Bloody hell ! Anybody got a track on the E-6s?
The 2 Skyking initial calls aren't of high priority-but the number of them indicate stratcom is checking and making sure the Skyking system is up and running.
When they start mentioning "Skyking Skyking Skyking Skyking Skyking" at the beginning of the messages, then it's time to hit the bunker. Actually, anything over a 3 "skyking" message could be considered worrisome...

Pray they have calmed down............and locally the usual .gov hustle and bustle has actually stopped in the past hour or so.
I no longer post in the BS but some areas of the swamp have been hopping lately. Your post ties in well with the "hopping"; gives it context.

Well….shit.
Glad we’re back in very rural Wyoming again…and upwind of Cheyenne’s FE Warren nuke missile base…by about 150 miles. And I found a perfect place to dig a hidey while on a very steep, 200 foot tall bluff…19 miles south of town.
The “$50 and up underground shelter” book style…

They have been active today on their HFGCS channels but the actual EAM's are at a normal count. Tweet from a site operator

JUST TO REASSURE EVERYONE (DUE TO THE INCREASE IN SITE VISITORS OVER THE LAST FEW HOURS);
NOTHING IS REALLY OFF THE CHARTS OR ABNORMAL REGARDING THE NUMBER OF MESSAGES HAVING BEEN SENT.

Definitely not. That's a political sideshow/freakshow.
EAMs are real deal push the nuclear button messages.
FAR better than EF Hutton (if you remember the reference).
EVERYBODY who's anybody's ears perk up when these hit the waves.

Guess I shouldn't say "normal" as they are in fact elevated and the non EAM chatter is ,to me, unusually frequent and long.

Best I can tell is 3 P8's up one north bound toward seatac other flying around central fla around port lucie. Make that 4 the 4th flying around seattle now.

Here's a link to how the Joint Chiefs of Staff generate and respond to the EAM messages. This report is old, and heavily redacted. More recent info simply doesn't exist publicly, sorry.
But it does give a bit of a glimpse into nuclear warfare operations.
