Does anyone know of a good repair shop either in the Portland/Vancouver area, or the Olympia, WA area?
I just want to get my front brake pads and rotors replaced. Looking at PartsAmerica.com (Schucks/Kragen/Checker), the "premium/performance" parts would cost about $200, or the standard stuff for about $120.
The dealership, LAST MONTH, quoted me $420, parts+labor. I have no desire to touch the car mechanically, so I figured that $420 wouldn't be too bad. THIS MONTH, the quote is $540, which seems freakin' insane.
I'll probably call around other dealerships for quotes, but just in case someone in the area knows a good place...let me know.
