Cary responded to you, because we are in the same neck of the woods. Husband and wife in case you didn't know. In the past 3 months, we've experienced a bit of that doom and gloom on a personal basis. Finally, heeded the warning to get all money out of the bank. Live and learn.
I’m so sorry what you’ve been through!!

Things like personal doom are so scary!
I pray it’s getting better for you

Elon Musk says Biden flying 320K ‘unvetted’ migrants into the US sets stage ‘for something far worse than 9/11’
The DNC has been loading the bases with foreign legions of combatants for the next Totalitarian Phase of their Fundamental Transformation of the United States of America...

Tucker Carlson - First you allow your country to be invaded, then you hand automatic weapons to the people who invaded it. Doug Macgregor on the worst idea congress has ever had.

Starting Jan 1, 2024 Illinois will be swearing in illegal immigrants as Cops.
Now that Democrats have removed local police, they will be replaced with UN-constitutional foreign combatants to disarm the public when the time comes....

Gun ownership at an all-time high thanks to disastrous Biden Administration and liberal democrat policies

Wake up NYC! Vote the Democrats out and take our city back!

Are Foreign Legions now part of securing DNC fostered de-fund the Police Chaos?

Foreign Police?

Maybe they will start rioting this summer because of Trump doing so well and the prospects of the current idiot in charge loosing big time. Can't have that so we riot.
Yep...

Once Soros gives the orders and money to move on from Free Palestine riots to rage against all things Trump and MAGA destroying America's Democracy...

Wow, this liberal woman protesting seems quite lovely. I'm sure she is on Tinder.

I apologize if I spoke out of line.

Yes. The world is on a hair trigger. I see it everywhere I go. I also see doom and gloom everywhere I go. I read about it here every day. I'm looking for it to get much, much worse as the Bible foretells. I totally agree with what @danielboon said in his post #121.

I have no problem at all with what Elon Musk is saying/doing. I was just questioning why he put the warning out without giving some specifics. What does he know that we don't? I thought it was a valid question/concern, but I guess I was wrong.
I have no doubt he is privy to things we aren't. I think the bottom line is, he was saying all he felt comfortable saying. Honestly, I can't believe he said as much as he did.

On the other hand, we all feel the same way...something big is coming and there is the possibilty his remark came from observing the same things we do. IOW, it could have just been an opinion but being the conspiracy theorist we all are, we naturally assume he knows more than he is revealing.

My honest opinion is that he does and we are probably lucky he tipped his hand at all. Your question was legitimate but none of us can answer it because we don't know what is in his heart so we can't be sure about his motivation. The article Helen posted tells me he's been investigating the situation in Germany and there is no telling what he has uncovered so I'm taking his warning to heart...not that it will change what I'm already doing. It's motivation to go faster and do more.

What has kept the A2 from being revoked?
- what happens if it were to be revoked?

How has A1 been preserved, more or less anyways?
- if there is no right to free speech, if there is no free press, and you the govt says you cannot redress of grievances of the govt?

Suppose the govt could demand to inspect your bank account at any time they choose, without even giving reason, could with no notice confiscate your property, bank account, vehicle, do any of these things as much and as often as the want?
- if the govt can take your property, is that actually your property to begin with?

Need I go on with examples of the rest of the Amendments stating what govt is prohibited and prevented from doing? Sadly is that most of what the amendments were meant to prevent from happening already are being ignored and discarded. More sadly, these amendments, which are negative as in 'the govt shall not do', do not apply to corporations. Hence govt/private partnerships, govt collusion with corporations, fascism.

IMO, the most important is A2 because as you know, the idea was that if all else fails, the govt should be fearful of an armed populace deposing them by whatever means necessary - declaration of independence states that clearly! Without that safeguard, ALL rights mean squat. You and I cease to have any rights. We don't even have the means to revolt.

