China is getting prepped to join Russia in the fight against jihadist militants in Syria with the goal of bringing down ISIS. China already has its military on its way to Syria, according to The Express.
Russia has already been in the Middle East performing deadly air strikes for the last few days; now Vladimir Putin has sent his country's most elite Special Forces team straight to the war zone.
"The world cannot afford to stand by and look on with folded arms, but must also not arbitrarily interfere," said China's foreign minister Wang Yi at the recent U.N. Security Council session.
Military officials have said Chinese warships are already making their way to Syrian, and there is speculation on whether China will send their J-15 warplanes that launch from aircraft carriers, intended for ISIS attacks.
"It is known that China has joined our military operation in Syria," Igor Morozov, a member of the Russian Federation Committee on International Affairs said. "The Chinese cruiser has already entered the Mediterranean, followed by its aircraft carrier."
"The Chinese will be arriving in the coming weeks," a Syrian army official said, according to The Sleuth Journal. "The Chinese ship has crossed the Suez Canal in Egypt and is currently in the Mediterranean Sea."
Israeli military officials already state that the Chinese aircraft carrier, Liaoning-CV-16 is docked at Tartus, a Syrian port, along with one of their guided missile cruisers.
While China's alignment and support of Russia will be a huge boost to the war strategy in Syria, but the support comes at a price, pitting China against the U.S. which China wishes to avoid.
With Chinese troops on the way to Syria, joining the Russian soldiers, according to the Common Sense Show, the U.S. is in turmoil over joint Middle Eastern military partnership between Russia and China.
