EASTON, Mass. —
The driver of a car with a bumper sticker critical of former President Donald Trump is facing charges after police say he intentionally crashed into a pro-Trump store in Massachusetts.
Police later identified the driver as Sean Flaherty, 46, of Raynham. He faces charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and malicious destruction of property.
Malicious destruction of property is a felony charge. It suggests that police believe there is probable cause that the crash was purposeful and committed with malice.
A video posted by the Easton Police Department on Facebook shows the black Volkswagen Jetta slamming through the glass and plowing through several racks of clothing inside the New England for Trump store. Police said they were dispatched to the incident at approximately 5:10 p.m.

One employee was inside the store at the time of the crash. Police said he was not injured.
The store is located at 620 Washington St., Route 138, alongside several restaurants and other businesses. A large sign in the style of Trump's campaign signs advertises "T-shirts, hats, flags and more" and Trump flags fill most of the windows.

Wow. Used to live walkng distance from there. Easton is a weird kind of town. Small farms, a small Catholic college, slightly more conservative than surrounding town, but with a high youth crime issue. IIRC both Easton and Raynham are part of the Bridgewater Triangle wherein lies the great Hockomock swamp. Possessed by spirits according to legend.

That's why I seldom identify myself as a veteran, will not have any stickers or labels indicating what party I support. I believe in being as gray as possible. I will never open carry. When we travel to the east coast we make it a point to go hundreds of miles out of our way to avoid the Madison, WI and Chicago area. If we ever travel again, if we see a mob blocking major roads, I will turn around risk a ticket traveling the wrong direction on the shoulder just to avoid them. A couple hundred dollar fine is better than being murdered.
I had a job once where I actually worked and lived with these unhinged people. Some are OK, but I have found some that trigger over the most innocent of things and start shouting or crying or otherwise acting out. And found some that act out covertly, sneaking around causing damage to property.

I went to a Roller Disco Birthday party associated with long time famous lefty politicians in a lefty part of town(L5P)about a year after Trump became Prez and when we parked I realized there was a Trump sticker and I RAN to the car and removed it so we would not get attacked!
