Raining pretty hard in my neck of the woods, if there's hail I haven't heard it. Probably for another couple of hours.

Not a drop in my AO, but silent lightning all over the place. Current temp is 80° and muggy as hell. Soupy atmosphere. Not good.

Gosh, I just found this thread. We were without power for the better part of 4 days starting on Thursday. We didn't get this part of the storm, we got the huge blob that hit and came down from Killeen. We missed the giant hail, but got upwards of 5" of rain and wind gusts that took down many, many trees and power poles/lines. Not far from us the NWS is investigating to determine if the winds were tornadic or straight line; significant damage out that way.

I think we've had over 20" of rain in the last few weeks. Haven't gotten the garden in yet, and at this point with our summer heat it may be too late. I'm just thankful that our house is on higher ground.

And, we're forecasted for heavy rains tomorrow into the early morning hours of Friday. Possibly severe weather, but the greatest concern is more rainfall in areas that are already saturated. Hoping for just the 2.5" expected, and not the 4-6" plus that is feared. I just finished restacking our freezer with more frozen water bottles in case we lose power again.

We're all having rainfalls and flooding not seen since Hurricane Harvey. This is really very odd weather here.
