Water Frost Free cattle waterer question

Like many Northern States, we in New Hampshire experience severe Winter temperatures and struggle with keeping our livestock in liquid water resources. I'm trying to decide on a frost free system for the new pasture and have seen several advertised. The one that interests me the most is called DRINKING POST automatic waterer.

Does anyone have experience with this (or another) system? It's quite an investment.

They claim that because it's seven or eight feet long, with most of it in the ground, it can't be disturbed by scratching etc. (Now you understand why I'm asking for opinions lol)

Thanks West, a few details are in order here I guess... It's a remote pasture with a solar powered well so that rules out using electric heaters and makes transporting water quite a chore. We get very long spells of overcast cold weather such that, no matter how insulated the trough, it will freeze. I've seen ads for the ball openings but still, I have to feed the waterer from underground to avoid freezing the line.
Sort of convinced that the Drinking Post is the way to go but looking for user recommendations or critiques before pulling the trigger. :D
