Romans 1:24. God is not mocked. From the source:

Since the current monkeypox outbreak began in May 2022, some 85,000 cases have been reported worldwide, the vast majority in gay and bisexual men (98%, according to a study of 500 cases in 15 countries). The main route of transmission is close physical contact during sexual intercourse. The population groups most at risk, explains Mitjà, are men living with HIV and patients who take daily antiretroviral drugs – known as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) – to avoid HIV infections during unprotected sex.

I think the main problem that most people have with these kinds of "tabletop exercises" is that they cover fairly specific scenarios, and somehow that very scenario plays out not long after. Even Chuck's anecdote about a boiler explosion could be an example, although it's probably much easier to prepare for a steam tractor boiler explosion when you have an upcoming steam exhibition where century-old live steam machinery will be in operation. "Forecasting" pandemics a year or two in the future is little more than Wild-Ass Guessing with a tiny whiff of actuarial analysis sprinkled on top, yet somehow, something very close to the exercise shows up.

A lot of us would be way less suspicious if they tabletopped pandemic o pandem
Wasn’t 9/11 kinda an exercise? And London later on?

Bringing this over is difficult, but interesting to read. My first response is to find it, then neutralize it. As though I can fight these people.

(The only way to bring it over is to include 200+ footnotes.)

FYI

Helen buried in the posts over at Flutrackers was information on Neurological symptoms that came to light in survivors who survived the 1918 Influenza. The study you sited doesn't site the 1918 flu but dose say viruses like influenza use the nerves transmitting olfactory (smell info) to the brain as a kind of shortcut to that location. At least that's what I got out of the article.

Fair use from article helen sited:

"Olfactory receptor neurons display some key anatomical and functional features normally absent elsewhere. Olfactory receptor neurons are found predominantly in the upper respiratory tract, an area commonly known as the nasal cavity and nasal septum. When any odor gets dissolved in the mucosal lining of the nasal cavity, the apical part or dendrites of olfactory nerves sense it and transmit this signal to the basal part of olfactory nerves’ bodies for further transmission toward the brain (16).

Olfactory receptor neuronal endings are directly exposed to the extrinsic stimuli and are capable of interacting enormously with all the environmental macromolecules. This interaction is responsible for our far-fetched ability to sense almost one trillion kinds of smells present in the universe (17).

These olfactory nerve endings work in a chemoreceptor function. This means that any macromolecules can be physically incorporated inside olfactory nerve cells and travel in a trans-synaptic fashion to the CNS. This makes the olfactory nerve cells an extremely useful tool for respiratory viruses to reach the CNS without even bothering about the BBB barrier (18). Respiratory viruses, such as Influenza and Coronaviruses, are reported to preferably take this olfactory route for entering the CNS over other routes.

It's hush hush, alright. I didn't find it until today.

Now, the same players are back, and recently hosted a new pandemic exercise, albeit it was all very hush-hush. Oddly, I can’t find much about it online, except from Johns Hopkins:

Helen, thanks again for trying to keep us up-to-date with the machinations going on around the world.

Just 'cause I haven't said it lately...

That sounds familiar. What is it?
Horrible stuff! It is supposed to slow heart and make it beat a little more strongly.

I was on it and it reacted with my other breathing meds and I had a 6 months long asthma attack that got worse and worse and just about did me in. Darn Dr did not check to see if there were any safety issues with it. I found that out in my own research

And, I am still mad!

Pretty sure my wife was taking it at some point

Normal probably never existed anyway.

A year after this thread started, polio vaccination with oral (live) virus continues. Monkeypox is mostly ignored by the media, but case counts are rising again even in the U.S. Massive population displacements continue everywhere, including the U.S.

Somewhere in that morass of information I posted above is a reference to a mutation window of 12-18 months after mass vaccination with live polio.

A mutation should develop within the next six months. It should be obvious by 2025, the Catastrophic Contagion exercise simulation date.

The main theme of the exercise was countering misinformation. Controlling information. Muzzling you. So we'll see. I continue to monitor and wait. I love my job and don't want to lose it, so I don't post much. I miss you all.

And an Illegal population bringing things to our neighborhoods. What better way to spread things.

An invasion of infections illegally sponsored by the very “elected” officials hired to protect our borders.

judgment is at the door.

The following reference was posted within the past year by someone else on the board, and, in light of helen's post, I thought I would reiterate the information. I am not a doctor and do not offer this as medical advice, merely information which might prove of interest when considering one's options should one become infected with polio or one of it's mutations.

Elizabeth Kenny practiced an alternative method for the treatment of polio, first in Australia and later around the world including in the US. The method used heat packs and gentle exercise rather than immobilization and was allegedly quite effective and less painful than the alternative. To some she was a dangerous quack, to others a lifesaving saint.

Her two books are called "Infantile Paralysis and Cerebral Diplegia: Methods Used for the Restoration of Function" (1937) and "The Treatment of Infantile Paralysis in the Acute Stage" (1941). I think these are incredibly difficult to find in print (I didn't have much luck after a cursory search), but there is another related book which Ms. Kenny wrote with a collaborator, John F. Pohl. It's called "The Kenny Concept of Infantile Paralysis and its Treatment."

Our grandson has had a bad cough and fever, the highest was 102. This has been going on for a week. Just now beginning to get a little better with the fever down, but still has the cough. Our daughter took him to the doctor. They tested him for COVID, strep and influenza. All were negative and they don't know what it is. My daughter works at his school, 4 and 5th grades. She says there are other kids in his school with the same symptoms. Makes one wounder!!

I’ve heard similar stories lately. Most recently was from the other veterinarian at work; her children keep passing undiagnosed illness back and forth. I know that’s very normal for young children but it always gets my attention.

I’ve also heard stories from adults who have the same, undiagnosed illness with fever sore throat yada yada.

Something is gonna happen. I can't say what. Things are insane in every area all around the world.
If they release something inside the US then the country gets locked down so it doesn't spread, that may be when the country becomes weakest as Americans die off in critical industries and services. A complete breakdown. At the same time, money could spread disease so that would have to be banned in favor of digital id's and cell phone wallets.
