Greta Thunberg's online climate change cover-up

Climate change alarmist Greta Thunberg has made a living by scaring millions of children into believing the world will end because of climate change. But now, it appears even she might be skeptical of the alarmist rhetoric.

Thunberg is trying to cover her tracks after yet another climate change doomsday prediction did not come true. Thunberg reportedly deleted a tweet from 2018 that claimed unless the planet stopped using fossil fuels over the next five years, climate change would inevitably cause the demise of human civilization.

"How dare she!"

Thunberg was a silly, indoctrinated teenager at that time, so the schadenfreude over her Twitter failure should probably be somewhat curbed, even if she is an arrogant climate alarmist fanatic. And Thunberg's error of doomsday prognostication has been repeated multiple times by many older people, supposedly wiser than her. Essentially, she was repeating what she was taught. This isn't to excuse her in any way but merely point out that she is a symptom of the radical Left's rhetoric on climate change.

Consider just some of the many exaggerated claims of impending doom the climate change cult has been incorrect about.

For years, Glacier National Park posted signs warning that all of its glaciers would disappear by 2020 due to climate change. These were signs funded and promoted by the national government and placed throughout the park so that visitors could see them and reinforce that warning. Then, in June 2019, the park quietly removed the signs. Why? Because the predictions of impending doom were completely wrong. The amount of snow from previous years exceeded forecasts and projections of climate "experts" and scientists.

Bob Woodruff, a journalist for ABC News, promoted Earth 2100 in June 2008 on Good Morning America. Woodruff declared that by June 2015, climate change would cause New York City to be underwater. Well, how did that work out? Other ominous but false predictions from this television special included the estimate that it would cost $9 for a gallon of gas and $12.99 for a gallon of milk — all stemming from climate change.

In 2006, former Vice President Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, proclaimed that "unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gasses are taken within the next ten years, the world will reach a point of no return." Peter Wadhams, another so-called expert and professor of ocean physics, stated in 2012 that Arctic sea ice would be gone by 2016.

Trust the science? Trust the experts? These people couldn't guess tomorrow's weather, yet the world is supposed to believe their "science" regarding the planet years or decades from now. It's sheer nonsense. In what other profession would such people still have jobs or any credibility left?

This brings me back to Thunberg. She might be young, but her fearmongering is the oldest thing in the world of environmental politics. There's a reason she deleted the tweet and a reason she tried to do it inconspicuously. After the repeated failures of the climate change industrial complex, Thunberg showed she is the latest victim to fall for the hysteria and the latest to get caught promoting scientific nonsense.

And all the things I've read in the past about the sea covering almost all of Louisiana. Of course there are areas along the coast in South Louisiana that have reclaimed the marshes that filling in with dirt caused. A pox on them.

Where I lived when Katrina happened is still not under water, flooded during Katrina yes, but not permanently under water. Lot of house rebuilt are not on stilts.

It's not "Climate Change" that's going to kill us, it's TOXIC WASTE and STUPID POLITICIANS. Our world is soooo inundated with disease and cancer causing chemicals it's not funny....BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY!! Remember that phrase? Well that's causing all kinds of hell. It's in our soil, our water, our air, our homes, our clothes, our food....you name it and there's something toxic and disease causing in it......all thanks to BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY.

Thousands of years from now when future archeologists dig down to uncover our civilization's remains, they will call it the TOXIC LAYER! :hof:

As for STUPID POLITICIANS, I don't even need to outline that issue. It's as plain as the nose on your face. All this crap in Europe right now.....is on STUPID POLITICIANS. The majority of crap in our country....STUPID POLITICIANS. Wars....STUPID POLITICIANS. Crime....STUPID POLITICIANS. Illegals invading our country......STUPID POLITICIANS. You name a trouble.....name a problem, name just about any failure.....and behind it are STUPID POLITICIANS. :bhd:

More greenhouse gasses are emmitted from the use of the world wide computer systems that run the world then all the airlines combined, and we all know there are thousands of flights each day. Gretta wants to save the world, then shut down the electronic networks she uses to communicate.

When we took our last Alaska cruise we went into Glacier Bay. The guide told passengers that the ice had once filled the bay but dumped out when global warming melted it, forcing the locals to move to an island some distance away. The passengers were highly incensed, and ranting about irresponsible modern culture. They handed out a brochure on the bay, which points out that the ice has melted out and refilled multiple times over the last few thousand years, and the current melting started in 1730 or so. This information had absolutely no impact on all the righteous indignation.

Responsible conservation can be a good thing. What we've seen out of the eco-nuts movement for decades is not responsible conservation: It's largely been a massive case of power and control maneuvers.

Exactly like the catch all (and grossly over-used) phrase, "It's for the children" Thunberg and anything seen as "Green" has become a magic talisman which magically creates money. This comes in the form of everything from government tax credits, contracts and grants to private, corporate donations. All of these tend to be highly incestuous financial relationships, as the big players in the environmental cabal have learned - both singly and as a lobby - to milk the system.

But, c'mon, you know that it's all for the children...

The giant wind turbines kill hundreds of thousands of birds a year. By the time they pay for them selves, they need to be rebuilt.

For personal use I like wind turbines, but wish we had cheaper and more effective wind turbines with the ability to furrow in high winds.

Or as this guy puts it for windpumps:

Quote..

The back of the windpump has a tail that turns the sails into the wind and is also fitted with a safety feature which is connected to the gearbox fitted on top. When the wind speed gets too fast the tail automatically turns the sails away from the wind – this protects the gearbox from turning too fast and damaging the pump below.

End quote. From:

A high wind brake is a must one would think.

With our stupid politicians killing us, I expect to see mushroom clouds anytime now. They will kill us before the toxic waste has a chance to.
