MSM Ebola Outbreak: President Allowing Spread Because He ‘Wants America To Suffer,’ Columnist

An Ebola outbreak is being allowed by President Obama because he “wants America to suffer” along with the rest of the world. This is the charge leveled by Fox News columnist Keith Ablow (pictured above), who is also a psychiatrist.

“I believe the President may literally believe we should suffer along with less fortunate nations. And if he does, that is a very dangerous psychological stance from which to confront Ebola,” Ablow said.

Ideas like that written by Ablow are starting to take hold throughout the country, mainly due to the administration’s unwillingness to enact an Ebola travel ban to and from affected countries.

Supporters of the President say that it would only make the problem worse because help could not get in to the Ebola outbreak hot zone. Critics of the President point out that the military could be used for flying in needed supplies and aid workers rather than using commercial flights.

Ablow definitely doesn’t seem like a supporter. Here are some more of his criticisms.

“Let me say this plainly, as a psychiatrist who has studied this President only from a distance: In order for President Obama to keep thinking of himself as the leader of the world — and not just the free world — it may be that our boundaries must remain porous, allowing illegal immigrants and, potentially, even diseases to flow through them,” Ablow wrote.

In the piece, Ablow coined the term “Ebolaphobia” to refer to the Ebola outbreak and its effect on the U.S. He also sees his column as a first step in bringing to light the President’s dastardly plan.

“The toll of having a president who seems to see America as having no particular manifest destiny may be seen in the spread of ISIS abroad. And it could be seen, God forbid, in not mounting a sufficient immune defense here at home, to Ebola. Saying so, even at the risk of offending some or many, is the first step (here taken) to make it not so.”

Mediaite accepts that “there’s certainly criticisms to be made” of President Obama’s response to the Ebola crisis, but they largely dismissed Ablow’s commentary, calling it “slimy,” “cartoonish,” and “fear-mongering.”

But what do you think, readers?

Has President Obama made the Ebola outbreak better or worse with his response? And do you think that the U.S. should enact an Ebola travel ban until the disease can be adequately contained?

What do I think? I think that the current President probably isn't involved enough to think this far or this inventively about it; I think he has all the marks of a man who feels like he is in over his head and is avoiding doing as much as possible while enjoying golf games and the perks that do go with the job. He can be trotted out by his handlers and a teleprompter to say what they want to be said ever few days but mostly he avoids security briefings and probably dinner with his family as well.

The problem with blaming everything on such a person is that it is highly possible to miss what those who work behind the scenes may actually be doing (or not doing); I am not totally certain that this current outbreak is based totally on simple stupidity (along with head-in-the-sand thinking); but I would expect the marks of an actual planned destruction to be a bit better planned out. Starting with using a truly airborne virus to start out with, Ebola may be starting to turn into one, but wasn't recognized as such.

My hunch would be at best, this may be ignored until the situation gets out of control either for reason's of total blindness on the part of agencies believing their own spin and/or some nefarious "them" who are willing to just step back and let the epidemic happen to "cull" the population. I'm baking more on the former than the later but the results may turn out to be the same either way unless the CDC and other agencies don't get their heads out of the collective sands and start the sort of operating procedures you expect to see in a time of real epidemic danger.

I agree in part.

O taught at my college. I had friends who had him as a teacher. He was a joke. Faculty joked about how lazy and stupid he was (in comparison to them).

However, he was a left wing/totalitarian ideologue that hated the Constitution and wanted to bring USA down to rest of the world as it wasn't fair.

Also, while he is lazy/stupid, he has appointed people who are in the top 1% of IQ (I know I did research for one of his top appointees--who believes people are dumb and need to be told what to do BY people like HIM) who are pushing his agenda behind the scenes. It was a real wake-up call for me as I used to think like them, but realized I didn't want to be told what to do.

I think if you review the statements made by the man, his actions, his words in print, and his affiliations, you will indeed come to the conclusion he hates America and is dedicated to its destruction.

I doubt he's ever actually done his job as POTUS, other than reading his teleprompter to imbed the NLP commands, he's got a lot of free time on his hands as others are behind the scenes moving the chess pieces.

I agree with most all of your comments Melodi, while the press is pointing a finger at his nibs, the whole circus is getting off scott free-and the press has been doing a lot of negative reporting about him of late, which is new.

It is a fact that Obama is leaving the American people vulnerable through his policy of open borders.

I have no idea of his motivation.

The OP is correct IMO. Obama clearly views the US as oppressive to the rest of the world and undeserving of our standard of living. How many times has he apologized to one group or another now?

The USA was warned about him before he was elected president.

However, hang wringing, guilt ridden white liberals wanting to atone
for the past, installed this president not once, but twice.

There is no doubt in my mind, that the overall objective of this administration,
is to break the back of the middle class. Middle class Americans built this country,
and it is the vast middle class that has always set America apart from other countries.

3rd world hellhole countries have no middle class. Its the very few at the top,
and the many at the bottom.

Having open borders helps to dilute the middle class, as the illegals coming into
the USA today, are probably close to 100 percent from 3rd world hellholes,
i.e. Mexico, Central America, etc.

Thus, the agenda of pushing the USA further and further from its status as a
1st world country, is advanced with open borders.

Its going to get worse, much worse following the upcoming elections.

Expect many more ebola cases to become evident, and also many of our
troops to become infected.

It would not surprise me in the least, that they will fly in ebola
patients from West Africa.

The USA is stage 4. Soon it will be in patient care.

Be safe everyone.

One of the 1st things obola said after being elected was something to the effect, "We Americans can no longer set the thermostat at 72 and expect the rest of the world to be OK with that". Right then and there he told America what a fool and traitor that he was.

Its the philosophy of today's DEM party. They are all followers of Alinksky (e.g., Hillary and Obama). READ ALINSKY!

He talks about the key to creating their utopia is to destroy the middle class--and lie about it while doing it.

It never stops amazing me how people think, oh I'm for O because of social issues--they couldn't be more wrong. O wants TOTAL govt control.

Now is a good time to say it.

I am not defending Zero but i believe he makes no decisions. There are many, many people behind his back that makes all the decisions - Obama just carries them out. Obama didn't write ObamaCare (Affordable Care Act) many people behind the scenes wrote it. They simply just stamped Obama's name on it. Obama is a Puppet just like all Politicians are Puppets.
