We started with Abby, then we got Lil Ricky (free to good home)

Then Abby had puppies because lil' Ricky wasn't tutered so now we have Danny.
( We said words over them so they are married now)
His brother, Mikey went to a friend.

So now we have three of them.

Dachshunds have 2 speeds. ZERO and full blast and they like to wrestle and of course they are teaching the puppy, Danny, what he needs to know when he finally meets that mini Badger.

So the wrestling matches happen a couple times a day and I caught a shot that I think is priceless.

My dog, Shady, is a pound puppy. He's a mix of dachshund and Lab, we think. I refer to him as a weiner dog on stilts.

He has the face of a wiener dog all the way and it is absolutely beautiful. He's as black as he could possibly be.

You are so right and true about 2 speeds. Sometimes he walks like he's on his way to his execution. Sometimes he runs to the door like his butt is on fire. And you never know which one is going to be there.

He is a grumpy old cuss who likes to tell everyone what to do and when to do it. He will sit and grumble at me for food, to go out, or even when he thinks its time to go to bed.

I love him with all my heart!

Your babies are lovely and look very happy, even dad in his contemplation.

My baby is fixed. I just couldn't imagine what his children would look like!

Lil Ricky has now been tutered. No more puppies.

I tell you, dogs are the funniest people you will ever meet.

I love them all.

I wondered what happened to that litter y'all had. Glad everyone is homed. My stray cat had kittens about the same time. We are keeping everybody.
But as of tomorrow, everyone will be spayed.
