WAR China Can No Longer Invade Taiwan

According to a group of Taiwanese with whom I had a discussion, no longer than 10 days ago, there is no problem between China and Taiwan. The Taiwanese seem to believe that they are a part of China. Regardless of what anyone else thinks.

(Told ya so - LOL)

They're Han Chinese and speak Mandarin. It ain't like they are from Iowa and speaker farmer or anything like that.

Quite possibly. But it's probably better to cook with, say, wood or propane. Why not give your troops that instead of having them go break off pieces of solid propellant that should be moving your missiles?
Ummm…C4 is a high order explosive. NOT a propellant.

Well, that's why I said possibly. I'd thought I'd heard it was flammable once.

But either way it's really not the POINT. If the Chinese military is as powerful as some here seem to believe, based on the assertion that any suggestion that they're NOT is disinformation and propaganda, then why are Chinese troops using solid propellant rocket fuel to cook hotpot?

C4 will burn just fine. It takes a blasting cap to make it go boom. Solid propellant will also work. But my point was that C4 is not a propellant.

Not the Taiwanese I know. You will get an earful if you call them "Chinese".

China's economy has gone to crap
Russia's economy has gone to crap
EU's economy has gone to crap

BUT, the US economy is strong as evidenced by an inflation that simply cannot be beat.
Heck, in California, they pay $50/hour to flip burgers.

Ask Joe . . . he will set you straight.

I think that makes a China invasion MORE likely.

Oh, Xi absolutely wants to. He's been talking about it for years.

But his army simply cannot cash the check.

His missiles are full of water rather than rocket fuel, as his troops have been using the rocket fuel for cooking, or it's been quietly resold. That's why he ran a purge through the Rocket Force; to weed out the corrupt. And there were a LOT of corrupt.

And without those missiles, China would have a much harder time actually running an invasion. It's all in the video.

The last I knew, the thing was a difference in what "Chinese" means. The mainland Chinese believe they are the TRUE Chinese, and that Taiwan is a sad little breakaway. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese believe THEY are the TRUE Chinese, and left the mainland to preserve ACTUAL CHINA.

BS China has an Army and a Navy and piles of weapons they can used.

Sure do. But they have an Army and Navy full of little emperors who sob publicly when sent to fight. And their weapons are all wrong for trying to dig out a military embedded in the mountains.

Taiwan has some problems and one of them is they have hundreds of Chinese infiltrators inside their country, the other is they do not have much of an army to defend themselves from chinas million man plus army.
You would think that Taiwan would adopt the Swiss approach to protecting their country and train every 18 year old to how the army does things and do it twice and send them home with a rifle and a 100 rounds of ammo and start setting up shooting ranges all over the country.

The "Swiss system"requires a level of political stability and buy in the PTB in Taipei aren't "comfortable" with.
