He's a white chipmunk. There's another one in the hole (he's white too!) and you can just barely make out one of his eyes and the tip of his nose.

No biggie seeing white critters in the woods......but TWO at once?!

I'm going out there in a few days with a better camera to see if I can get some good shots. Unfortunately, there was also a coyote about 300 yards away as well. I hope that they're still there when I get back. I want more (better) pictures!!!!!!

You want deer, come visit me... :D

We've got a couple youngsters this year, noticed one down by the barn on Saturday, still had his spots...

Back in the 90s, when I first lived here, a hunting club rented the property. They'ld camp out in the back field for the entire deer season. Tree stands everywhere...

But the new landlord said no hunting. So now we've got a resident family of at least 24 deer, that spend all their time on the ~600 acres of farmland on this side of the street...

But the street is a problem. At least a couple a year get hit in front of the house. Dumb animals, they've got all this land to party on, and they hang out in the road... ...

Especially white critters that don't seem to be albinos. :shr:
