About this time of year I put out my vinegar and sugar solution in old plastic milk jugs.
In one gallon empty milk jugs, I pour two cups of regular vinegar and two cups of sugar.
Shake until dissolved. I tie these jugs in fruit trees and on other trees where I want to decrease
the insect population. In the fall I collect these jugs which are now half full or more with solid
insects. This helps but doesn't stop the pest.
