Has No Life - Lives on TB
It never made sense to me that California would ban water filters. Especially with the earthquakes and flooding that they have to deal with. But that's Kalifornia for you.

California bans everything and anything that is not approved by the commie gov, there are so many things that are not allowed to be shipped and can not even be possessed here it's ridicules.

Membership Revoked
California did not over regulate Multi-Pure and other water purification companies. Do remember they pushed for NSF (National Standards Foundation) product certifications.

Calif mandated testing to certify no lead containing parts that could leech lead into the water. The certification process is costly. Some have simply decided it's not worth it.

I would like to get the big berkey

They were ALSO (and more to the point) HIGHLY CONCERNED about Silver, which is part of some of the candles....

The explanation I found referenced the silver....

There is always someone online that will ship whatever to Cali. I got mine from Pleasant Hill Grain a few years ago with no problem. Money talks and BS walks. Have you noticed that you cannot buy a wood burning stove from any of the good companies online like Vermont Stove without going through a dealer out here and paying top dollar. I havn't searched but I am sure you could get around that too if you wanted.

As a Californian I would like to have the freedom to purchase the product I want!

We have had a Multi-Pure system for over twenty years.

We'd like a Stainless Steel Berky for the times when the power is out and we cannot run our well pump.

I purchased a Berkey Light over five years ago through an online source.
I noticed a few months ago the filters I need were no longer available.
I hope this means i can get filters again.
I would like a stainless steel Big Berkey, will keep waiting.
Great product, well worth the very reasonable price.
Yes, CA gov is ...bad. We who live here know it all too well.
