I had a dream last night

Here is how it went....

I was in sixth grade going to school. We had just gotten back from a field trip and are back at the school. My older friend left to go to a college field trip while I was about to got back to classes. Then the bomb went off. The eachers opened up an access hole that wen to a crawl space that was of unknown size running under neath the school. They ha all of us kids go in there and gave us all some sort of light source. One kid got an idea instaed of laying flat on our bellies why not make it taller in there? The teachers continued putting us down there. Me and my sister got out after all that and wondered around the school looking for our dog that had wondered with us to school that day and was now inside roaming the halls. We went to look for some food and found a bottle of GeigerMeifter which the teacher took once we were found. We were told to go back into the hole. For some reason the teachers chose to stay above ground in the school in a room that was lined with books on top and the walls in case any one tried to break into the school. The kid that started to dig found some sand bags down there. A lot of them. Apparently they were from the cuban missle crisis and so instead of using a bucket to pile ddirt against the door the door was sand bagged. Ajnd as it was dug out the footings were braced and made taller. After a while it was comfortable to walk around in there. While we were up there we stumbled across a weird ventilation fan that fed air to the crawl space and it looked really weird, some kind of adapted blower motor to force air througout the crawl space, and at that spot we found food and water for the people down there. After things had cooled off we came out of the hole the walls of the school were well protected as all the sand bags were fille with all that dirt lining all the walls. Somehow the ceiling was thick enough tof a roof with the stories to stop the readiation from coming down. Our dog had lost its nice coat of hair. It looked pitifull. Someone said it had taken a good dose but would live. Some of the teachers were gone. All of the kids were fine but showed some signs of radiation sickness from where turns were taken chucking sand bags out of the hole to line the walls.

At that point I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. Usually when I have dreams along these lines I'm the last one of a group left in some sort of military action. But this one is more disturbing a one than I've had in a while.
