Rumble Publicly Offers Joe Rogan $100 Million for a Four Year Censorship-Free Contract

Video streaming platform Rumble has publicly offered Joe Rogan $100 million for a four-year, censorship-free, contract.

Rogan signed a $100 million deal giving Spotify exclusive rights to “The Joe Rogan Experience” in 2020.

However, Spotify is facing increasing pressure to censor the popular podcast over Rogan’s willingness to speak to guests with different perspectives about the pandemic. Though the company has said they will not pull the plug on the podcast, they have removed approximately 70 episodes from their library in recent days.

Launched in 2013, Rumble runs its own infrastructure — so the company says it is “immune to cancel culture.”

Rumble went public through a deal with CF Acquisition Corp. VI with an initial enterprise value of $2.1 billion in December.
In a letter to Rogan tweeted by the company, CEO Chris Pavlovski urged Rogan to join Rumble.

Pavlovski wrote, “We stand with you, your guests, and your legion of fans in desire for real conversation. So we’d like to offer you 100 million reasons to make the world a better place.”
“How about you bring all your shows to Rumble, both old and new, with no censorship, for 100 million bucks over four years?” Pavlovski continued.
The letter concluded, “this is our chance to save the world. And yes, this is totally legit.”

Though episodes are being removed, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek has defended keeping Rogan on the platform.

Ek told upset employees last week that the solution is not to get rid of Rogan’s podcast, but perhaps to obtain more exclusive content from different perspectives.

“The real thing here is to try to go for an even broader set of exclusives that represent even more voices,” Ek said.
“There are many things that Joe Rogan says that I strongly disagree with and find very offensive. But let me go back to what I said earlier, if you want even a shot at achieving our bold ambitions, it will mean having content on Spotify that many of us may not be proud to be associated with,” he continued. “Not anything goes, but there will be opinions, ideas, and beliefs that we disagree with strongly and even makes us angry or sad.”
He pointed out that there have been episodes of the podcast that did not make it onto the platform because they violated the rules.

Rogan recently posted a video on his Instagram account addressing the controversy. He promised to include a more balanced view of the coronavirus and the vaccines, encouraging all sides of the issue to be explored.

“I don’t want to just show the contrary opinion to what the narrative is,” Rogan said. “I want to show all kinds of opinions so that we can all figure out what’s going on, and not just about COVID, about everything, about health, about fitness, wellness, the state of the world itself.”

"I think this is overkill. He's a 'just awakening' liberal after all who would like to see Michelle Obama run for POTUS in 2024."

People better realize since everyone's a RHINO how this could become reality. Not just run but win.

Rumble Media Platform Offers Joe Rogan $100 Million to Drop Spotify
February 7, 2022 | Sundance | 22 Comments

Keep in mind that a partnership between Trump Media Technology Group (TMTG) and Rumble was announced last December {LINK}. Today Rumble steps into the social media and video hosting controversy with Joe Rogan and Spotify.

Spotify is the host for Joe Rogan’s podcast. Spotify is under pressure to cancel Joe Rogan. Today Rumble has offered Joe Rogan $100,000,000.00 over four years to switch platforms.

Last October Rumble bought out Dave Ruben’s Locals platform. In November Rumble announced they were moving to Florida {LINK}. A month later the Trump Media Group announced a partnership with Rumble.

Even with Joe Biden’s inflation, $100 million is a stunning amount of money and Rogan wouldn’t have to worry about being censored or cancelled. Smart move by Rumble in getting all of the PR just from the offer.

I am left to assume that the "offer" has at this point, no deadline. It would be a massive "get" for Rumble to acquire Rogan.

With that said........ Spotifiy has not yet caved to the pressures of the left. What is the biggest threat posed by Rogan?
It is the fact that his podcast reaches the most people of all podcasts. About 11 million. AND that he has guests on who contradict the narrative. Truth tellers.

The big cheese at Spotify has in my opinion been very supportive of Rogan and the truth. I would like to see him stay until such a time that is no longer the case.

If he goes to Rumble, his reach will be considerably less.

Spotify will probably counter offer Rumble's offerings, in the end what it ultimately comes down to is money and power.
Either way, Joe wins

I remember seeing him as a 2nd string on that NewsRadio thing & then he hosted some daredevil show. I started watching a bit of UFC & there he was.

Courtesy TB2K I learned he was on Spotify, which I was only vaguely aware of, for some significant $$$$ & now he's got an offer for 100 million & no censorship guard rails from some other media outfit.

Like him or not, I'd say he's moving up .....

Like I said in the other thread about JR, he's an equal opportunist interviewer, along the lines of howard stern just not as crude. He will interview just about anyone, and he will be an ass to just about everyone to some extent. I've listened to a couple of his podcasts and they're not bad. He's open about his political views, so the fact that he's a liberal should not be surprising to anyone.

No matter what happens, this will get Rumble's name out to a lot of people that have never heard of them before.
Yeah, this was a no brainer for Rumble. Try to cash in on a very high profile ongoing "woke/cancel culture" dispute. It's exactly the kind of thing Rumble is trying to position itself for.

I'll be interested to see if Rogan takes the offer.

Joe Rogan's contract with Spotify is worth $100 million over 4 years, so this offer doesn't sound very appealing.

Joe Rogan also sold the rights to his shows to Spotify from 2020 to 2024.

Great PR move but offer means nothing.

This is true only if spotify isn't in breach of contract! Is there anything in his contract about censorship?

Some of the name they are coming up with for websites and what the heck is Spotify?
Spotify is a streaming music and podcast app. They have been around for a while and are currently the reigning champs in that arena. They have the second biggest music library and are about to overtake Apple who is first.

If you listen to at least an hour a day of music, they are worth it. I used to rip the mp3 content from YouTube videos because I just didn’t want to pay. But Spotify has excellent sound quality and their algorithms for creating playlists is top notch. Plus ease of downloading for offline listening, creating your own playlists, etc… they just are the best by a huge margin.

That would explain why I know nothing about them as I do not down load music or use low end play back devices.

How are they compared to Amazon music?

Sorry for the drift... my bad :(

They are a bit more user friendly and their algorithm for playlists it creates is really good. DW and I have the duo and it’s $12 a month or $6 apiece which is how I think of it. With the duo, we have individual playlists and also create shared playlists which is really cool.

I never knew they made real money, just for bloviating non-stop hours on end. That IS a skill but not one I ever cared to try and emulate. I was on a radio show once as a guest, couldn't get a word in edgewise, host was on crack or something.
