Oh, wait........ I forgot it's no longer possible. No paper trail. All electronic voting. Oh well, I guess the Man and his Machine know best, right? I mean, Republicans would never steal votes........ would they? Afterall, that's why we have these wonderful machines that produce no receipts of any kind...... to help _minimise_ vote fraud, right? It's much harder to steal votes when the only record of how someone voted is stored in computer memory. Computers don't cheat and Republicans are saints.

Ok, I've calmed myself back down. False alarm. I know in my heart that Jeb's video game voting booths are keeping good track of our votes. :spns:

On TB every waking moment
My California County was 60.25% Bush and 37.92% Kerry. Pretty decisive local mandate.

You must be up north. My condolences. I fled Der Peoples Republik of Kalifornia a decade ago and never looked back. I did have the satisfaction of working with the Citizens Against Corruption for the effort to successfully unseat Mike Roos, cosponsor of the Roberti-Roos Assault Weapon Ban in Kali before leaving. Roberti won, but was investigated by the FBI for corruption after our group sent out mailers about it to every voter in his district. Roberti resigned six months after barely winning his 'sure thing' district due to that investigation. He referred to us as 'political terrorists'. :D

Milkydoo, sorry for your loss.
You are not alone.
Tom, Dan, Peter, Katie, Judy, Wolfe.... the list of those suprised is very long.

The average middle American overwhelmingly voted to re-elect the President.
I know it must be a big suprise for you, half of my friends were worried about the President not winning. I had no doubt.

So you not only miss my point (not surprising) but consider a few million votes to be 'overwhelming'? Overwhelming for me would be _at least_ a difference of 10 million, if not more. 3.5 million (CNN) is a divided nation, not a mandate.
