Check your small business phone bill!!

I have CenturyLink. Last couple bills were pretty high, but I have automatic bill pay and was too busy to look into it. Just found that an outfit called EZIP SEARCH (at www.ezipsearch.mobi) has been billing me through CenturyLink for $49.95 a month. I never asked for that service. CentryLink Customer service said they are required to bill for these other companies, and if we didn't want thoses services, we have to tell CenturyLink and they will remove the charges. I did and they did. When I called ezip search, they gave me some bull about their system being under maintenance so they couldn't access my account just then but they would call me back. Still waiting!! Beware..this is a SCAM. They are billing people (small companies) hoping that enough of them won't notice.

Have run into this stuff a lot of times over the years. It pays to be vigilent. The bill-pay is convenient but it sure does seem that "they" keep trying to slip things passed us even faster than they used to. Every scammer in the book has to try it at least once it seems.

Sounds like a Century Link scam to me.
