Bird Flu Prep-- a hood mask

Now that Europe is starting to get bird flu in their countries, it is a good time to review our prep items.

I saw this one on CE forum this morning and thought it looked interesting and worth posting. A hood mask.....Not a recommendation, just open for discussion.

Please add any BF preps that might be appropriate or helpful!!!!

I might be missing something here but it appears the only way you can get a price on this product is to enter all of your information including credit card # (did not go that far). When you look at your cart there is NO price for this item...........Ray

Ray.....not sure about how it works either! But, if you are interested, here is the thread from CE that has some answers about the mask. Look on post #5 for price. It seems like the starter of that thread is the person selling them. Hope this helps!!!

That appears to to be a smoke escape mask, intended for SHORT TERM use while you escape a smoky environment. The filters do not/will not filter virus particles any better than a basic surgical mask and are intended to only last a fairly short (less than an hour easily) period of time.
The stats presented for the purported N95 illustrated are just plain wrong.
