Biden slammed on social media after announcing Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday

Fox News Story by Haley Chi-Sing

President Joe Biden was slammed on social media Saturday after designating Easter Sunday, the most solemn Christian holiday, as ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’

Prominent Christians, politicians, and commenters flooded social media platforms with criticism after the announcement from the White House.

"On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives," a statement released by the White House read.

"Today, we send a message to all transgender Americans: You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back," it continued. "NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility."

Easter Sunday also falls on March 31 this year. Easter marks one of the most important days for Christians, as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy called Biden out on X, formerly Twitter, writing, "Joe Biden just proclaimed that ‘Transgender Visibility Day’ is on Sunday, March 31st. I wonder how he came up with that date."

Rep. Alex Mooney, R-W.Va., echoed Ramaswamy's sentiments as he blasted Biden for the "coincidence on the timing."

"Joe Biden has proclaimed Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day of Visibility,’" Mooney wrote on X. "What a coincidence on the timing, right? This is a direct assault on Christianity. Yet another attack on religion and traditions by this administration."

Tennessee Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger said the announcement was "intentional" and slammed it as a "blatant disregard."

This is a direct assault on Christianity. It’s evident the left is determined to undermine our religion and traditions," she wrote on X. "This isn’t just blatant disregard, it’s intentional."

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson shared a screenshot of the White House statement, writing alongside it, "What a slap in the face to all Christians in America…"

Biden has previously come under fire for his stance on LGBTQ+ and abortion issues given his own position as a "devout Catholic" who regularly attends church. The White House also used the same terminology when addressing Biden's pro-choice stance on abortion.

A recent poll from Pew Research found that just 13% of Americans think of Biden as "very religious," while 41% say he is "somewhat religious" and another 44% say he is "not at all" or "not too religious."

I think I can...
If it wasn't already obvious that evil has overtaken the government, now it should be.

I'm not one of those "last days" theorists, but I have to say, the amount of evil taking over our culture has truly frightened me into thinking Satan is here and keeping busy. There have always been evil people, but now it's even taken over ordinary people and become mainstream. Expected, even. Well, I'm not playing along.

The Easter Egg roll is not Christian anyway and needs to go. Its pays tribute to the goddess of Ishtar. Corn Pop is just a Communist and he also needs to go. Its probably a reaction to him signing the removal of the mental illness flag from embasies.
Until 25 years ago the majority of Christian Americans never gave a second glance at the supposed crime of stealing from an ancient goddess
It was considered an all American Christian tradition for millions of Americans
Now
Christianity is under dire attack from all segments of society including by fellow Christian’s
Give it a break

No effort will be expended by me to get mad over this type of situation.

Ever human living or dead will one day drop to one knee and be forced, compelled or privileged to acknowledge who rules the world. There's one propitiation. One.

You either accepted it or you didn't.

Most of those folks are going to be really sad for a REALLY long time...

it look looks like trans day of visibility has been around since about 2012 and is always "celebrated" on March 31..(damn who knew there was a day for this, I feel bad that I didn't get them anything to commemorate it). However..and a BIG however, pudding cups proclamation is the FIRST one given by a president to mark the day.

I did a little research. 64 percent of Americans identify as Christian. 0.6 percent of americans aged 13 and up identify as trans.

So the dumbass just pissed off a whole crapload of Americans, to pander to what is literally a rounding error

Who advises this guy anyway. He's too out of it to know better, but to pull this crap on Easter? are you INSANE Joe? Well come to think of it, he is isn't he.

The amount of things Christianity "borrowed" from the "established" religions of the Roman Empire and its neighbors when it became a cornerstone in revitalizing the Empire is a whole PhD presentation.

President Biden's Democrat administration is taking flak for prohibiting children from submitting religious Easter eggs for a contest.

If we "do" have judgement coming on April 8, we thoroughly deserve it.

We ARE Sodom and Gomorrah.

But
It helped keep Christianity alive for 2 thousand years
That’s a great thing in and of its self
Actually---

The 'other' religions were "shooting arrows" of their beliefs, trying to connect with God--and MISSING THE MARK.

Only Jesus Christ, as He himself said, came to "reveal the Father" and stated that He (alone) is "The Way, The Truth, and The Life."

And folks--PLEASE PLEASE read my sig line.

The "deception" is already here.

And the ONLY safety is in the One who said, "I am.....truth."

Flee to HIM for protection--now---while you can.

We are living in a filthy vile world. The only way to rise above it is through Jesus. There is no other way. Satan is the god of this world. So why should we expect anything good here. God sent his Son to die for all who go to him. Then we know we have hope in everlasting life with Jesus. Read his holy word in the bible. They are words that are real living words. Only Jesus will change this world. You and I can do nothing, but to keep in prayer.

Outrage Ensues As Biden Celebrates "Transgender Day of Visibility" On Easter

BY TYLER DURDEN
SATURDAY, MAR 30, 2024 - 05:05 PM

The White House has released a statement celebrating "Transgender Day of Visibility," which President Joe Biden 'proclaimed' in 2021 as March 31 - and which has been celebrated by activists on this day since 2014 after this individual 'founded and organized' it.

According to the White House:
"NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity," the statement read.
And where Easter is typically held the first Sunday after the full moon occurs on or after the spring equinox, while "Transgender Day of Visibility" is on the same date each year, many have taken offense to the day's proximity to the Christian holiday.
