I just wanted to let people know about these great planters, who might not already know. They are awesome for those who have small yards, or health problems that prohibit them from gardening. You can just walk out onto your deck to pick things for your meals.. I love them, and just ordered my second one. They are having their annual Mother’s Day sale I think until the 8th.
They only take up 2 square feet of space, and have a special watering system. You can order a spinner base to enable turning it so each side gets enough sun. There is also a base with wheels so it can be moved into a different area or into a garage.
If you get the original planter it has 10” pockets. People are growing everything in them, including potatoes and sweet potatoes. It’s amazing the amount of food that can be grown in such a small area. I have strawberries and lettuce in mine so the slugs can’t get them as easy. The new one will have a mix of herbs, peppers, and a few flowers.
