Elizabeth Warren Claims Transgender Athletes 'Not a Threat'

On Thursday, Democrat Senator and presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, tweeted that transgender athletes are “not a threat” and need protection.
“Trans athletes are not a threat,” Warren tweeted. “We need to protect trans kids—and all LGBTQ+ kids—and ensure they feel safe and welcomed at school. I urge the Arizona legislature to reject this cruel bill.”

Along with her own message, Warren re-tweeted a story about an Arizona lawmaker who introduced a bill to ban biological males from competing as females in state-sponsored sports leagues.
But as the advocacy group Boys vs. Women noted in replies to Warren’s tweet, any time athletes born male are allowed to compete against natural-born females, they dominate their sport.
“Had boys from the 2016 High School Nationals Swimming Finals competed in the 2016 Olympic Women’s Finals, the boys would have taken all but one medal (a bronze) – despite the women settings eight new World & Olympic Records,” the group tweeted.
Here are some stats

14 year old boys hold 7 records in track and field that surpass the corresponding women's world records:
200m
400m
800m
1500m
High Jump
Hammer Throw
JavelinIf boys are faster than elite female athletes, should males compete in female athletics?

The activist group could also have mentioned the case of the “female” MMA fighter who severely injured his born-female opponent.
In 2014, MMA fighter Fallon Fox severely injured female fighter Tamikka Brents by TKO in September of that year.
In post-fight interviews, Brents noted that she never faced someone as powerful and fast as Fox.
“Fox’s grip was different,” Brents said. “I could usually move around in the clinch against…females but couldn’t move at all in Fox’s clinch.”
Brents suffered a stark defeat in the ring, but Fox also broke Brents’ eye socket and a concussion. Brents’ eye wound took seven stitches to close.

Someone should tell Ms. Warren that when EVERYONE is "protected" - NO ONE is protected.

All it becomes is a new level playing field.

I have a good idea. Protect NOBODY unless they suffer personal harm - then let them SUE IN COURT.

Let the Judiciary sort it out - that's why they get the big bucks.

They are not a threat but they are definitely a pain in the ass to normal people.

They need their own competitions between them.

Where's all the women at on this issue? They're getting fudged out of their sports by people born as males!

plain and simple: The dims do not mind cheating. they are willing to do whatever it takes, the ends justify the means.

Women should be up in arms over this travesty.

Have to wonder if it's so fair how is it that you don't see any females identifying as males in male sports and winning?

There is a debate about this in Texas. The Texas rules state you have to participate in sex/gender you were born into. The outcry is that the F->M wrestler is on testosterone. The outcry was that it was basically like letting someone use steroids and giving them a pass because of the way the rules are written.

Champion transgender wrestler prompts questions about fairness, steroids

Fair Use

The same performance-enhancing activity that got Russian athletes banned from the Olympic Winter Games may have helped a transgender male athlete win the girls’ Texas high school wrestling championship.

Mack Beggs, who was born a girl but identifies as male, is just the latest transgender athlete whose achievements have raised questions about how to let everyone compete without creating an uneven playing field.

...

Kayla Fitts, a senior at Cypress Ranch High School who had 52 wins and no losses before falling to Mack in Saturday’s semifinals, said the transgender wrestler’s strength “definitely was the difference.”

Asked whether she thought it was fair that she had to wrestle against Mack, she responded, “No.”

“I understand if you want to transition your gender,” Kayla told the Dallas Morning News. “I understand that totally. But there’s a time and a place. You can do that after high school. Or if you want to do it, you can quit the sport. Because I don’t think it’s fair at all that you’re taking testosterone. That’s steroids. I know it’s not a lot. But still.”

Mack’s road to last year’s state championship included several forfeits by girls who feared they would be injured. Mr. Baudhuin said parents in the wrestling community became concerned last season by the transgender wrestler’s increasingly masculine appearance.

“She began to show up at tournaments noticeably more masculine — needing to shave and things like that,” Mr. Baudhuin said. “It was obvious that the testosterone was starting to take effect. Parents were starting to get upset, because Mack at this point was so much more aggressive than other girls. You could see the difference.”

The University Interscholastic League, the body that governs high school athletics in Texas, forced Mack to compete against girls because of a regulation requiring students to compete in the division of the sex listed on their birth certificates.

The agency’s rules also prohibit steroid use unless prescribed by a licensed practitioner for a valid medical purpose.

Misread the article, personally I don't think transgender's of either sex should play in normal sports. They should get their own started.