In a succinct way your validated my my point about being out-voted. Most IAs are here because they believe or were told that they'll receive govt benefits and a better standard of living for themselves and their kids. IE will be paid to come here and paid to or given stuff free so that they stay here, and probably told that they'll be able to vote. Vote maybe not next year but it will happen. In the mean time, they'll get to vote illegally.

Who's side do you suppose those millions will for? If that side (IAs + idiot D voters) outnumbers traditional conservative American citizens, what happens to our rights and our standard of living?

War won without any major fighting necessary. We loose, they won - because they ARE smart and have had this planned for decades, haven't tried facing the A2 armed public head on, and they play(ed) the long game.

IMO, that scenario is 100X worse that 911.

Counselor, your witness.
At this point roughly 10% of people who actually voted for biden (IE: real people) openly state they are voting Trump. Over 60% of people polled, including democrats now admit the 2020 was stolen. You are seeing increasing videos of Blacks openly saying "bring back Trump"......"we NEED Trump back". biden's real approval level is almost single digits.

Yeah they are pulling out all the stops, and so far getting stymied at every turn. I'm not convinced there will be an election. If there is they may be able to steal it again but I'm not convinced. I think this time voters might get a bit violent if they see their votes stolen again. In any case, if they steal the election again everyone will know including all those cross over voters; including all the cross over Black voters (who is the most violent segment of the population?).

I think we are going to have the violence Musk is warning about. Been thinking that for two year+. I think by late summer our financial system will be sagging if not collapsing, and the dumping of the US dollar will be evident to all. If that happens the cross over will turn into a tidal wave against the Cabal (there really is a tiny group running the coup, the rest are useful idiots).

If they steal the vote, or if there is massive invader violence, as in military type organization, I think millions of Americans will go on the shoot. You know, darker skin, heavy accent..... ooooops sorry bout that. Bang Bang. Yeah, some of them will be able to hide out with relatives in big cities, but not outside the big cities. In the RED States I expect most governors will call out the Guard and if it is bad enough, the militia.

Who is really going to suffer? BLUE.

Who is going to get blamed, and suffer the consequences? BLUE.

We haven't lost. We just have to win again.

When you have been through 9/11 first hand, you know those things aren't worse. Those things can be fixed. The death and destruction of a 9/11 event is nothing compared to what you said to those who live through it. Worse than 9/11 is your home, town and even that bank with all your money being crushed to dust. Worse is a foreboding wall of debris heading for you and overcoming you as you run, looking for a place to hide. Dust blocking out the sun for weeks and the stench of death lingering in the air. If you manage to survive, dust making it hard to breathe.

Worse means you live in panic state, not knowing where your children are, if they are safe and how you can maneuver the debris and traffic of thousands of other parents trying to get to their children too find out their fate. Worse is walking in silence, covered in dust with thousands of other people over bridges and down highways for hours to try and get home because all forms of transportation are shut down and you are miles from home. Many walking all night in silence with no way to communicate to loved ones that they are OK.

The last thing on my mind on 9/11 was my bank account, who won or stole votes, our Constitution, investments or even what was going to happen tomorrow. It was more primal than that.

Worse is the months and weeks following, watching your family members leave in the morning to go work on "the Pile" and praying they stay safe and come back to you. Worse is crying at simple things because your days are governed by fear and immense gratitude that you are alive and some of your coworkers are not.

Worse is making hundreds of phone calls in the days that followed trying to contact survivors and find out who lived and who died and where people are. Talking to family members who are in a state of shock and fear because their loved one is unaccounted for. For many of them, they were parents too, living their worst nightmare - their child dying a violent death they could not protect them from.

I worked for the company that was hit by the first airplane at the WTC. I worked in a different metro office. Everyone I talked to in that office daily was gone in a second. Only one person, the manager of the location, survived and he only did because it was his childs first day of kindergarten and he had taken the morning off and wasnt in the office. He normally would have been.

What you describe is "inconvenience", maybe in a problem, but is not worse than 9/11. You are thinking numbers, figures, laws and abstractly with those things. Worse than 9/11 is physical....in its most violent form, not abstract.

