On most RV's the tires degrade because of the sunlight, not because of mileage. Inspect the tires carefully and see if you can find little tiny cracks all over it. If you do the light has gotten to them. Last week I got a new RV and one of the reasons was because the tires on my old one were 7 yrs. old with less than 5000 miles on them. I had to drive about 175 miles to make the trade and was praying all the way not to have a blowout. The only reason I kept the others as long as I did was because we nearly always camp no more than 75 miles from home. Unless the camper you mentioned was kept inside when not in use, I would replace the tires or just use the camper locally. tnhillbilly
