Arkansas Safe Room / Shelter Program
Who is Eligible: Homeowners who install a safe room in their home or a shelter on their property after 21 January 1999
Deadline and Restrictions: At the present there is no deadline. We will fund in the order the applications are received. One rebate per individual for perpetuity.
Funding Range: 50% of cost and installation, not to exceed $1,000.
Grant Description: Rebate to Arkansas homeowners who choose to install a shelter or safe room on their property.

Sounds like a good way for the bureacrats and authorities to figure out who's "holding".

For the max of $1000, IMNSHO, its not worth it to clue them in.

Very true, but why let the government know for a mere $1000 max? Half the advantage of having a safe room is not letting anyone know about it.

Its gonna really suck when you head to your shelter and find it already filled with low level bureacrats and their extended families. ;)

They'll all be mad when the show up and see a mound of dirt with a hole and some *EMURGENCY SHELTIR* signs made out of old barn wood.