9/11 was my wakeup call. I never again want to be in that situation, and if I am, I never want to feel that helplessness again. That is how I found these forums and started prepping seriously. I went so far as to quit that job because the anxiety of going into the city every day sent me into constant panic attacks and sleepless nights worrying about the next day. I lived that way for years following and I just couldnt do it anymore.

Bethsaya, having been at 50 UN Plaza during the 1989 Califonia Earthquake, I can relate. Your situation was even worse and went on longer. But there is nothing like having the Earth move under you enough to knock you down while you watch the collums on the building beside you dance back and forth like a bad movie. When it stops, the falling doesn't. Stuff continues to come off buildings, and the new (unoccupied) Glass sky-scraper in front of you has a ten-story water fountain in the middle (will it stay there)? Already, you see a man in a business suit kicking and cursing an ATM that won't give him any money. You look at the shopping money in your wallet that you took out minutes before and realize it is useless.

Meanwhile, every few minutes, the Earth starts to shake again...never as hard as it did the first time, but you don't do that because it might shake as badly or worse. Then you sit, lucky to be at a tent part of a protest before the quake. There's a burner, coffee, and a giant bag of popcorn. As the women and kids come out of their shaking apartments to sit behind the tent for safety, you notice that you can see the stars for the first time in ages. Until the lights of the Good Year Blimp go over you, provide a brief light. You have heard that the Bay Bridge has fallen and the Harbour is burning. You wonder how a night can last so long...

It was not nearly as bad as what happened in New York; by morning, some transportation was working, and I got home. A few hundred people were killed chiefly at two locations. But it could have been much worse except for the shaking, which lasted for months. At one point, I lost and said to my friend (the same one that came to visit me this past Yule), "Make it stop, just make it stop," and couldn't stop crying.

Worse than 9/11 means people will not be thinking (or caring) about elections, the war in Ukraine, or their stocks. They will be too busy waiting for the dust to settle for real and the shaking to stop (real or metaphorical).

I feel ya, Melodi. It is definitely a physical reaction to disasters, whether man made or nature. Especially when the event is not in your normal experiences. Even after the actual event passes, the emotional toll of being out of control lingers for a long while.

Been thinking about my garage door... interestingly enough... what kind of steel plate can I put behind it to deflect incoming lead. And where do I cut the hole to shoot out of...
Good luck. I visited a buddy of mine one day. He had a piece of 3/8" steel plate with holes punched in it. Some had gilding metal around them. I asked him where he got the AP rounds. He informed me that the holes were made from 50 yards using standard issue M80 ball ammo. Now granted this was plain cold rolled steel but it didn't begin to stop the .308 rounds.

Needs to be expensive hardened steel.
Or needs to be placed at a severe angle so bullet slides along it.

I might rely more after breakfast, but in short, I'm comparing what it would be like to live in the United Soviet States of America, ie, the same way of life that was the ussr and eastern soviet block countries, to live in north korea, versus our far more free and prosperous version of the usa as we know it today.

Those situations (ussr) rarely change for the better, and as you know, the ussr governance fell because they ran out of money, and only because they had a formidable opponent to outspend them. Generations of living in miserable conditions with no hope of any better. BTW, that would apply to all of the western world and not only the usa if the D/DS, ie communistic authoritarians reigned unopposed.

I had moved out of NYC about a year before 911, I've never lived through an earthquake, or a tornado, or warfare, so I've never been in the heart of a traumatizing situation. I've never lived on the soviet side of what used to be the wall or in such destitute a situation thankfully. I've read enough about the later and history, and recognize that billions of people are affected. I have visited first hand areas of the country where I live now in which life is very very rough. I would very very much not want that sort of life.

That is what I am seeing as a not so small possibility if the D/DS manage to create a majority voting block in their favor.
Not to belittle 911, or any huge natural disasters, but in comparison to what I see coming in a rather protracted way that isn't so obvious to many.... the overall loss, misery, and deaths would be orders of magnitude higher than 911.

