In January of this year CNN agreed to settle a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann, but the amount of the settlement was concealed from the public.

Sandmann’s lawyers filed an $800 million lawsuit against CNN, WaPo and NBC Universal after the outlets used a selectively edited video to make Nick Sandmann and his fellow Covington friends look like they harassed Nathan Phillips, a Native American who attended the Indigenous Peoples March in DC.

Sandmann’s lawyer Lin Wood told Fox News in 2019 that “CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals’ homes.”
The $250 million lawsuit against WaPo is still working its way through the legal system after WaPo failed to get the case dismissed.

Young Nick Sandmann continued his schooling, is graduating and heading to school.
Nick announced on Twitter that he will be going to school on scholarship.
Congratulations, young Nick!

Very excited to say I will be graduating!
After being told I would never get into college and my life was done, I’ll be going to an amazing school on a scholarship! Don’t back down and keep winning!

I read somewhere it was rumored that he may have gotten a 200 plus million dollar settlement from the chicken noodle network. NDA in place.

This cash machine is still ringing.

CNN paid because they knew a long drawn out court case would have been like water torture of damaging headlines and having most of their talking heads answering pointed questions under oath or worse having to repeatedly take the 5th (CNN looking like a bunch of mafia thugs). And worse losing and paying even more than the settlement.

Wapo will settle, or they will lose in court. Trying to lower the settlement imho.

One wonders what will become of Mr. Sandmann now that he has bested the Communists.

Hopefully he'll have more going for him than George Zimmerman who seems to flirt with the MEEDIA now and again. Between domestic violence issues, being target of road rage and shooting, "simulating" art, and twitter twits, Zimmerman has had an active media presence.

I'm not sure Mr. Sandmann is made of the same stuff - but he may be guiled to be a convenient target.

He was lynched by the press because he is white. The Injun is a lying bastard and we all know this now. Time to pay the piper MSM.
Or, because he was conservative. Fortunately conservative does not have to mean white in 2020, and it's causing piss to replace the tingles that once ran down the Dem's and their minions' legs!

Non disclosure agreement.

Lest others attempt to "mine" CNN for similar insults against their persons.

I find it ironic (hypocritical?) that those who scream for "Transparency!" are the ones who demanded an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

No, grants are based on need. Scholarships are based on performance.

Many of them these days are based upon being nonwhite and/or nonmale and/or not a native born American. (California giving in-state tuition to all illegal aliens when they don't do the same for NBAs from other states is certainly an example of the latter.)
