Oh no, Mrs Bill!
My favorite Mr. Bill was when his handler told Mr. Bill he was getting kind of pudgy around the middle, and told him he needed to jump rope.

In the next scene Mr. Bill is introduced to a weed-eater. So much for jumping rope though. They should have broke to the Devo song, ‘Whip it’ as Mr. Bill did his famOus Oh nO” and was torn into raw breakfast croissant style pieces.

What?

OK. Well I thought it was funny 40+ years later, still in the recesses of my Grey matter.

crossbowboy, sorry for posting without coffee this morning.

I find it sadly comforting that this kind of the behavior is not confined to these here United States.
I see by the pictures that an important part is missing in order for a pregnancy's to occur.
Or is it another virgin birth?

Pregnancy? You see pregnancy? I see indulgence - or padding.

The padding part makes sense as the child-doll has to be made from SOMETHING. And it certainly fits with the narrative.

A pretend husband fathers a pretend child.

Seen next at the check-out aisle next to "I'm pregnant with Elvis' spiritual baby." (Elvis died in 1977)

NO! NO! NO!!
Don't even think that or we'll have another cult looking for donations and converts.
Then they'll field candidates and want to caucus with the Dems.

We've got enough crazies on that side of the house as it is. ....

I don't disagree with you one bit, seems to me a couple of years ago some idiot married his mule/donkey in Brazil.
You made me look! Here's a guy who got married to a donkey in Spain:

Somewhere in the back of my cluttered mind, I remember reading about an eldest son marrying a tree so his younger brother could marry a woman. In that tradition, the eldest son had to marry first. That sort of makes sense to me, more than marrying a donkey!

Anyway, I don't want to marry a cat or a dog! But they do make great pets: they provide a lot
of companionship and won't disappear from a screen if the power goes out, LOL!

This gal, and the guy for that matter, both need some serious mental health counseling.

And the people who attended the "wedding" and the "birthing" all ought to have their heads examined to not only giving credence to the mental issues but also for encouraging them.

I shake my head and wonder....................what's next........................Lord, come quickly!

I can't help noticing that the common thread with the individuals who do this sort of thing is control. They can create the "perfect" spouse, without any of the hard work that comes with a real marriage. The same thing with virtual children. You heard the women in the OP: "He never argues with me..." It's like playing house while being the one to determine what everyone thinks, says, or does. Control. The same thing with the body builder. He has a fake, but realistic-looking sex doll that will 'service' him any time, any way he wants without ever having to give anything in return or open up. He'll never have to become vulnerable; he'll always appear "strong" and "virile" because his fake girlfriend will never complain about anything.

It's not only control, but a desire to have the wonderful gifts God gives us without the difficulty of the hard work required to maintain such relationships.

Put down the caffeine and sugar. Please. And for gawd's sake, stay away from any red dye in your ingestibles.
yes, but do you wonder if the doctor actually pulled that rag doll out of "there".
and if they pulled it out . . .
how did she stuff it in "there"

That's a really good point! I think that's one of the things that would bother me, besides the whole fantasy element: I don't want to control anyone (or be controlled), plus I like reality.

For example, my cat is a pet, not a fur child. I spoil her with occasional treats and her own chair next to my desk chair**, but she's still a cat, with all of the needs and behavior associated with a live cat. That is, she's NOT a tiny human with fur.

Interacting with a life-sized rag doll or a computer makes no sense to me. It's like the game of let's pretend that I played as a child, but I'm no longer a child! I can understand a tot (3 - 5 years old) getting into that, but not another adult, at least a sane one, so the point about wanting that sort of control makes sense.

Wow. What a world . . .

**If she didn't have "her" chair, she would try to snooze on my keyboard. Having two chairs was a good compromise. Found on the internet . . .

Yep, or from my perspective ...

I write fiction, it bothers me a lot when the world tries to make me live it.

. . . and then they complain that it is very hard to make it as the sole breadwinner.

Since rag dolls don't eat, I don't take that comment seriously.
My cat does eat, but no where close to as much as I do.

Most of those nutjobs really aren't that accountable.

People ask, how can people like this exist? How can they live in a fantasy world? To which I respond, have you seen the real world lately? It's awful. A lot of these nutjobs are probably just reacting to the world as it is.

There's a reason shirts like this exist:

About half of it. I grew up in Ann Arbor and used to know some real basket cases. On the other hand, I know that some people don't mind acting weird for the attention and possible income from youtube channels.

I suspect there's a little of both going on in the OP's case.

[Added since you don't know me in the real world -- I try to roll with weirdness as much as I can. Frequently, I find it's people seeking attention, and when I ignore their particular weirdness, like neon purple hair, they frequently go away and find someone else to bother.]

Dear Lord, she said that there was blood and an umbilical cord when she gave "birth" to their child. My imagination runneth over. Sorry.

Just remember, a book cover doesn't always let you know what is inside on the pages.
OK

Does that mean you're getting ready to publish hard copy?

Like an Anthology?

Begging to send you $$$ and you're not even a TV evangelist!

People spend enormous levels of time creating and editing these videos and stunts.

like the Vegas style dance routines of the medical folk during Covid and their TikTokTuckery.

The unfortunate woman in the OP looks like someone who actually wants to be married to a white version of Carlos Marcello.

and is demanding some kind of marital union thru comic intimidation.

Looks more like some Latinx joke that backfired.

Glad I am divorced, single & staying that way. The turmoil coming is not a time for inventing extended kin out of wholecloth

I mean I LIKE the Clydesdale beanie baby that Owner bought for me - it's here on my shelf - but I have no interest in it beyond being a reminder of who I am and what Owner thinks of me...

Of course I don't have a reporter and a camera man recording all for posterity and giving me free headline space either. Yunno - "human interest" story? Offered only as encouragement for others to "find their true love?"

Of course not being human kind of puts me into a different category anyway - it loses a "connection"...

Owner's dogs have their own "objets d'affections" - like tennis balls, sticks, bones, rabbit babies found in the yard (eeyuu!) But one considers this as totally natural - they being the "no-minds" that they are? (Not to critique - they are bright like knowing where their next meal comes from kind of bright.)

Maybe there is a parallel here with the Brazilian woman?

All good points, Dobbin. But of course, YOUR ‘free spirit’ retains intelligence, character…and, of course, good horse sense!
