" but they have been significant enemies of Israel throughout history, you would think they would have been listed if they were in that war.

I'm with you on this. There are many debates about various scenarios but I think this one comes closest to the Biblical explanation.

Breaking News - Israeli Jets Over Lebanon

Breaking news - Isreali Jets have been overflying Lebanon since the crack of dawn. These appear to be not one off isolated violations but a large number of violations in quick succession suggesting a targeted campaign by the Israelis. Unconfirmed reports suggest these are linked to intelligence that Hezbollah are smuggling in sensitive military gear of an unknown type. These could possibly be SAMs or guided rockets that could strike accurately deep inside Israel.

Saad Hariri fears "an Israeli intervention"

http://www.iloubnan.info/politics/actualite/id/41852

AFP / iloubnan.info - January 20, 2010

BEIRUT – Prime Minister Saad Hariri said he fears “an Israeli intervention” in Lebanon after the recent increase in the number of Israeli overflights over Lebanese territories in an interview to French daily “Le Monde” on Wednesday. “We fear an Israeli intervention. Last week, 25 Israeli overflights happened in just one day in Lebanon”, declared the Prime Minister who starts on Wednesday an official visit to France in order to discuss peace efforts in the Middle East and bilateral relations.

On January 12, Israel warned Lebanon and Hezbollah against any attempt to jeopardize the “calm” on the Israeli-Lebanese border, accusing Hezbollah of continuing to “strengthen with the help of Syria and Iran”. “Israel thinks that by attacking the South, it is not attacking the whole country, or that when it hits Dahyie, it is not Lebanon? This is absurd” said Saad Hariri. “In 2006 what did the Israeli do? Every bridge in Lebanon was destroyed. Wasn’t this an attack against Lebanon?” he went on evoking the Israeli war on Lebanon that left over Lebanese 1.200 killed, mainly civilians, and 160 Israeli killed, mainly soldiers.

In Paris, his first official visit in a Western country since the formation of his government at the end of 2009, Saad Hariri will meet with President Nicolas Sarkozy. He will also meet with French businessmen and sign several bilateral agreements.

Hariri: Ya think? You allow Iran and Syria to arm Hezbollah to the teeth in blatant violation of the UN resolutions after the war of 2006, and you actually wonder why Israel is sending in surveillance and demonstrating any concern?
But then again, Hariri's just a poor sad Hezbollah puppet, so he has to say stupid things like this.

God has a plan, Trust it!
Well, scripture says it will all be coming "from the North" onto Israel, so I think while Russia and Iran will be involved, it will be Lebanon and Syria that will be the "surrogate" for the initial fighting.

Report: Israel to Strike Iran in March, Lebanon Could Get Involved

http://www.naharnet.com/domino/tn/NewsDesk.nsf/getstory?openform&044EB8F3F0EF7045C22576B1002B1C00

Diplomatic sources haven't ruled out to al-Liwaa newspaper Lebanon's involvement in a possible war between Israel and Iran. The sources told the daily that the Jewish state is planning in coordination with the U.S. to strike Iranian nuclear states next March.

Israel and the U.S. will not allow Iran to put into operation its nuclear project, the diplomat said, adding that the Jewish state's seven-member inner cabinet has given the green light for the attack.

The sources didn't rule out the involvement of Lebanon and the Gaza strip in the war, in response to the Israeli attack.

Last week, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned Hizbullah to "avoid entering in conflict with us."

"We need to constantly prepare for a change in the status quo, though we don't know when it will occur," he said. "We don't want for it to happen, and it might not, but we will not be afraid to react if we have to fight back."

Top U.S. general David Petraeus also said earlier this month that Washington has developed contingency plans to address Iran's nuclear ambitions if negotiations falter.

Petraeus, who heads U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) that oversees the Middle East, told CNN that Iran's nuclear facilities "certainly can be bombed," even though they are reported to be heavily fortified.
