Sometimes it's dangerous to be inside a plasticbag.
If you see someone in trouble - even a teddybear - there's only one thing to do...

Hope in chains...
I just saw the sweetest thing at safeway where I go if I'm out of data at nite.. 2 employees came out on their break, pretty cat came out from behind their stack of firewood, they had a bowl with I assume was cat food, put it down and watched kitty eat. Cat finished, went back into firewood. Wow.

Just an observation looking at the pictures.

Dogs seem to be a happy sort, always a smile on their face.

Cats seem grumpy, never quite satisfied in any situation.

I thought that until we adopted Miss Kitty. I call her my CAT-ahoula. She is just like the pups in her personality and has to be loved on all the time. Her sister was a bitch and bit DH once. Miss Kitty squalled at her in cat-ese for an hour. She never did that again. Now, she is as lovey as her sister.

i love seeing acts of kindness
I have a very sweet, dear Friend who, twice a day goes over to his neighbors and gets down on his stomach (no matter what the weather is) to feed a Momma cat and her kittens. He buys them their favorite flavor cat food (which he strove to find over time).

Now he's going to make them a heated box to dwell in for the winter.

He's a very sweet and special BFF.

Many years ago, before my oldest daughter was married, she was working at a gas station convenience store. She spotted a cat living under a shed behind the store, and brought it home -- the day before it had kittens. Store employees (often) are big softies!
