Unprecedented measures are being taken to try and create an Ebola vaccine.

University of Illinois Hospital's Dr. Rick Novak has worked on HIV vaccines for years, but now his attention is turned toward trying to find an Ebola vaccine.

Novak says the world has never worked so hard on a vaccine. It's fast-tracked, meaning it could be rolled out before Thanksgiving and immediately used.

"It would go directly to West Africa, and give to about 10,000 at-risk individuals in West Africa," Novak said.

Not that I want this vaccine at all.... but what if there is a huge outbreak here. Does it still go overseas first?

Shouldn't our country and those that want it, be given first opportunity?

ebola mutates as fast as aids and is just as hard to make a vax for because of the fast unpredictable mutation rate

so this guy has labored unsuccessfully for years to make an aids vax

but will be able to complete just as complex a vax invention by thanksgiving

Most likely the antidote for the Ebola Virus was make before they released it in Africa.

Does anyone think the Sheeples will get the good vaccines?

Do you think your government cares for it's people? Personally I don't!

So far they have not followed the drill of what should have been done, when a pandemic virus breaks out!

Interestingly enough I had come up with a theory about this "vaccination ". What if they created enough scare tactic and forth vaccination that that would be very little backlash for it, that with this vaccination it also includes an RF ID transmitter another words you're chipped

They will show bleeding, dead children in the streets and then they will make it mandatory, painting you as a child killer if you don't take it.

Funny how an isolated disease with only a few hundred victims a year brought about multi-million dollar research and vaccine development for people who make $800 a year. And it providentially is ready just when Ebola starts getting big. Yep, that's hilarious.

if they come out w/ a vax fast i will be convinced the whole shebang was engineered

as it is i think they are trying to use a natural outbreak as a weapon of mass destruction to accomplish depopulation

It will go to West Africa first so they can use them as human guinea pigs.

So in otherwords, that is where the first human testing trials will take place.

If it works, it will be deemed safe and effective for other countries. V

Yes, I have a feeling anyone taking their vaccines will be human guinea pigs.

They've done this for years in backwards countries where the people are ignorant or have no rights.

Not surprised at all and it's the only logical reason they want to use any Ebola vax they come up with on the West Africans. V

I find this guy to not understand exactly what is involved in deploying a new vaccine.

First, you must do all the research to develop the vaccine.

Second, you must produce the vaccine in mass.

Third, you must ship the vaccine to where it is needed.

The man says they will have some 10,000 doses by Thanksgiving, and implies this will solve the Ebola problem.

Doomer Doug hates to tell him that there will be over ONE MILLION EBOLA CASES IN WEST AFRICA BY JANUARY 31ST, 2015.

THERE WILL 550,000 BY THE END OF DECEMBER 2014. THERE WILL BE OVER 300,000 BY THANKSGIVING, JUST IN WEST AFRICA ALONE. They may/will have 10,000 doses by Thanksgiving.

Yep, we got a PR move here. I guess the other 290,000 will just have to die quietly.

GEt back to me after you have at LEAST done Phase 1 and Phase 2 testing.

You have a boatload more trust in science/big pharm in particular and the system in general than I do. At this point in history, you couldn't drag me to the neighborhood dispensary for the latest "vaccine".

Gotta hand it to Big Brother though, the idea of having it ready for the holidays gives me the warm fuzzies.

actually it'll be totally ineffective. it's being sent to africa where no one here will know if it's effective and they can claim what they want. this whole vaccine ruse is just to keep the people spending and the economy going with the hope of a cure "if it gets really bad here".
