Ok I guess this is as good a place as any to ask this question. As I said earlier in the thread, several of my immediate family members have COVID. My son has finally turned the corner but some of the others, not so much. Anyway, three of them are having severe anxiety….a couple to the point they can’t sleep at all, and when they do, they have weird thoughts and dreams. My dil is so bad that her doctor prescribed a sedative for her so she can try and get some rest.
It’s all just so strange to me because this is so out of character for all of them. Dil told me that she was told that the “brain fog “ is one of the side effects, so I don’t know. My question is….have any of you who have, or have had COVID had this happen? Thanks in advance for any replies because this is really troubling to me!
I read somewhere (front line doctors I think) that they give melatonin because c19 makes it harder to fall asleep. Also they give antidepressants to those hospitalized because of Nightmares and general floating anxiety seems a side effect also
