I don't have time to watch videos, but I'll say one thing about buttermaking... the KEY to good butter (aside from starting with good cream) is to rinse, and rinse and rinse... and once your sure the water is clear of all buttermilk.. rinse it a couple more times!

If you leave ANY buttermilk in, after 3 days, when you heat it in a pan, it will smell like someone puked in the pan!

Summerthyme (still trying to find the most efficient way to do that, as I make 6# at a time in a 5 gall9n pail with a homemade stainless steel whisk powered with a battery drill)

Thanks for letting me know! I can handle a lot of stuff, but pukey smell is beyond me. :kk1:
