Katie Hobbs has placed multiple pride flags outside her office at the Capitol above the American flag and state flag to kick off “LGBTQI+ Pride Month.”

Hobbs pulled a similar political stunt as Secretary of State in 2019 when she hung a pride flag outside her office at the Arizona Capitol Museum.

In another stunt, Hobbs later lied and claimed that Republican legislators had the flags removed.

The Arizona Mirror reported,

However, the leader of the agency that manages the Capitol building disputed Hobbs’ claims.

Mike Braun, executive director of Legislatvie Council, said he removed the flags because they were “nonconforming” and Hobbs did not go through the proper channels in order to display them on the building.

He said he was not directed to do so by Bowers, Fann or anyone else.

“I think the rules are pretty minimum,” Braun told the Arizona Mirror. “There is an easy way to display a banner of any kind.”

According to Braun, Hobbs broke multiple regulations by flying these banners without notifying legislative council or having them approved.

The two flags representing the gay and trans community were seen today flying above the American and Arizona Flags, with a Ukranian flag flying beside them at half-staff.

Only illegal if the law is ENFORCED. Otherwise its free game.

Businesses/individuals should take in their American Flag and fly ONLY the Pride flag. One doesn't want to be "different" and fly the American flag lest one gets their flagpole ripped down and the flag burned - or worse to their personal property and being.

And there will be no protection from the "activists." Hobbs is as much as saying so.

I know this is hard - but Arizona isn't a state in your country anymore.

It's illegal to knowingly mutilate or deface or physically defile the US flag

18 U.S. Code § 700 - Desecration of the flag of the United States; penalties​

  • U.S. Code
  • Whoever knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both.
The flag code is not the same as the US Code law.
It is disrespectful but not illegal to display it improperly in violation of the flag code.
It just means you aren't fit to be an American or live in this country and need your ass kicked.

I have a permanent 20 foot flag pole in front of my house. I fly the American flag everyday. If I fly it at night it is illuminated. On occasion I frequently fly the US Navy flag, the Marine flag on the Marine birthday and the First Navy Jack on the Navy birthday.

Those are the ONLY flags I fly, and the military flags, when I fly them, always fly below the US flag, ALWAYS.
Respect and honor are important.

In effect, she's swearing allegiance to a /entity she places higher than the US and it's Constitution.

This is no longer the country of your youth. And a majority of the citizens support this!

Y'all should be grateful the swamp creation running the Arizona administrative district was honest enough to demonstrate what and whom really runs this land.

The sad part is that straight white males will still join the military and specifically the AZ national guard..... thinking they are somehow doing the right thing..... fools!

Owner is currently flying the "Continental Flag" on the pole at his front door.

Owner says with the red background, he can give a first "Marxist" impression.

But if anyone asks, he says it's "George Washington's Flag."

So far he says nobody has asked.

There is something supremely wrong in that.
