@writerrecluse Had to come post just to say I love the undercover mule! It makes me laugh despite him being used for a very serious reason.

We got some serious synchronicity going on here Deena - I am sitting at my computer reading Potters' Run and refreshing new posts off and on. As God is my witness, I am on page 234 right now, reading about Tony's undercover mule.
Bought 2 more copies today, it took some stones to write and publish this book at this time in our history as a nation.
Kudos @writerrecluse.
As I often describe myself as MO MULE thru n thru, I too was tickled by Tony's mules.@writerrecluse Had to come post just to say I love the undercover mule! It makes me laugh despite him being used for a very serious reason.

...I just pray I don't give in to the giggles and do a science experiment and see if I can trick out my goat herds in similar fashion

Just finished this most excellent book this morning. You are a masterful storyteller!! Can’t wait for the next book in the series. I can easily see this being a movie (and I would be cheering and applauding at times and crying at others).
There are (a few) more where that came from, all have gotten good reviews thus farLoved this book
Hmm. Some of the military paranormal, and the moon series, the first book at least, would make even better movies, just for the scenery and images alone. Hint Hint. I think that is what is called "teasing a product" lol... but if you do grab another story you won't be disappointed!Just finished this most excellent book this morning. Easiest way is to copy and paste.Hey Folks,
I've had to take a break from work on the sequel for a few weeks for a job that came up unexpectedly, I should be done in two weeks or so and I'll get right back at it. I estimate I'm about two months out from publication of the sequel once I get back to writing.
The sequel will be titled Potter's Stand and the final book in the series will be Potter's War.
I've got the cover art finished but I haven't figured out how to post a picture here. If some one could give me some guidance I'll be happy to put it up here.
Thanks,
Chuck
Ok, thanks, I'll get to work on that.Easiest way is to copy and paste.
If you get a message that says, File too big
You can use a simple program like Paint to reduce the size.

Thanks for the input… I don’t want to get into spoilers, but I will say, I don’t really start a book any more knowing who all is going to die or when. Some of it just unfolds as I write.I gotta be honest, you killed the girl off too soon.
I’ll do my best, just doing some expectation management! We are looking at some maintenance and weather delays over the next few days, so I might gets some writing done.Your sequels- err I mean You- haven't been forgotten; have the date circled on the calendar
Whoa! Sorry? But, glad it’s so engaging for you!Glad to see you back! Was thinking about you just yesterday.
I haven't finished Potter's Run yet, though I am enjoying it immensely. I usually read before bed. But after I dreamed "we" (whoever that is) were on the ground hiding from the "enemy" (who?) I decided daytime would be a better choice for my reading pleasure!
Thanks! I don’t like to make them particularly long, it’s looking like the next one may be a little longer though.Potter's Run was an excellent read, I read it all in one day. I'm looking forward to the sequels.
Two months???!!!???? I'm like a heroin junkie over here. I need my fix man. Just a little taste. I'll do anything...Hey Folks,

If need be, I have a decent connection here and I can post it for you.Ok, thanks, I'll get to work on that.
Wow, thanks! I’ll work as fast as I can, but I really try to improve with every book so I don’t want to rush it. Maybe, when the first chapter is polished and ready, I’ll see if there is some way to put it up for folks to read a bit of it in advance. Two months???!!!???? I'm like a heroin junkie over here. I can't wait for the next book to come out. In the middle of re-reading Potters Run now. It is even better the second time, and still puts me right in the middle of the story. The whole story is scary close to what could happen in this country. Heck, most of the parts have happened before, just not all at once.
I am looking forward to reading it when it is released!
Hey, that would be great, do you have the copy I sent you previously or should I resend it?If need be, I have a decent connection here and I can post it for you.
Thanks, working on it as we type!Just finished the book. I recommend it highly. Cant wait for the next one
Pretty sure I still have it, if it's been deleted I'll shoot you an email and we can figure it out.Wow, thanks! I’m off to bed now. I have to hold the dumb end of a wrench tomorrow then do some test flights, then most l

Thanks for putting that up, I'm finally figuring out how to resize things. Thought I posted a thank you earlier but I don't see it, so sorry I didn't get posted sooner.
Two more weeks on this contract and I can focus on writing full time again.
I'm glad to hear you are safe and sound. I can't wait to read the next book. Cough...cough...I could be an earlier reader...cough...coughQuick Update.
Got back from an Alaska gig and got right to work on the sequel. I got the rough draft of Potter's Stand finished and out to initial readers (including some very kind folks here who were willing to suffer through all my early mistakes to help me make it a better book, THANKS!)
Anyway, to celebrate, I've got the ebook of Potters' Run up for free on Amazon for the next three days. Also, for anyone who might be interested in the book but doesn't do ebooks and just can't afford a 14 buck paper back, after this last year, believe me, I get it. I've got a couple copies I can give away free here, so for the first three people that email/pm/dm me, I'll send them out to you.
Thanks again everyone.
Just sent you a conversation, Thanks!I'm glad to hear you are safe and sound. I can't wait to read the next book. Cough...cough...I could be an earlier reader...cough...cough
That is very generous of you to give away a few copies of your book.