Buckets of sand or sandbags will work better most rifle calibers will punch thru steel plate like butter.
Sand will stop a bullet and is easy to handle.
I think there are several "depends" and "if's" on some of the thoughts on steel plate. Set at 90 degrees and 50 yards that is probably true.

Set at 45 degrees and 150 yards, probably not so much.

Meaning distance, angle, and caliber.

Some friends of mine got a piece of ...... I think it was 1/4 inch steel plate, could have been thicker, I don't really remember. They set it at 90 degrees and one shot it with a .223 and it was splatter and some scoring. Compared to a 22-250 which cut a small divot. Neither went through, at 100 yards. It was a practice run and experiment at the same time, for using as a back stop, and if it would be safe.

They ended up setting it at 45 degrees and used it as a back stop for target practice. The bullets would hit and ricochet into the ground.

The shooting range on the club is 2 dump trucks of sand as a back stop at measured distances. 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, yards. From the covered table for shooting. With some plywood out front to attach targets. The plywood doesn't last long.

Just as a secondary thought: I wonder how much velocity the bullet had after going through 3/8 of steel? Enough to kill, or just bruise as a plated vest would do?

On the range . Too be used to harden a home it would take up a lot of space .
The plates in my vest will take a mag dump from a ak and all that will happen is the spalling will chip off . If one could afford a couple of large sheets of AR 500 plate steel then that would be better.

As for preps and barter, for the non squeamish:

Last year I did some experimenting. It is legal in my State to make beer. It is also legal in my State to buy maryjawana. It is not legal to mix the two and SELL IT. So I didn't sell it. But as an experiment wowee. I used 24 grams of Blue Dream into about 3 gallons of beer. Talk about over-kill. Since I have rarely indulged over the last decade, and not at all for about 4 decades before that I called on some much younger, more expert friends of my son to try it.

That much in a single bottle of beer was way way way way too much for those young tykes; including my neighbor who is a young Afghan former Marine vet AND his Marine buddies;

so it gives me an idea that I can cut it down to about 1/5 as much for some kick ass and less than that for relaxation where one beer does the trick, except for normal human thirst for beer, lol.

I've already got enough beer kits to last a year, and if things look dicey over the next few months I'll get some seeds so I am ready for the beer apocalypse and have a great barter item. I'll also get some seeds for CBD hemp if things look like they are going back to 1889 and kill 3 birds with one stone.

I also have a 5 gallon powder coated stainless steel still I bought from a friend but haven't ever used it (had it for about 9 years now. It is NOT legal to use that in the State I am in, lol, so I haven't).

I'll keep that one in the back pocket.

I have some medicinal plant seeds and can use the distiller for decocting meds, so maybe I'll get a chance to play around w that. I am renting a house with basically no growing room and you can't grow any pot outside anyway, wouldn't be around long.

So let me end by saying anyone who wants something serious to barter with that wouldn't take long to make is marijawana infused beer.

A good rule of thumb for herbs is a 1:5 ratio of herb to alcohol.

Strange I was just thinking about that EF Hutton ad the other day.

They should have done one with a situation like a Roman orgy going on and when the guy says "well my broker is EF Hutton and they said..."

And then all the people in sexual acts immediately stop and act like they want to get in on what EF Hutton said.

Home grown Gaza terrorist and supporters. At least they hate FJB.
They, being intellectual children, hate anyone who say what they don’t want to hear. If FJB, or anyone for that matter, tell them what they want to hear then they will worship the person like a god.

You'll be relieved to know Border Agents (and Air Marshalls) no longer have to serve sandwiches to illegals at the border. That's because Biden is flying the illegals from foreign airports directly into American airports.

However, when asked which airports and the numbers flown in they refused to reveal that information as would cause local law enforcement vulnerabilities.

You know he's flying them to Red States.

and swing election states.
