There used to be a time when you had to do (or say)something illegal to be stopped and frisked for some evidence of that specific crime. Police needed PROBABLE CAUSE, AND THAT WAS PRETTY SPECIFIC INTHE 1950"s and 60"s.
Police coiidn't make up some vague suspicion and invade your home, or office or your LAWYERS HOME OR OFFICE searching for protected PRIVATE CLIENT-LAWYER DOCUMENTS IN SEARCH OF ANY CRIME.WITHOUT ANY Hard evidence that you had done anything wrong!
We are NOT "SECURE IN OUR PERSONS AND PAPERS" As the Constitution states we ought to be, as Americans. We are NOT PRESUMED INNOCENT AT ALL! None of us!
We are also NOT INNOCENT, Of ANY AND EVERYTHING, NONE OF US, The founding fathers KNEW EVEN THE BEST OF US SOMETIMES DO WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW WAS ILLEGAL, AND SOMETIMES WHAT WE KNOW IS ILLEGAL, BUT THINK THE LAw IS STUPID or trivial but to prevent abuse of authority, the founding
fathers put that "we are to be secure in our persons and papers".
It is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT,!
