My last phone was a rotary dial one. One of those standard big black ones, that could double as a boat anchor.

No visitor, attempting to make a call with it, could do it correctly on the first attempt. Some took 3 or 4 attempts. I tried to explain to them that they needed patience, after dialing each number, to let the rotor return all the way back to its start, before dialing the next number. Few people today have such patience.

Here's a hint for you. If you get accounts start to follow you, and they have 1000-6000 they follow, but 0- to maybe a dozen (usually 0 followers) of two "followers", it's a bot or a group trying to track; most likely to get you blocked, penalized, or put on a list.

I get at least one a day. On other accounts where I was much more vocal I'd sometimes get 5-8 a day, and upon checking those accounts (my old ones) were throttled down to ZERO views except reposting's. NOT one person could see what I posted on those old accounts.
